First they were provided with some facts about Oracle, then Philipp went into detail and took them through current IT challenges like ‘Social’, ‘Mobile’, ‘Information’ and ‘Cloud’ and how Oracle solutions can help facing these challenges. He also demonstrated what kind of prerequisites and qualifications are required to become a successful Sales person. When talking about his own career, the audience got even more anxious to hear what he would tell them.     Hello Experts !! I've built a wpf windows application in with there is a registration form. Using IDataErrorInfo i could successfully bind the field to a class property and with the help of styles display meaningful information about the error to users.About the submit button i use the MultiDataTrigger with conditions (Based on a post here on stackoverflow).All went well. Now i need to do the same for the passwordbox and apparently it's not as straight forward.I found on wpftutorial an article and gave it a try but for some reason it wasn't working. i've tried another one from functionalfun.   • Resizing Images In a Table Using JavaScript

    Hey, all. I apologize beforehand if none of this makes sense, or if I sound incompetent... I've been making webpages for a while, but don't know any JavaScript. I am trying to make a webpage for a friend, and he requested if I could write some code to resize the images in the page based on the user's screen resolution. I did some research on this question, and it's kind of similar to this, this, and this. Unfortunately, those articles didn't answer my question entirely because none of the methods described worked. Right now, I have a three-column webpage with 10 images in a table in the left sidebar, and when I use percentages for their sizes, they don't resize right between monitors. As such, I'm trying to write a JavaScript function that changes their sizes after detecting the screen resolution. The code is stripped from my post if I put it all, so I'll just say that each image links to a website and uses a separate image to change color when you hover over it. Would I have to address both images to change their sizes correctly? I use a JavaScript function to switch between them. Anyway, I tried both methods in this article and neither worked for me. If it helps, I'm using Google Chrome, but I'm trying to make this page as cross-browser as possible. I have a fixed table setting in pixels instead of percentages, so I don't understand why this is an issue. I want the text in the cells to stay in the same position when zooming. The code must be manipulated from the code behind, so I cannot create a separate CSS file. Any help is appreciated. Here are two examples to illustrate what I'm talking about: Normal zoom at 100%: Zoom at 75%: Notice in the second image the two table cells at the bottom are slightly offset to the left. UPDATE: Yes, I understand, we will be implementing a new system in the near future. Obviously this is old and very non-standard, this was dropped in my lap when I started working with it. And we're coming up with plans for a new system to replace it, in the meantime, this is what I have to deal with.

  • Is there a problem with scrollTop in Chrome?

    I am setting scrollTop and scrollLeft for a div that I am working with. The code looks like this: div.scrollLeft = content.cx*scalar - parseInt(div.style.width)/2; div.scrollTop = content.cy*scalar - parseInt(div.style.height)/2; This works just fine in FF, but only scrollLeft works in chrome. As you can see, the two use almost identical equations and as it works in FF I am just wondering if this is a problem with Chrome?     I have an expander with a list box in it that displays image thumbnails. I want the images to be sized according to the size of the listbox and the list box to be sized based on the width of the expander. When I expand the expander I want the list box and the images to resize also.   • Make Python Socket Server More Efficient

    I have very little experience working with sockets and multithreaded programming so to learn more I decided to see if I could hack together a little python socket server to power a chat room. I ended up getting it working pretty well but then I noticed my server's CPU usage spiked up over 100% when I had it running in the background.
