  • Can not parse table information from html document.

    I am parsing many html documents.I am using html agility pack And I want to parse the tabular information from each document. And there may be any number of tables in each document.But I want to extract only one table from each document which has column header name NAME,PHONE NO,ADDRESS.And this table can be anywhere in the document,like in the document there is ten tables and from ten table there is one table which has many nested tables and from nested table there may be a table what I want to extract means table can be anywhere in the document and I want to find that table from the document by column header name.If I got that table then I want to then extract the information from that table. Now I can find the table which has column header NAME,PHONE NO,ADDRESS and also can extract the information from that.I am doing for that is, first I find the all tables in a document by foreach (var table in doc.DocumentNode.Descendants("table")) then for each table got I find the row for each table like, var rows = table.Descendants("tr"); and then for each row I am checking that row has that header name NAME,ADDRESS,PHONENO and if it is then I skip that row and extract all information after that row foreach (var row in rows.Skip(rowNo)) { var data = new List<string>(); foreach (var column in row.Descendants("td")) { data.Add(properText); } } Such that I am extracting all information from almost many document. But now problem is sometimes what happened that in some document I can not parse the information.Like a document in which there are like 10 tables and from these 10 tables 1 table is like there are many nested tables in that table. And from these nested tables I want to find the table which tabel has column header like NAME,ADDRESS,PHONE NO.So if table may be anywhere in the document even in the nested tables or anywhere it can be find through column header name.So I can parse the information from that table and skip the outer tabular information from that table.

  • Corrupted Views when migrating document libraries from SharePoint 2003 to 2007

    A coworker of mine ran into this error recently, while migrating a document library from SharePoint 2003 to 2007: “A WebPartZone can only exist on a page which contains a SPWebPartManager. The SPWebPartManager must be placed before any WebPartZones on the page.” He saw this when he tried to see the All Documents view for the library. After looking into it, we figured out what had happened.  He was migrating documents using the Explorer View in SharePoint.  He had copied the contents of the library from one server (a remote server that we didn’t have administrative access to) to his desktop.  He then opened an Explorer View of the new library and copied the files to it.  Well, it turns out he had copied the hidden “Forms” folder, which contained the files necessary to display the different views for the library. (He had set his explorer to show hidden files, which made them visible.) So, he had copied the 2003 forms to the 2007 library, which are incompatible. We fixed it, by simply deleting the new document library, recreating it, and then copied everything except that hidden Forms folder.  Another option might have been to create a new document library on 2007, and copy the Forms folder from it to the broken library.  Since we didn’t need to save anything in the broken BTW, I confirmed my suspicion with this blog post: http://palmettotq.com/blog/?p=54

  • SharePoint 2010 Hosting :: Setting Default Column Values on a Folder Programmatically

    The reason I write this post today is because my initial searches on the Internet provided me with nothing on the topic.  I was hoping to find a reference to the SDK but I didn’t have any luck.  What I want to do is set a default column value on an existing folder so that new items in that folder automatically inherit that value.  It’s actually pretty easy to do once you know what the class is called in the API.  I did some digging and discovered that class is MetadataDefaults. It can be found in Microsoft.Office.DocumentManagement.dll.  Note: if you can’t find it in the GAC, this DLL is in the 14/CONFIG/BIN folder and not the 14/ISAPI folder.  Add a reference to this DLL in your project.  In my case, I am building a console application, but you might put this in an event receiver or workflow. In my example today, I have simple custom folder and document content types.  I have one shared site column called DocumentType.  I have a document library which each of these content types registered.  In my document library, I have a folder named Test and I want to set its default column values using code.  Here is what it looks like.  Start by getting a reference to the list in question.  This assumes you already have a SPWeb object.  In my case I have created it and it is called site. SPList customDocumentLibrary = site.Lists["CustomDocuments"]; You then pass the SPList object to the MetadataDefaults constructor. MetadataDefaults columnDefaults = new MetadataDefaults(customDocumentLibrary); Now I just need to get my SPFolder object in question and pass it to the meethod SetFieldDefault.  This takes a SPFolder object, a string with the name of the SPField to set the default on, and finally the value of the default (in my case “Memo”). SPFolder testFolder = customDocumentLibrary.RootFolder.SubFolders["Test"]; columnDefaults.SetFieldDefault(testFolder, "DocumentType", "Memo"); You can set multiple defaults here.  When you’re done, you will need to call .Update(). columnDefaults.Update(); Here is what it all looks like together. using (SPSite siteCollection = new SPSite("http://sp2010/sites/ECMSource")) {     using (SPWeb site = siteCollection.OpenWeb())     {         SPList customDocumentLibrary = site.Lists["CustomDocuments"];         MetadataDefaults columnDefaults = new MetadataDefaults(customDocumentLibrary);          SPFolder testFolder = customDocumentLibrary.RootFolder.SubFolders["Test"];         columnDefaults.SetFieldDefault(testFolder, "DocumentType", "Memo");         columnDefaults.Update();     } } You can verify that your property was set correctly on the Change Default Column Values page in your list This is something that I could see used a lot on an ItemEventReceiver attached to a folder to do metadata inheritance.  Whenever, the user changed the value of the folder’s property, you could have it update the default.  Your code might look something columnDefaults.SetFieldDefault(properties.ListItem.Folder, "MyField", properties.ListItem[" This is a great way to keep the child items updated any time the value a folder’s property changes.  I’m also wondering if this can be done via CAML.  I tried saving a site template, but after importing I got an error on the default values page.  I’ll keep looking and let you know what I find out.

