  I want to redirect a praticular subdomain to the main domain http(s)://dl.example.com/par1/par2 to http(s)://www.example.com/par1/par2 How to achieve the above using .htaccess Why i want to do this: Whenever any user download a file from my server, if the file is huge , then user cannot do any other operation until the file is downloaded completely...so the solution that i have thought is to forward the download request through subdomain so that the browser may continue with rest of the operation. Is there a way to get the favourite count other than calling users/show, and accessing the property this way? My concern is, that when my server responds to a request, it could end up tying up resources if the client side is too slow in sending back "ok" response. How do I send a POST request via lib_curl setting it to not wait for any responses, but rather quit immidiately after the POST data have been sent? Is this even possible? Thank you !

  Hi I am trying to acess a wcf service from a jQuery client Specifically this example http://www.codeproject.com/KB/aspnet/WCF_JQUERY_ASMX.aspx#4 All works well when the client webpage is on the same domain as the service As soon as I move the client webpage to another domain it breaks. It cant reach the service and the request fails This happens for all the examples, ASMX, REST and WCF any ideas how to get this working cross daomain?
