    As its a pain to handle structural changes of the class in two places I often do: class A { private B bChild; private C cChild; private Object[] structure() { return new Object[]{bChild, cChild}; } int hashCode() { Arrays.hashCode(structure); } boolean equals(Object that) { return Arrays.equals(this.structure(), ((A)that).structure()); } } What's bad about this approach besides boxing of primitives? Can it be improved?

  • changing "enabled" value of a button during runtime in flex

    i want to make a button disabled if a datagrid is empty and it should be enabled when there is atleast 1 entry.the entries in the grid are made at runtime.I tried this this is the button: <mx:Button id="update" label="Update Contact" enabled="{isButtonEnabled()}"/> and the function is defined as where dg_contact is the datagrid: public function isButtonEnabled():Boolean { if(dg_contact.selectedIndex==-1) { return false; } else { return true; } } where am i going wrong?

    if i have mssql database with record displayed below : Id Serv-code Value 1 100 3 2 100 4 3 100 3 4 100 3 5 101 5 6 101 5 the logic i want when i search for the record using serv_code 100 then the output will be the average means 3 will be displayed in textbox because the value 3 will be entered 3 times than 4 as shown above .... and if if i search record with serv_code 100 and if the value of serv_code is equal means 3 and 4 only then the recent entered value will be displayed in textbox..

    We have a strange problem in our team. When a developer is using Eclipse in Debug mode, MS SQL Server 2005 blocks other developers from accessing a stored procedure. Debug session typically involves opening Hibernate session to persist an entity which could be accessing a stored procedure used for Primary key generation. Debugging is done in business logic code and rarely in JDBC stored procedure call. Is there any way to configure MS SQL server or the stored procedure so that other developers are not blocked?