Austrian German Germany German Default German The question is, how do I define the "default" language versions, for any country with this language which isnt defined already? I know there is x-default, but I think you can only use that once and it is for all languages and all countries.

  • How to improve performance of map that loads new overlay images

    I have inherited a website to maintain that uses a html map overlaying a real map to link specific countries to specific pages. previously it loaded the default map image, then with some javascript it would change the image src to an image with that particular country in a different colour on mouseover and reset the image source back to the original image on mouse out to make maintenance (adding new countries) easier i made the initial map a background image by utilising some CSS for the div tag, and then created new images for each country which only had that countries hightlight so that the images remain fairly small. this works great but theres one issue which is particularly noticeable on slower internet connections when you hover over a country if you dont have the image file in your browser cache or downloaded it wont load the image unless you hover over another country and then back onto the first country - i guess this is due to the image having to manually be downloaded on first hover. My question: is it possible to force the load of these extra images AFTER the page and all the other assets have finished loading so that this behaviour is all but eliminated? the html code for the MAP is as follows: <div class="gtmap"><img id="Image-Maps_6200909211657061" src="<?php echo cdnhttpsCheck();   • How to change default foreign language font

    I want to know how to change the default font that is used when inputting a particular language. I use the Khmer language frequently, and the default font installed comes from the fonts-khmeros-core package. The fonts are fine, except that there better fonts. Once I install my beloved font, how do I cause Ubuntu to use that font instead of the ones from the package? Additionally, if you remove the fonts-khmeros-core package, and have only the custom font installed, the custom font will not be used by default, even if no other Khmer fonts are installed. However, when you install that package, those fonts are immediately used by default. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Making WatiN Wait for JQuery document.Ready() Functions to Complete

    WatiN's DomContainer.WaitForComplete() method pauses test execution until the DOM has finished loading, but if your page has functions registered with JQuery's ready() function, you'll probably want to wait for those to finish executing before testing it. Here's a WatiN extension method which pauses test execution until that happens. JQuery (as far as I can see) doesn't provide an event or other way of being notified of when it's finished running your ready() functions, so you have to get around it another way. Luckily, because ready() executes the functions it's given in the order they're registered, you can simply register another one to add a 'marker' div to the page, and tell WatiN to wait for that div to exist. Here's the code; I added the extension method to Browser rather than DomContainer (Browser derives from DomContainer) because it's the sort of thing you only execute once for each of the pages your test loads, so Browser seemed like a good place to put it. public static void WaitForJQueryDocumentReadyFunctionsToComplete(this Browser browser) { // Don't try this is JQuery isn't defined on the page: if (bool.Parse(browser.Eval("typeof $ == 'function'"))) { const string jqueryCompleteId = "jquery-document-ready-functions-complete"; // Register a ready() function which adds a marker div to the body: browser.Eval( @"$(document).ready(function() { " + "$('body').append('<div id=""" + jqueryCompleteId + @""" />'); " + "});"); // Wait for the marker div to exist or make the test fail: browser.Div(Find.ById(jqueryCompleteId)) .WaitUntilExistsOrFail(10, "JQuery document ready functions did not complete."); } } The code uses the Eval() method to send JavaScript to the browser to be executed; first to check that JQuery actually exists on the page, then to add the new ready() method. WaitUntilExistsOrFail() is another WatiN extension method I've written (I've ended up writing really quite a lot of them) which waits for the element on which it is invoked to exist, and uses Assert.Fail() to fail the test with the given message if it doesn't exist within the specified number of seconds.     I often see questions online where someone wants to find out who started a trace, when tempdb last had an autogrow event, or when the last full backup for master occurred. Since these and other events are captured by the default trace, but the default trace only keeps five 20MB rollover files by default. This means that the event you are after may no longer be there, depending on how long ago it was and how busy your server happens to be. Unfortunately, people often need to find this information well after the fact.

