  I'm looking for a way for a function to take actions based on how long it has been executing. For example, my function would loop continuously until 5 seconds has elapsed, in which case it returns immediately. Any suggestions?

  Hello guys, I would like to ask what is the ideal folder structure for a MVC framework that should be able to support multiple installations. For example, I install xyz framework and i run two or more sites based on this single installation of xyz framework rather than installing the framework for each site. This is probably done in Codeigniter too but i don't know much about CodeIgniter, so i need your suggestions. I know some of you might even have better idea than what is done by CodeIgniter, so please share.

• Be notified of method calls in .NET

  Basically, what I want to do is to be notified whenever a specific method has been called. I was hoping I could accomplish this using Reflection, but my attempts haven't gotten me anywhere yet, so I'm hoping that perhaps somebody else with the same need has accomplished this before and can enlighten me. I figured using MethodInfo was the way to go, but like I said, I found nothing there that could help me accomplish what I wanted to do. Any suggestions, hints or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

• Using IF LARGE when there is text in column

  I have an excel column of numbers and texts. I tried to use "IF LARGE" to find top 3 numbers of the column (A1 to A7), and return "Yes" to the cells right next to the top 3 (in column B). But unfortunately, the cells next to the texts also returned "Yes". This is the data: 0.2 0.3 Yes 0.5 Yes 0.1 0.8 Yes asdf Yes jklm Yes This is the code for cell B7: =IF(A7>=LARGE($A$1:$A$7,3),"Yes","") Any suggestions to fix this? thanks in advance

  I have a shared site in sharepoint and have some RSS feed webpart in it so now everytime my site opens up it shows this popup. I know I can remove the popup by going to IE options and stuff but my question is if there is any way that i can remove it permanently because I can't tell my users to follow this process but I have lot of complaints because of this popup.   Please see code snippet: File[] additionalFiles = new File(FILE_PATH).listFiles(); boolean isDirectory = file.isDirectory(); I have verified that the directory path is correct, and when I run the code on Windows, the value of isDirectory is true (as it should be).   I'm trying to avoid using an in memory database for testing (though I might have to do this if the following is impossible). I'm using NHibernate 3.0 with LINQ. I'd like to be able to mock session.Query<T>() to return some dummy values but I can't since it's an extension method and these are pretty much impossible to test. Does anyone have any suggestions (other than using an in memory database) for testing session queries with LINQ?
