    I need to be able to configure SPF rule for my domain. Problem is that I can normally receive all the emails. But when I send to some recipients they receive it as spam. In the mail failure delivery I always see SPF as neutral. How can I change this settings? I found a Microsoft tool program and I get something like this: v=spf1 a mx mx:mail.code2future.com +all Where do I insert this? I have cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1) Thank you

    Possible Duplicate: Prevent mail being marked as spam I have an Ubuntu server that I want to be able to send out several thousand emails each containing a generic header and an unique pdf attachment containing an invoice. What I want to know is what would be the best way to accomplish this? Also, are there any other programs I need to install such as anti-virus / verification tools? I would like to be able to know what the procedures for this normally are as I would prefer that the emails are not send to the junk folder of the clients receiving the emails. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks

  • How can I limit the amount of messages SendMail will recieve in a single incoming connection?

    Is there a way to limit how many messages can be received by SendMail in a given SMTP session? I have a SendMail server and an upstream application server is trying to send dozens (potentially hundreds) of messages to it in a single SMTP session (ehlo... mail from... rcpt to... data... rset... mail from... etc). This is causing resource strain on the box since the traffic isn't effectively load balanced. I'd like to implement a policy to have sendmail only allow up to X number of messages in a given SMTP session after which it will require the remote host to reconnect again. I noticed that there's a confCONNECTION_RATE_THROTTLE option but that seems to protect more against multiple connections occurring at once - not a single connection sending a bunch of emails.

  • How can I force mail clients like Outlook or Thunderbird to load SSL images with invalid certificate?

    Essentially, we only encounter this issue with our testing environments, where we send mail that contains HTTPS links that point to test servers with self-signed SSL certificates. In a browser I can select to accept the certificate. Is there something similar for mail clients like Thunderbird or Outlook that I can use? Currently, we don't see any images in our test mail, which greatly confuses the UAT team.

The user can subscribe to multiple events generated by the application and can choose to receive the messages associated with those events via multiple channels (email, sms, growl?, messenger); perhaps different messages through different channels; perhaps a daily message digest. Everything must be configurable by the user. Is there some framework that deals with this?

  • Microsoft Entrourage: rendering hyperlinks?

    When we send emails from my project, we send in both text/plain and text/html formats. All major clients (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, thunderbird, outlook) correctly display the simple HTML that we are using. However, Entourage renders all tags EXCEPT hyperlinks. What is confusing is that emails from other domains render hyperlinks correctly in Entourage. We have tried comparing the source / headers of our emails with others emails that seem to "work" and don't see any obvious differences. I googled around this issue and the only thing I could find what that Entourage doesn't allow users to insert hyperlinks when composing a message. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

  • Why are emails sent from my applications being marked as spam?

    Hi. I have 2 web apps running on the same server. The first is www.nimikri.com and the other is www.hourjar.com. Both apps share the same IP address (75.127.100.175). My server is through a shared hosting company. I've been testing my apps, and at first all my emails were being delivered to me just fine. Then a few days ago every email from both apps got dumped into my spam box (in gmail and google apps). So far the apps have just been sending emails to me and nobody else, so I know people aren't manually flagging them as spam. I did a reverse DNS lookup for my IP and the results I got were these: 100.127.75.in-addr.arpa NS DNS2.GNAX.NET. 100.127.75.in-addr.arpa NS DNS1.GNAX.NET. Should the reverse DNS lookup point to nimikri.com and hourjar.com, or are they set up fine the way they are? I noticed in the email header these 2 lines: Received: from nimikri.nimikri.com From: Hour Jar <[email protected]> Would the different domain names be causing gmail to think this is spam?     Hi, i'm working on a simple mail list app in PHP using Zend Mail. The idea is that all mail that bounce is redirected to a script which processes them and a report is generated. The script is running ok in direct tests, but I've testing it with fake mail address to test the mail list app, and it appears that the mail is not being redirected to the correct email address. Zend Mail provides the setReturnPath method to set the "Return-Path" header, it's ok to use this header for this purpose? Thanks

One supporter on "StackOverflow" gave me this three-step plan: Simulate normal login and save login page that you get; Save POST&GET headers with "Wireshark"; Compare login page with those headers and see what fields you need to include with your request; The problem here is that I have never used "Wireshark" before.     I've implemented IAlertUpdateHandler interface in a class and used it for handling creation and updating of alerts. The code is fired but it goes into endless loop by calling itself again and again. Actually I want to suppress email notification so I'm calling a.Update(false); but this again calls PreUpdate or PostUpdate method and there is StackOverFlowException :( I've tried returning true/false from both the methods but nothing is helping.

    When you attach a file to an e-mail using the ACTION_SEND intent (with the extra EXTRA_STREAM) does the e-mail app copy that attached file to its own location? My app creates a file and attaches it to an email, but this can happen many times and I would like to be able to delete this file when it is no longer needed (so it doesn't flood the user's storage with junk data). Is the file safe to delete after the e-mail intent has started?

    I need to be able to make a program that looks through a mailbox of bounced messages, where the messages come back with the initial message in a .msg attachment, and open the .msg attachment for processing in ASP.NET 2.0. Is there any sort of code that might help in this? I've been looking at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/44383/reading-email-using-pop3-in-c as a starting point, but can't figure out how best to open the attachment from there, or if there's some easier way I'm missing.

I'm using the following code to generate section headers: -(NSString*)tableView:(UITableView*)tableView titleForHeaderInSection:(NSInteger)section { if (section == 0) { NSString *header = @"Header 1"; return header; } if (section == 1) { NSString *header = @"Header 2"; return header; } else { NSString *header = @"Header 3"; return header; } } When my table is displayed, there are two headers for each section - one with white text on a gray bar that stretches across the screen (like the letter separators in the Contacts app), and one in gray text on the table background (which is the one I want). Both headers have identical text. Where is the first header coming from?
