• Is it legal to have SOAP envelopes with different namespaces between the request and response?

  I'm new to SOAP and web services, and I'm getting an error I don't understand. Using soapUI, I'm sending the following request: <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:doc="http://myproj.mycompany.com"> <soapenv:Header/> <soapenv:Body>... and getting this response: <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope"> <soap:Body>... I know the service is getting the info, because things are happening properly down the line. However, my soapUI teststep fails. It has two active assertions: "SOAP Response" and "Not SOAP Fault." The failure marker is next to "SOAP Response," with the following message: line -1: Element Envelope@http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope is not a valid Envelope@http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/ document or a valid substitution. So far, I have tried modifying the URLs and namespaces of the messages to match each other, and adding the following line: <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" substitutionGroup="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"/> Is this namespace mixing legal? Is my problem actually something else?

• I need my BizTalk map to stop converting xml:lang to ns1:lang

  I have a map in BizTalk 2009 that is converting some data into an XML document to be sent on to another system. The target schema includes some elements with xml:lang attributes. BizTalk generates those as ns1:lang. The target system requires that the prefix xml be used. • Why would a WebService return nulls when the actual service returns data?

  I have a webservice (out of my control) that I have to talk to. I also have a packet-sniffer on the line, and (SURPRISE!!!) the developers of the webservice aren't lying. They are actually sending back all of the data that I requested. But the web-service code that is auto-generated from the WSDL file is giving me "null" as a value. I used their WSDL file to generate my Web Reference. I checked my data types with the datatypes that the WSDL file has declared. And I used the code as listed below to perform the calls: DT_MaterialMaster_LookupRequest req = new DT_MaterialMaster_LookupRequest(); req.MaterialNumber = "101*"; req.DocumentNo = ""; req.Description = "Pipe*"; req.Plant = "0000"; MI_MaterialMaster_Lookup_OBService srv = new MI_MaterialMaster_Lookup_OBService(); DT_MaterialMaster_Response resp = srv.MI_MaterialMaster_Lookup_OB(new DT_MaterialMaster_LookupRequest[] { req }); // Note that the response here is ALWAYS null!! Console.WriteLine(resp.Status); The resp object is an actual object. It was generated properly. However, the Status and MaterialData fields are always null. • Eclipse does not start on Windows 7

  Suddenly Eclipse today has decides to stop working. The last thing I did was close all perspectives and close Eclipse. When loading eclipse from the command prompt, using: "eclipse.exe -clean" the splash screen loads for a split second then exits. • How to rename an existing Grails application

  Hi there, Does anybody know how to (easily) "rename" an existing grails application? I'm running into this because my PaaS provider does not allow me to delete a subscription... So I want to deploy my application under a different name. Of course, I can do this manually, but I think it might be a useful 'top-level' script (i.e. "grails rename-app newappname") Manual hints: When I do a "grails create-app myappname" I can see the myappname exists in the following files (and filenames)... Of course this is done by the create-app script, which replaces @...@ tokens in the template.   I am using the DOM extension to parse an xml file containing xml namespaces. I would have that namespace declarations are treated just like any other attribute, but my tests seem to disagree.   I've this problem using STS: I'm building a simple Spring app, just to try out features like MVC and persistence. Now I've created something very simple, out of a bunch of tutorials for Spring 3, that I'm using. The application fails with this, during server startup: Code: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.annotation.DefaultAnnotationHandlerMapping#0': Initialization of bean failed; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.CannotLoadBeanClassException: Cannot find class [org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.annotation.AnnotationSessionFactoryBean] for bean with name 'mySessionFactory' defined in ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/spring/appServlet/servlet-context.xml]; nested exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.annotation.AnnotationSessionFactoryBean but I've org.springframework.orm in web-inf/classes folder (I even tried putting it in web-inf/lib). As I copied these libs there, the came out in Web App Libraries folder. Building this project in STS works fine as this dependency is set up in build path throught project properties, but how do I transfer the libs to the web app? (I'm using Tomcat 6 as it is the server I'm going to use sometime in the future for production). Is this a config problem of my XML? Or am I just missing the right way to put this lib? (I encountered the same problem before, but adding the needed lib in classes worked it out).   I am trying to install a Hercules Webcam Deluxe on my Ubuntu 11.10 (64 bits). I followed this guide: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Ov51x Step by step, only changing wget http://www.rastageeks.org/downloads/ov51x-jpeg/ov51x-jpeg-1.5.4.tar.gz by 1.5.9, because that is the latest version. I get stacked here: 2.4. Prepare the installation files make 2.5. Compile Compile the modules: sudo make install Because, when I enter that in a terminal, I get this error: make: *** No hay objetivos. Alto. For you, non Spanish-speaking-people, that is roughly translated as: "There are no objectives. Stop" So... what can I do?
