  Which is the best way to manage a website with one or more mirrors so that: Google don't consider it as "dupicated content" The website is correctly indexed No inconsistencies or duplicated information are present in Google Analytics The Google webmaster guidelines in general are respected NOTE: I'm not sure if I should ask this question here or in ServerFault. • How do I sanitize LaTeX input?

  I'd like to take user input (sometimes this will be large paragraphs) and generate a LaTeX document. I'm considering a couple of simple regular expressions that replaces all instances of "\" with "\textbackslash " and all instances of "{" or "}" with "\}" or "\{". I doubt this is sufficient. What else do I need to do? Note: In case there is a special library made for this, I'm using python.

  Is there a way I can pick video using photo-picker-plus instead of a photo? When I check the media type using: NSString *mediaType = [info objectForKey: UIImagePickerControllerMediaType]; I always get public.image (even when I pick a video). On a related note, is there any other SDK similar to photo-picker-plus for picking video from different sources? UIImagePickerController could be an option. • The "Update" button in ArcFM Attribute Editor is disabled.

  I am not been able to update any of the attributes in one of my feature classes using the Arc FM Attribute editor, but I am able to update it thru the ESRI Attribute editor. • Turn a number into star rating display using jQuery and CSS

  I have been looking at jquery plugin and was wondering how to adapt that plugin to turn a number (like 4.8618164) into a 4.8618164 stars filled out of 5. Basically interpreting a number <5 into stars filled in a 5-star rating system using jQuery/JS/CSS. Note that this would only display/show the stars rating from an already available number and not accept new ratings submissions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  Hi, Similar to LocalServer32, which is used to specify the path to a 32Bit Local COM server, is there any registry entry for specifying the path to a 64Bit Local COM Server? If there is none, can we use LocalServer32 for 64Bit servers also? Note: In my knowledge there are only 2 registry entries - LocalServer and LocalServer32.   I have set up a SQL link server between an SQLserver 2005 on a W2003 R2 and a SYBASE 12.5.0.2 server on a IBM AIX H70 system. I use the Sybase ODBC driver 04.20.00.67 The problem is than most of the times (there is no pattern ) when I select rows from a Sybase table I get ONLY ONE ROW without any error. Please note that there is no problem when I insert rows from SQL server to the SYBASE server I appreciate any possible solutions...

  Hello, I'm using pthreads-win32 for portable threading support for windows. At least, according to the documentation pthreads-win32 should work with MSVC and even MSVC builds provided. But I don't know if the library is tested with latest MSVC compilers like MSVC-2008 and if it is supported under 64bit windows. Does anybody aware of any issues with this library? Note: Do not even try to recommend using Boost.Thread, I'm not interested in. And I'm familiar with Boost.Thread library
