  • jQuery in Opera User JS Doesn't Work

    Hello ::- ). I'm playing with some Opera User JS. I included "1jquery.min.js" in my User JS folder (1 in front because Opera loads them alphabetically). Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be working. window.onload = OnWindowLoad; $(document).ready(function() { alert ($('#area_19')); }); function OnWindowLoad () { alert ($('#area_19')); alert(document.getElementById("area_19")); } What's interesting about this code is that the first two alerts come back in NULL, but the last one does find the object! So the element definitely exists in the page, but my jQuery seems unable to get it. What's even stranger is that the jQuery "ready" function works, indicating that I do have jQuery capability. I'm quite puzzled about all this ::- /. Hopefully somebody can give me a clue ::- ).

So, what is wrong? IMO TShape.Paint checks private value like FShape in case section and then decides what to draw. When inherited Paint method is called in my code it checks FShape value sees default 0 value [stRectangle] in there and draws it. PS: I did solve it with blackmagic way using Shape1 property instead of Shape one and if Shape1 value is not stPolygon or stStar i do like this: begin Shape := TShapeType(Shape1); inherited end; But this option is not really an option.     hi. i have been troubled about audio problem for several days. i don't think OpenAL get along with AVAudio functions. i have my own OpenAL class. ( wrapped the MyOpenAL class ) my app start to record using AVAudioRecorder. i stop recording. and then i clicked the "OpenAL Play"button that play any sound using OpenAL. i can't hear it. but i can hear my recording when i clicked the "AVAudioPlayer Play" button using AVAudioPlayer. i tested oalTouch,avTouch,SpeakHear sample code. they resulted same. Does OpenAL have the problem using AVAudio~ Functions together? I was googling for a long time. but i couln't find out the solutions and the same problems issue. thanks for reading mine.

    Hello everyone: This is a CSS related question, I got one good answer from my previous question, which suggested to use some CSS code like overflow:auto together with a fixed height container. And here is my actual implementation : on uni server Please follow the instructions on screen and buy more than 4 kinds of tickets. If you are using IE8, Opera, Safari, Chrome, you would notice that the lower right corner of the page now has a vertical scroll bar, which scrolls the content inside it and prevent it from overflowing. That's what I want to have in this section. Now the problem is, this would not do in FireFox 3.6.2. Am I doing something not compliant to the CSS standard or FireFox has its own way of overflow control? You can inspect the elements on screen, and all controlling functions are done in one javascript using jQuery. All CSS code are kept in a separated file as well. According to the professor, FireFox would be the target browser, although the version was set to 2.0...

    Hi everyone! I need to translate colors in bitmap loaded to BufferedImage from RGB to YCbCr (luminance and 2 channels chrominance) and back after process. I made it with functions used like rgb2ycbcr() in main method for each pixel, but it isn't so smart solution. I should use ColorSpace and ColorModel classes to get BufferedImage with correct color space. It would be more flexible method, but I don't know how to do that. I'm lost and I need some tips.     I want to use a GPL'd library in my C# application, but not necessarily release my own code under the GPL. If I understand correctly linking against a GPL'd library using dynamic linking and not distributing the library in question means I can license my own app in any way I want (the users of my software would then be required to install the library themselves). Please correct me if I'm wrong. My question is: how can I link against a DLL this way in C#? Do I only need to use C#'s using directive and add the DLL as a reference to the compiler? Is the distribution of the resulting bytecode legal?

    So the method below in class_eval dynamically creates accessors for attributes defined at runtime. It can be used, for example, to create configuration objects with attributes read from a config file (and unknown until runtime). I understanding all of it except for the else branch. If I am correct the else branch returns the attribute value (val[0]) if there is one value passed in *val. However the way its written I would expect it to return an array (val) if there is more then one value passed in *var. In particular, if I have something like the following: value = 5 then from reading the code I would expect "#{@value}" to be [=,5]. However "#{@value}" returns 5 and not the array [=,5].     Hi I have the following PHP code doing a very simple select into a table. $statement = $db->prepare("SELECT * FROM account WHERE fbid = :fbid"); $statement->bindParam(":fbid",$uid, PDO::PARAM_STR,45); $out = $statement->execute(); $row = $statement->fetch(); $out is true (success) yet $row is null. If I modify the code as follows: $statement = $db->prepare("SELECT * FROM account WHERE fbid = $uid"); $out = $statement->execute(); $row = $statement->fetch(); $row contains the record I'm expecting. I'm at a loss. I'm using the PDO::prepare(), bindParams() etc to protect against SQL Injection (maybe I'm mistaken on that). Please halp.

"B-tree" concept here refers to a "tree of storage units" that hold the contents of an individual directory. What I don't understand is where on the disk is this tree stored? Its surely not created every-time we reboot...that would take lots of time. and since its a tree(dynamic Data structure) unlike arrays it will grow. so space needs to be allocated every-time it grows. so how is this "dynamic meta-data" stored ?

Once I make the call to open(), does execution continue directly below the open() and another "thread" enters the asynch function once the ajax request has been completed? Or, does the browser wait for the request to complete, make the Asynch call, and then execution continues right after the open? Thanks!

  • NSMutableDictionary memory / address problem, release does not work?

    I am trying to create a NSMutableDictionary(dictA) with objectA. When I try to view my dictionary(NSLog), each key is pointing to the same address. I have an objectA_1 which is type objectA and used to setup the dictionary. Also, if I try to getObject, I always get the last key/value that was added to the dictionary. I tried setValue and got the same results. Is there something wrong with my objectA? Is the release method not working properly? Am I retaining when I shouldn't? When saving the object of MyClass it generates the following SQL query: select nextval('my_table_id_seq') So there is no schema prefix and therefore the sequence cannot be found. When I write the sequenceName like sequenceName = "my_schema.my_table_id_seq" everything works. Do I have misunderstandings for meaning of schema parameter or is it a bug? Any ideas how to make schema parameter working?

  • Javascript : Submitting a form outside the actual form doesn't work

    Hello all, I'm trying to achieve a fairly easy triggering mechanism for deleting multiple items from a tablegrid. If a user has enough access he/she is able to delete multiple users from a table. In the table I have set up checkboxes, one per row/user. The name of the checkboxes is UsersToDeletep[], and the value per row is the unique UserID. When a user clicks the button 'Delete selected users' a simple validation takes place to make sure at least one checkbox is selected. After that I call my simple function Submit(form). The function works perfectly when called within the form-tags, where I also use it to delete a single user. The function: function Submit(form) { document.forms[form].submit(); } I've also alerted document.forms[form]. The result is, as expected [object HTMLFormElement]. But for some reason the form just won't submit and a pagereload takes place. I'm a bit confused and can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
