    I have a route defined as below. $route['manage-vehicles'] = new Zend_Controller_Router_Route( 'vehicles/manage/page/:page', array( 'controller' => 'vehicles', 'action' => 'manage', 'page' => '1' ) ); When the 'page' parameter is not specifically defined (e.g. in a menu constructed using the navigation component), the resultant URL is /vehicles/manage/page I would much prefer or the URL not to to display the default paramater key in this scenario i.e. /vehicles/manage Any ideas how to accomplish this would be appreciated? I have another ActionResult just like this except taking in an int id as parameter and it works fine with the first url format.

  • Change list link to foreign key change page

    When viewing the admin change list for a model, is it possible to make the columns that correspond to foreign keys links to their respective pages? A simple example is I have a Foo object which contains Bar as a foreign key. If I'm viewing the admin change list for Foo (and have it set to include Bar in the display_list columns), the main column would link to the Foo instance's edit page while the Bar column would link to the Boo instance's edit page. I understand I can override the template that's used, but I was curious if there was a solution that didn't require that.

  • Magento - Checkout URL doesn't refresh

    I'm facing a very strange problem. AS far as I know, Magento changes the URL at the checkout. From step 1 to Step 5/6 the URL changes when you go forward or backward. Or if you use continue or the back button, but.... at our installation it stays with "checkout/onepage/" the whole time... It doesn't change. Does someone has the same problem or does someone got maybe a hint how to solve this problem? Thank you!

  • Need url's to be non secure when moving away from a secured link (without hardcoded url's in html)?

    I have an asp.net site. It has an order form which is accessible at https://secure.example.com/order.aspx. The links on the site do not include the domain name. So for example the home page is 'default.aspx'. The issue is that if I click on a link like the home page from the secure page, the url becomes https://secure.example.com/default.aspx instead of http://www.example.com/default.aspx. What's a good way to handle this? The scheme should automatically work using any domain name based on where it's launched from. So if the site is launched from 'localhost', moving away from the secured page, the url's should be http://localhost/... The navigation links are in a master page.

    Is there a way with gcc and GNU binutils to mark some functions such that they will generate an error at link-time if used? My situation is that I have some library functions which I am not removing for the sake of compatibility with existing binaries, but I want to ensure that no newly-compiled binary tries to make use of the functions. I can't just use compile-time gcc attributes because the offending code is ignoring my headers and detecting the presence of the functions with a configure script and prototyping them itself. My goal is to generate a link-time error for the bad configure scripts so that they stop detecting the existence of the functions.

    I am writing a .NET 3.5 WPF application in C#. This application needs to be able to get the URL(s) out of the browser window when it is in the foreground. I already have the code working that handles a global Windows hotkey and then checks to see if the foreground IntPtr is from a browser. If so, I am able to obtain the System.Diagnostics.Process objects that maps to the browser. At this point, I would like to obtain the URL(s) from the browser. Thank you, G

  • REST destroy link generate problem

    I am using rails beta 3 and I have a erb page named index.html.erb for discussions controller. In that page, I have a link as following: <%= link_to 'Delete', {:action='destroy', :id=@discussion}, :confirm="Are you sure", :method='post' % Which is supposed to generate a link to delete a discussion, however, the generated html is Delete which always routes to the show action. I think the href should be /discussions/destroy/1. But for some reason it is not. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    I'm currently in the process of putting up my first website for public use. I am using the codeigniter framework in order to do this, but I am having trouble loading the controllers from the url. I currently have the default codeigniter installment that you download trying to get things to work. The controller welcome is loaded by default, but when I try to load it through the url it doesn't work. I was having the same problem with the site that I had uploaded earlier.     I wanted to know if I can change my open ID url from say: www.abc.com/username to www.pqr.com/username while the relying party still thinks I am the same user? or even say: www.abc.com/something/username to www.abc.com/somethingelse/username I intuitively think that this is not possible since if it were, then it is possible for anyone to spoof anyone else's identity. Also, does Open ID specify which fields the relying party should use to ensure secure determination of the user's identity? For example, I would expect it to club the URL provided with the username/email address sent back by the Open ID server.

    Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with this algorithm to extract the get variables from a url and print them each on a new line like: x=y z=hello etc. but instead it prints a seemingly random section of the url with no newlines to the file.     I have /path/to/my/theme/static/css/frontend.css which is called by base.html <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="{{ STATIC_URL }}css/frontend.css" media="all" /> In which I've got a background for the header: #header-wrapper min-width: 960px; height: 150px; background: transparent url(img/header-bg.png) repeat-x center bottom; } The file is /path/to/my/theme/static/img I've run manage.py collectstatic to gather the files and almost everything looks correct except the link generated looks like: http://example.com/static/css/img/header-bg.png In which the image does not show, because the correct URL is: http://example.com/static/img/header-bg.png Where am I going wrong??

    I am building a firefox extension. In this extension, I want to see the URLs of any new webpage that the user visits. The webpage can be in a different tab or window than the current tab that the user is viewing (this should also catch the URL of pop-ups). Is there a way to find when firefox makes a GET or POST request and grab the URL? An alternative that I am trying to avoid is going through all the tabs and manually check to see if they have loaded a new page. Thanks

  • CSS and JQuery: spaces inside image name break code of url()

    Hi, I have a page that is supposed to display a larger version of an image when hovered over a thumbnail. I have a 'div' with an ID and the JQuery code is as following: $(document).ready(function(){ $('img').hover(function() { var src = $("#im" + this.id).attr("src"); $('#viewlarge').css('backgroundImage','url(' + src +')'); return false; }); }); The images I use, are generated by a Ruby script that "generate" an image with a similar, yet different id. However, sometimes, photo's are uploaded that have "spaces" inside. My developer tools tell me that the background-image is not set correctly, yet the image path is correct and the browser don't have problems finding the image. My question is, can I somehow sanitize the url 'src', so spaces won't be a problem? I am aware of doing this server side, yet I would like to know how to do this with JQuery/JS too. Thanks!
