    Hi does anyone know where I can download iPhone sdk 2.0 and 2.2.1 . I upgraded to the latest version of the sdk (3.1.2) and it broke my application. In the 3.1.2 installer it gave option to install the 2.2 sdk but it doesn't show up as an option in xcode when I try to execute my app. The earliest version it will show me is 2.2.1 Thanks, Joe

    Hi everybody, i'm testing my website and is waorking fine on every browser, except for the iphone browser (i think it's safari mobile?) that renders a piece of text with a bigger font that the rest. I've checked the CSS by hands and using firebug on the page and i can confirm i've put the same size to all of them. How do i fix this? XCode 3 provides templates for both static libraries and unit tests but I am wondering how they should fit together in a static library project? In my static library project I have created a target for unit testing but expect to also create an executable to kick off the unit tests than run against the classes in the static library. What is the procedure for doing this?

Is there anything else i have to add to it to make it appear on the Lock Screen as well?

  • Tiling solution for the iPhone that can handle infinite # of tiles

    I have been looking at ways to implement a tiling solution on the iPhone/iPad similar to something like Google Maps. I have looked at examples of how to implement a CATiledLayer into a view that is inside a UIScrollView. Then when you scroll the view, the tiles request the new data to be shown. However, this seems to work when you have a finite view size (ie: 3000x3000). However, how could I work this into a tiling solution for much larger sizes. Basically, I want to be able to show data as needed for tiles as large as I can. Can I somehow use CATiledLayer to do this? Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello, I added ffmpeg iphone port into my library and I can able to use a few of its functions like avcodec_init(),.. without any errors. But when I include this function call "avcodec_register_all" Xcode is giving error after compilation The error message is : *--------------- ld: ldr 12-bit displacement out of range (4276 max +/-4096) in _CFRelease$stub in _CFRelease$stub from /Users/foxit/Documents/CameraTest/build/CameraTest.build/Debug-iphoneos/CameraTest.build/Objects-normal/armv6/CameraTest Command /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin/gcc-4.2 failed with exit code 1 *------------- Does anyone know whats wrong with this ?