  • How can I open Outlook Calendar to a 2-3 week view by default?

    I use Outlook 2007, and I like to view my calendar 2 (or sometimes 3) weeks at a time. Its relatively easy to do, by dragging my mouse across several weeks in the mini calendar. BUT... it never stays that way. As soon as I change to Contacts and back to Calendar, the view resets to showing a whole month. Any ideas about how to change to default view?

  • I've set an editor as default, how do I call it to open files in a shell?

    EDIT I thought of a better way to phrase the question. How can I find the alias that Ubuntu is using for a different text editor? Rather than using nano by typing nano file.txt, i'd like to be able to type sublime file.txt to open sublime editor. I don't know where to look to find these aliases. sudo update-alternatives --config editor does not show it as a choice, I only see the 'default' editors, like Nano and vim.tiny.

  • NoSQL DB for .Net document-based database (ECM)

    I'm halfway through coding a basic multi-tenant SaaS ECM solution. Each client has it's own instance of the database / datastore, but the .Net app is single instance. The documents are pretty much read only (i.e. an image archive of tiffs or PDFs) I've used MSSQL so far, but then started thinking this might be viable in a NoSQL DB (e.g. MongoDB, CouchDB). The basic premise is that it stores documents, each with their own particular indexes. Each tenant can have multiple document types. e.g. One tenant might have an invoice type, which has Customer ID, Invoice Number and Invoice Date. Another tenant might have an application form, which has Member Number, Application Number, Member Name, and Application Date. So far I've used the old method which Sharepoint (used?) to use, and created a document table which has int_field_1, int_field_2, date_field_1, date_field_2, etc. Then, I've got a "mapping" table which stores the customer specific index name, and the database field that will map to. I've avoided the key-value pair model in the DB due to volume of documents. This way, we can support multiple document types in the one table, and get reasonably high performance out of it, and allow for custom document type searches (i.e. user selects a document type, then they're presented with a list of search fields). However, a NoSQL DB might make this a lot simpler, as I don't need to worry about denormalizing the document. However, I've just got concerns about the rest of the data around a document. We store an "action history" against the document. This tracks views, whether someone emails the document from within the system, and other "future" functionality (e.g. faxing). We have control over the document load process, so we can manipulate the data however it needs to be to get it in the document store (e.g. assign unique IDs). Users will not be adding in their own documents, so we shouldn't need to worry about ACID compliance, as the documents are relatively static. So, my questions I guess : Is a NoSQL DB a good fit Is MongoDB the best for Asp.Net (I saw Raven and Velocity, but they're still kinda beta) Can I store a key for each document, and then store the action history in a MSSQL DB with this key? I don't need to do joins, it would be if a person clicks "View History" against a document. How would performance compare between the two (NoSQL DB vs denormalized "document" table) Volumes would be up to 200,000 new documents per month for a single tenant. My current scaling plan with the SQL DB involves moving the SQL DB into a cluster when certain thresholds are reached, and then reviewing partitioning and indexing structures.

    Is it possible to set a default behaviour for custom (non-native) methods/functions in Java? For example, I would like to change the default "Function" to do a System.out.println("message") whenever called. So, when a custom method/function is being created: public String testMethod() { //custom code } it should execute the newly added default behaviour (in this case the system output), before the custom code is run. Even if this would be a bad excercise, is it possible? Maybe by extending the function class or something?

(I asked a guy there what to do after it said there was already a computer named "(omitted)" logged on.) I've never been at a wifi spot you had to log into before. I didn't even notice what the computer's name was before. My question is what are the most common default computer names. I'm curious. How often does this sort of problem happen? (For some reason my previous post was closed as off topic - so now I included the reason I'm asking. If it's still considered off topic (networking conflicts) I'll take it elsewhere, but the other forums I know of (ehow.com, answers.yahoo.com) are full of people that couldn't begin to answer a question like this.)
