  • PHP app\console wont work trying to create bundle for Symfony2

    I have installed Symfony2 on a iis 7 server with PHP 5.3.21 and everything works ok ( the php, the symphony demo page ). I try to create my own helloWorld, as the tutorial says : php app/console generate:bundle I go Start-Run-CMD and put that line of code and it gives me back this : could not open input file : app/console and before anyone asks i am in the project directory when i perform this command I put the PHP directory to the System PATH but the problem persists.

    Hi Guys Currently i am doing one project in that we need to generate report from database. Since my server memory is too low im getting 'Out of Memory' Exception when im writing it at serverside and also when i write directly to a excel file using http header as excel file im not able to create multiple sheets since my database table is huge more than 65536 rows. I saw many solution using a third party tool but i cant use those into mine..If anyone already worked on this please give me some direction. Also i tried using javascript but for that i need to use datagrid at server side?? but in my project i m not allowed to use like this.

  • Creating a simple wcf service publishing it to my webhotel, and get it to work

    Hi, This seems to be a recurring problem to me. I want to get started doing wcf services. I create a new Wcf Service Library, compile it, and publish it using FTP to my providers webhotel. But its not working. I somehow cant get access. I dont want some fancy security model - i just want to get a hole through to my simple webservice. Seems that its the part when i publish it to my webhotel (in a subdomain) that breaks the webservice - its working perfectly when starting it locally. How to proceed anyone?

    I want to do a simple PL/SQL program on the Oracle 10g internet environment. The program is: DECLARE stud_rec students%ROWTYPE; last_name VARCHAR2:='Clinton'; BEGIN SELECT * INTO stud_rec FROM students WHERE student_id=100; END; I have a table called students with data inside of it. The issue is that when I want to run this in the SQL command window I got this message: ORA-06550: line 3, column 11: PLS-00215: String length constraints must be in range (1 .. 32767) I have checked the syntax and I cannot find the error.     I'm creating a Rails application which uses MySQL. I have a table in my DB like this: create_table "pastes", :force => true do |t| t.string "title" t.text "body" t.string "syntax" t.boolean "private" t.datetime "expire" t.string "password" t.datetime "created_at" t.datetime "updated_at" end I want to show only the non-expired pastes to people, so I do this: @pastes = Paste.find(:all, :conditions => "expire < '#{Time.now.strftime('%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S')}'") However, even that returns ALL pastes. Not just those that are not expired yet. Can anyone help me? Thanks Oh, changing < to > returns no pastes, not even the non-expired ones :(

  • OpenCV. cvFnName() works, but cv::FunName() doesn't work

    I'm using OpenCV to write a plugin for a simulator. I've made an OpenCV project (single - not a plugin) and it works fine. When I added OpenCV libs to the plugin project, I added all libs required. Visual Studio 2010 doesn't highlight any code line with red. All looks fine and compiles fine. But in execution, the program halts with a Runtime Error on any cv::function. For example: cv::imread, or cv::imwrite. But if I replace them with cvLoadImage() and cvSaveImage(), it works fine. Why does this happen? I don't want to rewrite the whole script in old-api-style (cvFnName). It means I should change all Mat objects to IplImages, and so on.     I have regular javascript code and am trying to utilize JQuery just to load and parse an xml file. I have the following: function loadXml() { $(function() { $.ajax({ type: "GET", url: "my_file.xml", dataType: "xml", success: parseXml }); }); } function parseXml() { alert("Parsing..."); } When calling loadXml I cannot get the callback success function to execute. I am running this all locally and my_file.xml resides in the same directory as this javascript. Any ideas?

    Hi All, In my Asp.Net project I wanna use Property Auto-wiring, e.g. for my ILogger. Basically I placed Property into my base classes. One for Page, one for UserControl. I checked the container and it'a definitely set.     I know that they are used to store data, but I have a difficult time understanding exactly how to use them in a program. In addition, I found this site with a tetris clone tutorial (the actual tutorial is missing). It uses arrays, but I can't really make sense of how it works. Here's an example of the code - public int[, ,] TShape = new int[4, 4, 2] { {{1, 0}, {0, 1}, {1, 1}, {2, 1}}, {{1, 0}, {0, 1}, {1, 1}, {1, 2}}, {{0, 0}, {1, 0}, {2, 0}, {1, 1}}, {{0, 0}, {0, 1}, {1, 1}, {0, 2}}}; Could it be that I'm looking too hard into this, or perhaps there's something I'm not grasping about it?

  • Porting a web application to work in IE7

    I'm developing a web application that uses lots of Javascript and CSS, both of my own creation and through third-party libraries. These include jQuery and Google Maps & Visualization JS APIs. I've been testing everything in Firefox 3. Things are peachy until it turns out the main target of this webapp is (cue sad trombone) IE7. I'm looking for caveats, advice, libraries, or other references to help make this transition as easy as possible (not that it's actually going to be easy). I've already tried IE7.js though it hasn't yet shown itself to be the silver bullet I was hoping for. I'm sure that it works as advertised, I think it's just not as all-encompassing as I'd like (example: colors like #4684EE and #DC3912, which are correctly rendered in FF3, are rendered as black in IE7, with or without IE7.js). Are there other libraries out there to help bring IE7 (more) in line with FF3? A corollary question: what debugger would you recommend for IE7? I'm currently using Firebug Lite, but it runs painfully slowly. Is there anything out there with similar features that I might have missed?

From page A a link is clicked that takes a long time to load, longer than time T, and would eventually load another page; B. Will the meta refresh on page A cause the page to be re-directed to C, or will the processing of the link override the meta refresh, eventually loading page B?

    Hi, I was just wondering about the functions fopen, fclose, socket and closesocket. When calling fopen or opening a socket, what exactly is happening (especially memory wise)? Can opening files/sockets without closing them cause memory leaks? And third, how are sockets created and what do they look like memory wise? I'm also interrested in the role of the operating system (Windows) in reading the sockets and sending the data.

    I am trying to insert data from one of my existing table into another existing table. Is it possible to insert data into any existing table using select * into query. I think it can be done using union but in that case i need to record all data of my existing table into temporary table, then drop that table and finally than apply union to insert all records into same table eg. select * into #tblExisting from tblExisting drop table tblExisting select * into tblExisting from #tblExisting union tblActualData Here tblExisting is the table where I actually want to store all data tblActualData is the table from where data is to be appended to tblExisting. Is it right method. Do we have some other alternative ?

  • How does Windows' 'Open with' work?

    I was under the impression that when you double click a file (or choose 'Open With' from the right click menu), Windows simply calls the application with the filename as the parameter. Something like this: C: App.exe file.abc However, I just double clicked an .xls file and then checked the PEB of the Excel instance that sprang up. To my surprise the commandline did not contain the filename as a parameter. So that set me wondering. What exactly is mechanism Windows uses to have a file opened by a relevant application? Is there a special API that each application that supports such facility must expose?
