  Is there a way to ignore spelling and grammar for certain text styles in Word 2007? Some of the stuff I'm writing is pre-formatted text that looks like this and usually has stuff like if (str.length() != 3) which will give me the squiggly lines on misspelled words like the str in there.

• Error in Word 2007 page setup

  I am not sure what the issue may be, but I am getting a weird error in Word 2007 (running on Win7 pro x86). When I click the page setup button (or try and chnage one of the page formatiing button like orientation) the program stops responding and crashes on me. This is really getting annoying.   Word 2010 is automatically cropping image being insterted like this: The million dollar question is why? I have this problem only in this particular section of this document. There is no such problem in another sections of document. The one possibility how to display whole area of image is to use floating layout like the first image in presented screenshot. But this solution has disadvantage that I have to manually format image positions after changes in text before.

  Is there a way to Find highlighted text that ONLY begins with a open square bracket? I've tried using the square bracket as a wildcard, but it won't find any adjoining words. For example, I have a document containing conditional paragraphs, in squared brackets, with the "name" of the paragraph highlighted at the beginning: "[Document to return Thank you for sending the documents requested earlier.]" (the section in bold is highlighted in blue in Word) Is there a way to find "[Document to return"?   When formatting a document such as a resume, MS Word often inserts a large gap in the text--sometimes as much as half a page of blank space. When I try to delete the gap, moving the cursor from the continued text after the gap, it skips over the gap as if it's not even there, and deletes text from the previous point in the document before the gap. I can't "grab" the gap or highlight/delete the gap in any way. Ideas??

  I created a document by word 2010 in which I inserted captions for pictures and cross reffernec. I saved the document in my computer and emailed it to a colleague. When she opened the document in her computer, the caption list ( numbers which were cross referenced to pictures ) was not avaiable and she was not able to add refference to a picture or change an existing cross refference. It seems that caption list is only avaiable in the computer which the document is created.
