  • multi thread apps crashes in release mode

    Hello, I'm using Visual Studio 2008 (programming in c). I've a weird problem I worte a program that has 2 threads that runs simultaneously, a recording thread (using audio card to record into memory) and a translation thread (using a speech engine to recognize the words). when I run my program in debug mode (aka setting a breakpoint in the code) it runs great, however when I run in debug mode or release mode (outside the visual studio enviroment) it crashes and give me the following exception: "Unhandled exception at 0x7c911129 in LowLevel.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x014c7245." So it would seem that my specific authusage = baseusage.exclude(loggedevent__authevent__id__lt=1) isn't excluding by subclass. I have tried id_lt=1, id_isnull=True, and others. Halp.

However, when I type copy[:,1] into the Python shell, it gives me the following output, which is clearly wrong, and is probably what is throwing the error: array([1, 6, 1, 6, 1, 6, 1, 6, 1, 6, 1, 6, 1, 6, 1, 6, 1, 6]) Can anyone show me how to fix my code so that I can extract the second column and then take the mean of the second column as intended in the original code above? This single invoice should take over 3 pages, but when printed, the content flows off the footer and the next page is the following invoice. I am using divs instead of tables, and I can't understand why the long invoices will not print on multiple pages. Any ideas?

I mean point arent drawn. I wonder if there is any possibility that I can "cheat" that method and give it dynamic array in way it understands it and will read data from correct place thanks for help

    My app starts by presenting a tableview whose datasource is a Core Data SQLite store. When the app starts, a secondary thread with its own store controller and context is created to obtain updates from the web for data in the store. However, any resulting changes to the store are not notified to the fetchedresults controller (I presume because it has its own coordinator) and consequently the table is not updated with store changes. What would be the most efficient way to refresh the context on the main thread? I am considering tracking the objectIDs of any objects changed on the secondary thread, sending those to the main thread when the secondary thread completes and invoking "[context refreshObject:....] Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    There is some editor of latex that managed the labels for a multifile document?. I tried with TexMaker and LED, and they offers me suggestions about the labels present in the actual document and in the "Master" document but not the labels present in other files of the structure. I made a script to find those other labels but it will be real good that the suggestions covers all the file structure automatically. Finally i tried with Vim and Latex-Suite, this extension has that posibility but i have problem configuring the grep program despite having followed all the instructions found in their website and in the help files, :(. the structure is like this: document.tex mystyle.sty mybibliography.bib tex/file1.tex tex/file2.tex tex/... img/img1.png img/img2.png . . .

When I try to run it on XP the result is a bit different from the others. I was just wondering in order to execute QueueUserWorkItem properly do I need a dual CPU system? The XP I tried to test on had .Net 3.5 installed. Inputs most welcome.

  • Ideal Multi-Developer Lamp Stack?

    I would like to build an 'ideal' lamp development stack. Dual Server (Virtualised, ESX) Apache / PHP on one, Databases (MySQL, PgSQL, etc) on the other. User (Developer) Manageable mini environments, or instance. Each developer instance shares the top level config (available modules and default config etc) A developer should have control over their apache and php version for each project. A developer might be able to change minor settings, ie magicquotes on for legacy code. Each project would determine its database provider in its code The idea is that it is one administrate-able server that I can control, and provide globally configured things like APC, Memcached, XDebug etc. Then by moving into subsets for each project, i can allow my users to quickly control their environments for various projects. Essentially I'm proposing the typical system of a developer running their own stack on their own machine, but centralised. In this way I'd hope to avoid problems like Cross OS code problems, database inconsistencies, slightly different installs producing bugs etc. I'm happy to manage this in custom builds from source, but if at all possible it would be great to have a large portion of it managed with some sort of package management. We typically use CentOS, so yum? Has anyone ever built anything like this before? Is there something turnkey that is similar to what I have described? Are there any useful guides I should be reading in order to build something like this?

    Hello All, I want to have a controller that can handle multiple requests. Like a UserController handling all the addUser, deleteUser, updateUser and viewUser functionality. I know that MultiActionController can be used to bundle multiple similar request into one controller. But the functionalities like addUser and updateUser involves user to enter data, which the controller need to process. Can a MultiActionController handle doSubmit kind of methods (similar to SimpleFormController). Is there any better way to handle this kind of scenario? Thanks. Ravi

Interestingly in VB.NET, on the SKU property, I can specify either Implements ISkuItem.SKU or Implements ICartItem.SKU. Oddly, because C# only uses regions to block out inherited properties, it seems that I can't explicitly specify the implementing interface of SKU in C# like I can in VB.NET. My question is: Is there any importance behind being able to specify one interface or another to implement properites in VB.NET, and if so, is there a way to mimic this functionality in C#?
