• Error Copying Source File in Audio Spectrum Visualizer [closed]

  I'm testing this code using LibGDX, Java, and Eclipse to test the music player that detects the frequency. • Fixing LINQ Error: Sequence contains no elements

  I’ve read some posts regarding this error when using the First() or Single() command.   They suggest using FirstOrDefault() or SingleorDefault() instead. But I recently encountered it when using a Sum() command in conjunction with a Where():   Code Snippet var effectiveFloor = policies.Where(p => p.PricingStrategy == PricingStrategy.EstablishFloor).Max(p => p.Amount);   When the Where() function eliminated all the items in the policies collection, the Sum() command threw the “Sequence contains no elements” exception.   Inserting the DefaultIfEmpty() command between the Where() and Sum(), prevents this error: Code Snippet var effectiveFloor = policies.Where(p => p.PricingStrategy == PricingStrategy.EstablishFloor).DefaultIfEmpty().Max(p => p.Amount);   but now throws a Null Reference exception!   The Fix: Using a combination of DefaultIfEmpty() and a null check in the Sum() command solves this problem entirely: Code Snippet var effectiveFloor = policies.Where(p => p.PricingStrategy == PricingStrategy.EstablishFloor).DefaultIfEmpty().Max(p =>  p==null?0 :p.Amount);

  I have a series of text items- raw HTML from a MYSQL database. I want to find the most common phrases in these entries (not the single most common phrase, and ideally, not enforcing word-for-word matching). My example is any review on Yelp.com, that shows 3 snippets from hundreds of reviews of a given restaurant, in the format: "Try the hamburger" (in 44 reviews) e.g., the "Review Highlights" section of this page: http://www.yelp.com/biz/sushi-gen-los-angeles/ I have NLTK installed and I've played around with it a bit, but am honestly overwhelmed by the options. This seems like a rather common problem and I haven't been able to find a straightforward solution by searching here. Thanks in advance for any help.

  I have these possible bit flags. 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 64, 128, 256, 512, 2048, 4096, 16384, 32768, 65536 So each number is like a true/false statement on the server side. So if the first 3 items, and only the first 3 items are marked "true" on the server side, the web service will return a 7. Or if all 14 items above are true, I would still get a single number back from the web service which is is the sum of all those numbers. What is the best way to handle the number I get back to find out which items are marked as "true"?

  Hi all, I am having trouble installing Enclosure and getting it to work. I have followed this guide http://www.enclojure.org/gettingstarted and successfully installed Enclosure (I think). However, when I try to build the sample application (labrepl) I get a bunch of errors and a failed build. I haven't used Java in a long time and I've never used Netbeans, and the error doesn't seem very helpful with my limited knowledge of this domain. • How to I access "Deny" message from a Lidgren client?

  I'm using the Lidgren v3 network for a UDP client/server networking model. On the server end, I'm initializing a NetServer object with the NetIncomingMessage.ConnectionApproval message type enabled. So the client is able to successfully connect and the first packet it sends is a login packet, containing a username and password supplied by the user. The server is receiving that and doing some black magic to authenticate, and everything works up to that point. If the login fails, the server calling NetIncomingMessage.SenderConnection.Deny("Invalid Login Credentials"). I want to know how to properly receive this deny message on the client. I'm getting the message, it shows up with a message type of NetIncomingMessage.StatusChanged. If I call ReadString on that message, I get a corrupted version of the string I passed to the Deny method on the server. The type of corruption varies, I've seen odd characters in there but in every case it's truncated and is way shorter than the string I entered. Any ideas? The official documentation is sparse on this topic. I could use pointers from anyone who has successfully used the Lidgren library and uses the Accept or Deny methods. Also, if I don't do any authentication and just Approve() the connection every time, stuff actually works just fine and I'm getting reliable two-way UDP traffic. (And lastly, Stack Exchange said I don't have enough reputation to use the "Lidgren" tag....???)

• Strange javascript error when using Kongregates API

  In the hopes of finding a fellow unity3d developer also aiming for the Kongregate contest.. I've implemented the Kongregate API and can see that the game receives a call with my username and presents it ingame. I'm using Application.ExternalCall("kongregate.stats.submit",type,amount); where type is a string "Best Score" and amount is an int (1000 or something). This is the error I'm getting: You are trying to call recursively into the Flash Player which is not allowed.   I'm not sure I've setup everything I've needed to in my C# class to properly, but it does work in COM. I've been looking for an example of a C# class that was successfully used in a C/C++ project, but haven't come across anything. I've tried using the OLE/COM Object View app to open the .tlb file and save as .h, but it gives some errors: MIDL1009: unknown argument ignored; MIDL1001: cannot open input file Studio "Studio" isn't the name of the file, it's Syslog, so that raises a red flag to me. Any ideas?

• "Unable to install initrd-tools" error during installation.

  Was trying to install Ubuntu from a CD on a machine which already has windows on it, choose the option of "Resize IDE1 master (hda) and use freed space" during the "Install the base system" step. After that i get the error: Unable to install initrd-tools. An error was returned while trying to install the initrd-tools package into the target system. Check /target/var/log/bootstrap.log for details. The problem is one one hand i cannot proceed with the complete installation and on other hand if i remove the CD, am not able to boot windows as it says No bootable device. Would highly appreciate for any recommendations.

  I started up Eclipse today, created a new project, and immediately had an error before I had changed a single line: Error generating final archive: Debug Certificate expired on 11/12/11 When installed, the Android SDK generates a "debug" signing certificate for you in a file called "debug.keystore". Eclipse uses this certificate rather than forcing you to create a new one for every project. In older versions of Eclipse, the certificate was only valid for 365 days, but as I understand it the default has been changed to 30 years in newer versions. If for whatever reason you don't want to upgrade Eclipse, you can manually delete the certificate to for Eclipse to generate a new one. You can find the location in Preferences -> Android -> Build -> Default debug keystore (mine was in C:\Users\myUserName\.android\); just delete the "debug.keystore" file, then go back into Eclipse and Clean the project to generate a new file.
