    I have the following code to create and apply a few styles for a custom TextArea in ActionScript 3. public class MyCustomTextArea extends TextArea { override protected function createChildren():void { super.createChildren(); this.styleSheet.setStyle("sup", { display: "inline", fontFamily: "ArialSup", fontSize:"12"}); this.styleSheet.setStyle("sub", { display: "inline", fontFamily: "ArialSub", fontSize:"12"}); this.setStyle("fontFamily", "Arial"); } } I have two problems with this code. this.styleSheet is always null when I create an instance of the class. If this.styleSheet is initialized to new StyleSheet() to avoid this issue, then the TextArea instance does not seem to recognize any of the HTML tags that can be used with the htmlText property. Can anyone help in fixing these two issues? Thanks.

  • Do we need seperate file path for window and linux in java

    I have a file on linux ubuntu server hosted with path name /home/kishor/project/detail/. When I made a web app in window to upload and download file from specified location i used path "c:\kishor\projects\detail\" for saving in window. For my surprise when i used window file path name in my server i am still able to get files and upload them, i.e, "c:\kishor\projects\detail\". Can anyone explain why it is working (as window and linux both use different file path pattern).

  • How to merge on project / multiple files in VSS?

    I have VSS 6.0. I have branched my project so that I can do parallel development. I have 100s of files in folder/subfolders. I have changed some 10-20 files in multiple folders in ver 2 branch. Now I want to merge changes done in ver 2 to ver 1 branch. When I select the project merge branches option is not enabled. neither is it enabled when I select multiple files inside a folder. It's only enabled when one file is selected. Can I not merge on folder / multiple files in VSS 6.0. My thinking was when I do merge on project, VSS would pop up file names whenever there's a conflict (i.e files that are changed)

  • Running a Model::find in for loop in cakephp v1.3

    Hi all, How can I achieve the following result in cakephp: In my application a Topic is related to category, category is related to city and city is finally related to state in other words: topic belongs to category, category belongs to city , city belongs to state.. Now in the Topic controller's index action I want to find out all the topics and it's city and state. How can I do this. I can easily do this using a custom query ($this-Model-query() function ) but then I will be facing pagination difficulties. I am writing method getReturnType which accepts java.lang.reflect.Method as input and returns object of Class private static Class<?> getReturnType(Method method) { Type type = ((ParameterizedType)method.getGenericReturnType()).getRawType(); return getClass(type); } This code compiles well but at runtime i get the below exception while casting Type to ParameterizedType. java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.Class cannot be cast to java.lang.reflect.ParameterizedType Please suggest.     My Users table (the one that I created) has the following columns: UserId,UserName,FirstName,LastName,DOB After I ran this command WebSecurity.InitializeDatabaseConnection("DefaultConnection", "Users", "UserId", "UserName", autoCreateTables: true); it created the required simple membership tables for me. How would I go about "UnConfirming" an user or setting the "IsConfirmed" flag to false in the webpages_Membership using the new SimpleMembership API? (Earlier, before going to simplemembership using the "Membership" class I could update an user using the api call : Membership.UpdateUser( user );)

    Hi All, I am developing an application in which I am trying to fetch Date, Time and Time Zone from single DateTimePicker control. Can anybody help to resolve this? Thanks in advance. EditV1: I am using .net framework 2.0. Now I am able to fetch Date and Time with Single DateTimepicker by setting its CustomFormat property as; dtpicker2.CustomFormat = "MM/dd/yyyy,hh:mm:ss" Now my problem is to fetch TimeZone. EditV2: Now here is one more issue, if I set DateTimePicker's format property to Time, it shows me something like 2:30:00 PM. I am storing this in a file and reasigning it to the DateTimePicker control. Can anybody help me out, how to achieve this?

Without depending much on application provider's expertise I want to achieve maximum o/p from linux. W.r.t. that I have certain questions as following: How to find out if there is scope for further tcp fine-tuning (without exhausting available resources) as the benchmark values given by vendor looks poor! Is there any parameter value that is available from OS / network stack that will show me the results. If at all there is scope, how shall I identify & configure OS tcp stack parameters i.e. using sysctl or any specific parameter Post tuning how shall I clearly measure performance enhancement / degradation ?

Since I want to generate most of data on the next day, I need access to whole db table. Could you please guide me to optimize / restructure the deployment model? Index of the array is the category_id like:: [8846] => Array ( [category_id] => 8846 [title] => Tsting two [description] => Tsting two [subtype] => categories [type] => object [level] => 2 [parent_category] => 8841 [tags] => new [name] => Tsting two ) each value has its parent_category value, I have around 500 elements in the array, what is the best way to make it. Process i followed: krsort categories array, so that all the child categories are at the beginning, then function makeHierarchical() { foreach($this->categories as $guid => $category) { if($category['level'] != 1) $this->multilevel_categories[$category['parent_category']][$guid] = $category; } } but this is not working, it does it only for first level. Can someone point out me the error.

The flow is as follows, suppose I have an application app.exe, and another application another.exe, so i have to do following: 1) Start app.exe 2) Stop/shutdown app.exe and start another.exe from app.exe 3) When another.exe completes, stop/shutdown another.exe and start app.exe from another.exe Anyone please provide me some clue of how to do it ?
