• How are neural networks used when the number of inputs could be variable?

  All the examples I have seen of neural networks are for a fixed set of inputs which works good for images and fixed length data. How do you deal with variable length data such sentances, queries or source code. Is there a way to encode variable length data into fixed length inputs and still get the generalization properties of neural networks? Thanks

Meaning, it seems like a place to store variables. Is there any practical use of Tuple. What I like to do is to pass in a value to the tuple and then have it return back 3 values which are all strings.

  Hi, I'm just starting to use the TestHelpers in MvcContrib. I want to try and test an action method on my controller that itself tests if IsAjaxRequest() is true. I've used the same code that is shown in the TestHelper samples to set up the TestControllerBuilder _controller = new StarsController(); _builder = new TestControllerBuilder(); _builder.InitializeController(_controller); So that _controller has all the faked/mocked HttpContext inside it, which is really great. But what do I do now to force IsAjaxRequest() on the internally faked Request object to return true?

  I have data of variable lengths (reaching movements recorded in 2D) and want to create a function that will resample this data to a uniform length (500 samples). However, I want matlab to only resample between the maximum and minimum values given, without adding any additional distance. For instance, if I resample the matrix [1:1:10], the resampled matrix should have a minimum value of 1 and a maximum value of 10. So far I've tried the following: x = [1:1:10]; interp(x, 500 / length(x)); This, however, gives values above my maximum specified value of 10. Is there any way I can get matlab to resample/interpolate solely between two points, without extending beyond them?

  I'm using LiveValidaion for my clientside validation http://livevalidation.com/ and DataAnnotations for my validation rules. This all works fine except that the clientside error messages are only ever displayed to the right of the element being validated. Is it possible to move this validation message below the element being validated? Or even better, group all messages in a div at the top/bottom of the page? I dont see anything in their docs or examples

  Hey, Say i set my log4net logger's minLevel and maxLevel to FATAL and DEBUG respectively, but under some scenario i want to mute the log-items written in the WARN level, and keep all the other levels in the range active. Is it possible to somehow use 'discrete' levels of log-levels rather than specifying a range using minLevel and maxLevel? The problem is, whenever I creates a new project and try to put more than one file that contains a main function, the linker (as I thougt0 explains saying: /home/mohammed/tmp/abcd/main.c:4: multiple definition of `main' (BTW, I used many IDEs, MonoDevelop, QT creator, VS2010, Codebloks, ...) I am currently uses QT Creator, It seems to be a very nice IDE. So, there's not a workaround to solve such problem??
