• Validate xsl fo in xslt styleesheet

  Hi, i have a little problem with validating xml, xslt in details. I have a xslt stylesheet that, transforms xml data source to xsl:fo document. Is it posible? For now I use dtd validation (I have xsd schema too) for validating Fo, but it give me an error on each xsl tag. Summary. Is it posiible to validate only fo elements against the schema, ignoring xsl tags, and how should I do it? Maybe a code snnippet in C#, or a hint how to modify documents? Thanks in advance!

• Build path issues learning Guice

  I can't figure out why I'm getting this error below I have included all the appropriate jars as far as I can tell(I have included eclipses .classpath file below.) All of the classpath entries resolve just fine. What am I missing? The type javax.servlet.ServletContextListener cannot be resolved. • Where to put default-servlet-handler in Spring MVC configuration

  In my web.xml, the default servlet mapping, i.e. /, is mapped to Spring dispatcher. In my Spring dispatcher configuration, I have DefaultAnnotationHandlerMapping, ControllerClassNameHandlerMapping and AnnotationMethodHandlerAdapter which allows me to map url to controllers either by its class name or its @Requestmapping annotation. However, there are some static resources under the web root which I also want spring dispatcher to serve using default servlet. According to Spring documentation, this can be done using <mvc:default-servlet-handler/> tag. In the configuration below, there are 4 candidate locations that I marked which are possible to insert this tag. Inserting the tag in different location causes the dispatcher to behave differently as following : Case 1 : If I insert it at location 1, the dispatcher will no longer be able to handle mapping by the @RequestMapping and controller class name but it will be serving the static content normally. Cas 2, 3 : It will be able to handle mapping by the @RequestMapping and controller class name as well as serving the static content if other mapping cannot be done successfully. Case 4 : It will not be able to serve the static contents. • XmlDataProvider and XPath bindings don't allow default namespace of XML data?

  I am struggling to work out how to use default namespaces with XmlDataProvider and XPath bindings. There's an ugly answer using local-name <Binding XPath="*[local-name()='Name']" /> but that is not acceptable to the client who wants this XAML to be highly maintainable. The fallback is to force them to use non-default namespaces in the report XML but that is an undesirable solution. The XML report file looks like the following.   Hi. After spending SEVERAL frustrated hours on this I am asking for your help. I am trying to get the content of particular nodes from a SOAP response. It seems that the line $XmlArray = new SimpleXMLElement($XmlStr); is not doing what I expect it to. Any help on how to get the nodes from the XML above would be very welcome. Obviously getting it to work (having a working example) is what I need in the short term, but if someone could help me understand what I am doing wrong would be better in the long term. Cheers. Stu

  I'm writing an iPhone app with a UIWebView which should display various html files I have in the app resource folder. In xcode my project overview, these html files are displayed like this: dirA |---> index.html |---> a1.html |---> a2.html |---> my.css |---> dirB |---> b1.html |---> b2.html |---> dirC |---> c1.html |---> c2.html These resources where added to the project as such: - Checked "Copy items into destination groups folder (if needed)". - Reference type: Default. - Text encoding: Unicode (utf-8). - Recursively create groups for any added folders. The links in my html are relative, meaning they look like this: <a href="a1.html">a2</a> <a href="a2.html">a2</a> <a href="dirB/b2.html">b2</a> <a href="dirC/c1.html">b2</a> In order to display the index.html when the app starts up, I use the following code: NSString *path = [[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"index" ofType:@"html"]; NSURL *url = [NSURL fileURLWithPath:path]; NSURLRequest *request = [NSURLRequest requestWithURL:url]; [webView loadRequest:request]; This works fine. Following links from the index file also works fine, as long as the html files requested are directly under dirA. If the link followed points to a file in a sub-directory, then didFailLoadWithError will catch the situation and report that the requested file does not exist. Note that [webView loadHtmlString:myHtml]; cannot be part of the solution, as I need back and forward buttons to work in my web view. So the question is: How can I follow a relative link to an html file in a sub directory within my resources? I've been all over stackoverflow and the rest of the tubes for the past few days trying to figure this one out, but nowhere have I come across the solution to this exact problem. Any insight at all would be very, very much appreciated!

• How to split xml to header and items using smooks?

  I have a xml file roughly like this: <batch> <header> <headerStuff /> </header> <contents> <timestamp /> <invoices> <invoice> <invoiceStuff /> </invoice> <!-- Insert 1000 invoice elements here --> </invoices> </contents> </batch> I would like to split that file to 1000 files with the same headerStuff and only one invoice. Smooks documentation is very proud of the possibilities of transformations, but unfortunately I don't want to do those. The only way I've figured how to do this is to repeat the whole structure in freemarker. But that feels like repeating the structure unnecessarily. The header has like 30 different tags so there would be lots of work involved also. It's all set to run on IE-7 standards mode (I'm targeting IE7 and above). I know about the separate z-stacks of IE, so by default the third DIV should be beneath the second DIV. To fix this problem there is some Javascript which sets the z-orders of first and third DIV to 1000, and the z-order of the second DIV to 999. Unfortunately this does not help. If the z-indexes were set in markup, this would work, but why not from JS? Note: This problem does not exist in IE8 standards mode, but I'm targetting IE7, so I can't rely on that. Also, if you save this to your hard drive and then open it up, at first IE complains something about ActiveX and stuff. After you wave it away, everything works as expected. But if you refresh the page, the problem is there again.
