What can i use to make multiple tabs that run multiple forms in my visual C# program. I need it to work like an internet browser so you can switch back and forth..
I'm trying to get a picture like the following:

What am I doing wrong?
[x,y]=meshgrid(-1:.1:1,-1:.1:1);
surf(x,y,(2*besselj(1,2*pi*sqrt(x.^2+ y.^2)/sqrt(x.^2+ y.^2)).^2)
Also... kind of a side note, but if I used ndgrid instead of meshgrid here my x's and y's would switch right?
I would like to hook a character typed in an input text field and type '1' in the field in case 'a' was pressed.
Here is the code:
<html>
function translate_code(charCode) {
switch (charCode) {
case 65: //
return '1' ;
case 97:
return '9';
}
}
function noEnglish(event) {
if (event.charCode) {
var charCode = event.charCode;
} else {
var charCode = event.keyCode;
}
if (65
i am a fairly new iOS programmer, and I've lately been having trouble with my multi view app. Im using a paged based application with two view. I just don't seem to be able to make an IBAction that allows me to switch between each view. i tried using:
[self presentModalViewController: SecondViewController animated: YES];
but i keep getting an error that says:
"use of undeclared identifier 'SecondViewController'
When I load up my MFC C++ app in VS2005, the IDE always defaults to the command window. How do I make it switch to the Output or Immediate windows by default?
I have a client request that all times be displayed in Pacific Time Zone, regardless of client settings. I'd like to avoid a scenario where I have to call a function for every time display and instead have a single point where I can make the switch.
I'm thinking a custom culture might do the trick, but I wanted to ask before I set off down a potentially blind alley (or miss something trivially easy).
I'm running on an OS X environment and would like to create a flexible web development environment locally... including the option to run on an Nginx server for my PHP-based application.
At the end of the day (or, development cycle), I'd like to be able to hit a switch and have it all sync over to Amazon AWS hosting (EC2, S3) - instances, databases, files, configurations, and all.
Are there any simple ways to do this?
I currently have a SQL Server 2008 database in which I am planning to separate out some tables to other databases. I want to be able to replace all references to the separated tables from the original database using views. Is there a better way (other than manually changing all FK and SProc references) to switch all the dependencies to reference the view instead of the table?
Currently, for things like background images, our css files have no domain specified. This works both in our development and production environments.
background-image: url(/images/bg.png);
For performance reasons (cookie-less domain), we'd like to switch this:
background-image: url(http://staticimagedomain.com/images/bg.png);
Ideally, we don't hard code those, so our development environments can still pull locally.
Any thoughts on how to best achieve this?
I have added some nullable value types to my serializable class. I perform a serialization using XmlSerializer but when the value is set to null, I get an empty node with xsi:nil="true". This is the correct behaviour as I have found here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ybce7f69%28VS.80%29.aspx
Is there a way to switch off this option so that nothing is output when the value type is null?
I have setup my models and now I would like to build the application so that I can easly switch between swing views and html views (2 differents builds).
Could you recommand me any library that let me do that ? or a Controller/View architecture that let me do that myself ?
i would like to ask about some Notepad++ feature that i couldn't find in netbeans. And this feature is somehow really helpful. It's called 'function list' created by Jens Lorenz.
this feature will list all of declared function in a PHP files. So, is there any subtitute plugin that i can use to smooth my migration from Notepad++ to Netbeans ?
the main reason i switch is for svn, Phpdoc-support, and easiness maintaining medium-size web project.
I had limited success myself. I was able to hype a few persons about Scala.
But in fact none of them made a meaningful effort to try to switch (usually from Java).
I would like to read both success and failure stories here.
Both long tries and short ones.
My goal is to find ways of presenting Scala to another person, friend, co-worker (not an audience) that will make them want to use this great language.
I've searched through the web and what I've found out is this:
To make the compiler warn you of the details of which methods you used that were deprecated use the javac.exe -deprecation switch. Then look in the Javadoc for the deprecated methods to find out the recommended replacements. Sometimes you just have to rename. Sometimes the replacements work quite differently.
But I'm not really understand how it works, can anybody help me with this?
I cannot understand why my MKMapView does not want to change to satellite view. This method is called and case 1 is called I have stepped over it but it simply does not change to satellite type it always changes to standard. It only works when it goes back to Map type. Anyone have any ideas?
- (IBAction)mapSatelliteSegmentControlTapped:(UISegmentedControl *)sender
{
switch (sender.selectedSegmentIndex)
{
case 1: //Satellite
self.mapView.mapType = MKMapTypeSatellite;
default: //Map
self.mapView.mapType = MKMapTypeStandard;
}
}
I am in the process of knowing Mercurial versioning system better, and I am considering convert from SVN.
Anyone already converted? Was that difficult for you and your team to switch?
Can you give any advice to stay with SVN or go for Mercurial?
Thanks
Why does the following code fail to compile while changing the case statement to
case ENUM1: doSomeStuff();
works?
public enum EnumType
{
ENUM1, ENUM2, ENUM3;
void doSomeStuff()
{
switch(this)
{
case EnumType.ENUM1: doSomeStuff();
}
}
}
In the middle of a scrip, I want to check if a given flag was passed on the command line. The following does what I want but seems ugly:
if echo $* | grep -e "--flag" -q
then
echo ">>>> Running with flag"
else
echo ">>>> Running without flag"
fi
Is there a better way?
Note: I explicitly don't want to list all the flags in a switch/getopt. (And BTW the bodies of the if just set a set of vars)
I have 2 panels, the first one is the menu, and the second is the application main panel. Firstly the menu panel shows up, than i need to switch to the other panel if a specific button is pressed on the menu (the menu is hidden but the app returns to it after running is completed). && i need to resize the frame too if it's possible.
can i do this somehow?
Hi, I am an Estimation professional basically from Manufacturing company, Is there any scope to switch over my career to SAP by means of my 8 years experience in manufacturing?
Hi all,
I switch between my iMac and MacBook when working on my apps. I've always used my iMac to test the apps on the actual device, but I would like to be able to do this from both computers. I cannot seem to use the profile on my MacBook as it does not have the correct Certificate Signing Request in the KeyChain. Is there a way to copy these between machines and KeyChains?
:)
hi,
I'm having a problem with a simple program I wrote, I want to perform a certain function according to the users input. I've already used a dictionary as a replacement for a switch to do assignment but when I try to assign functions to the dictionary it doesn't execute them...
The code:
def PrintValuesArea():
## do this
def PrintValuesLength():
## do that
def PrintValuesTime():
## do third
PrintTables={"a":PrintValuesArea,"l":PrintValuesLength,"t":PrintValuesTime}
PrintTables.get(ans.lower()) ## ans is the user input
what did I do wrong? It looks the same as all the examples I've seen....
I have created a function that has as input a char szMyChar; (using it in a switch statement).
Now I have a CString havong just a char, lets say CString strString = "A";
An option to call the function could be:
if (strString == "A")
CallMyFunc('A');
though it is clumsy. I tried atoi (returns 0) and casting though neither works.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Sun
I need to figure out the operating system my program is running on during runtime.
I'm using Qt 4.6.2, MinGW and Eclipse with CDT. My program shall run a command-line QProcess on Windows or Linux. Now I need a kind of switch to run the different code depending on the operating system.
Thx
