    In my PHP web site will have a text converted to jpeg file,so it is a image. I want that i give users option to share the image. every image will have unique url so they can share image on facebook,twitter , do i need to put images with their url in mysql database or you do it in cloud? user will write text and then script will convert it to image and show it as image. then i want to provide user that he/she can share their created image. It would be great if you could provide me with a link or tutorial for my problem. Dont be hard on beginners,you were all in the same boat.. Thanks, LauroSkr

  • Make a shortcode echo in the middle of an URL in HREF

    The shortcode [mmjs-city] echoes the city the user is in. I want to make a link that takes the user to a results page with the user's city as search term. Basically the URL should be the results page URL + the result of the shortcode (the city). I tried to write it this way: Search for your city Normally I would just use PHP and assign the city to a value but I'm in a page not the theme and PHP doesn't work on pages for some reason, most likely It's possible but I don't know how. Anyway, anybody knows how could I do it? Thanks and merry christmas

  • Optional URL fragment in Codeigniter?

    This is maybe a simple syntax question or possibly a best-practices question in terms of codeigniter. I should start by saying I'm not a PHP or Codeigniter person so trying to get up to speed on helping on a project. I've found the CI documentation fairly good. The one question I can't find an answer to is how to make part of a URL optional. An example the CI documentation uses is this: example.com/index.php/products/shoes/sandals/123 and then the function used to parse the URI: function shoes($sandals, $id) For my example, I'd like to be able to modify the URL as such: example.com/index.php/products/shoes/all So, if no ID is passed, it's just ignored. Can that be done? Should that be done? A second question unrelated to my problem but pertaining to the example above, why would the variable $sandals be used as in the example, the value is 'sandals'? Shouldn't that variable be something like $shoetype?

  • Reading html with accented characters from a URL on iPhone

    Hello, I'm having trouble extracting the html from a website which contains accented characters. Specifically, there are French characters on the site. Currently I'm using: NSString* html= [NSString stringWithContentsOfURL: [NSURL URLWithString: url] usedEncoding: &enc error:&error]; to get html from a URL. It works perfectly fine for any sites which are all English, but with a mostly English site with French characters it returns nothing. I've tried a few different types of encoding, but none have worked for me. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Simple question really for anyone who's been through this: I have a form that I'm placing on a site. This form submits some parameters to a site which then sends some parameters using "GET" to another site, which then opens the third site. Now the first 2 sites pass so quickly that I can not see what parameters were passed using the URL. I can do a manual check using source code but its too long and complex. I just need a simple tool or hint or firefox addon on how to track every single URL (wven if it has a META redirect) so I can read parameters being sent via the form. Thanks

  • Circular Reference for Parent Link on Work Item cannot be resolved by Retry

    I receive the following error; OH-TFS-Connector-0051: Operation failed getCollectionMetaData. Server Error : TF201063: Adding a Parent link to work item 1737 would result in a circular relationship. To create this link, evaluate the existing links, and remove one of the other links in the cycle. I have completely flattened out the Work Items in the source project. When retrying the migration the timestamp is modified on the pending errors however the issues are not resolved. These Work Items now have no parents or children in the source project. So I'm wondering if the retry list is no longer valid but there doesn't appear to be a away to have it update? I can run the whole migration again, however it takes 5-7 hours to just do the work items so it would be great if there is a quick fix.

    I would need to create a php file that will do some work on my webserver and that will be called from a program on another server over the internet. Suppose the php file that will do the work is located at www.example.com/work.php What is the best way to protect unsollicited calls to the www.example.com/work.php? What I need is some mechanism so that when the intended program accesses the url (with some query string parameters), the work gets done, but if somebody type www.example.com/work.php in their browser, access will be denied and no work will be done. The way I've thought is to add some 'token' in the querystring that would be constructed by some algorithm from the calling program, a sample result could be to append to the url : ?key=randomKeyAtEachCall&token=SomeHexadecimalResultCalculatedFromTheKey and the key and token would be validated with a reverse algorithm on the php side. Is that safe, Are there any better idea?

    Hi, I have an requirement that, in my application on clicking an button i have to laod one more application with the same template which i was using for my application. So, on clicking the button in my application i have used one intermediate page in that using iframe i passed that URL of an external application. Its working fine. But the problem is in the external applicatio which is not in my control on clicking an button it is moving to next page. In that page i want to hide an button. I did that also using div tag color as white and set the positions. But the problem is in all the pages in the same position that is affecting. So i want to get the url of the page which is loading in the iframe on the second or third click of an external application, so that i can using some conditions i can hide the control. So please any one help me to get the solution for this problem

    Hello, I wish to disable the href links on a UIWebView. First, I want the look of the link to change so the user doesn't think it is clickable. Second, I want the actual link to not be able to be tapped. I do not want to try webView:shouldStartLoadWithRequest:navigationType: since that not change the appearance of my links.     I'm trying to write (or just find an existing) PHP method that can take a link and extract the url. The trick is, it needs to hold under the weight of strange looking domains like: www.champa.kku.ac.th Looking at this one myself with human eyes, I still guessed it incorrectly: thought the domain would be kku.ac.th but that gives a dns error when visiting. So anyone knows of a good way to reliably extract the domain from url: http://site.com/hello.php http://site.com.uk/hello.php http://subdomain.site.com/hello.php http://subdomain.site.com.uk/hello.php http://www.champa.kku.ac.th/hello.php // and even the one I couldn't tell

    Hi all! I'm having trouble displaying SOME images on my android app. Just normal display image from certain URL. Some images works, some just doesn't work. For instance try displaying this image from URL: http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/7379/tronlegacys7i7wsjf.jpg It doesn't work. Doesn't even work in emulator. Could it be the EXIF info for the image is problematic? Can anyone try to see they are able to display that image on android app, and share the code/method to display that image on screen?     I need a URL to just test basic http connectivity. It needs to be consistent and: Always be up Never change drastically due to IP or user agent. (IE: 301 Location redirect/ huge difference in content... minor would be tolerable) The URL itself has a consistent content-length. (IE: it doesn't vary from by 2kb at most, ever) A few examples, yet none match all 3 criteria: One example of always up: www.google.com (yet it 301 redirects based on IP location). Another good one is http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en. but the problem there is that based on a given holiday, the content-length can really vary.

    It's easy to let program figure out the dependency at compile time, (with gcc -MM). Nevertheless, link dependency (deciding which libraries should be linked to) seems to be difficult to figure out. This issue become emergent when multiple targets with individual libraries to link to are needed. For instance, three dynamic library targets t1.so, t2.so and t3.so needs to be built. t1.so needs math library (-lm), while t2 and t3 don't. It would be tedious to write separate rules. A single rule requiring the three targets linked with math library saves the trouble. However, it causes inflation of target size since math library is unused for t2.so and t3.so. Any ideas?
