  • How to set Img scr from a server that is not live but connected with live server.

    I want to display photo of employee who is login but our company doesn't want to expose the photos of all employees publically that is why we put that employees photos on a server that is not live but connected with the live server. Now problem it that when I run my website on localhost the photos of employees display but as soon as I publish it on IIS it doesn't display images. Please suggest a solution.

  • Internet Explorer percent based layout issue

    Heya, My goal is to make a layout that is 200% width and height, with four containers of equal height and width (100% each), using no javascript as the bear minimum (or preferably no hacks). Right now I am using HTML5, and CSS display:table. It works fine in Safari 4, Firefox 3.5, and Chrome 5. I haven't tested it yet on older versions. Nonetheless, in IE7 and IE8 this layout fails completely.   • Computation on db data then list them using either SimpleCursorAdapter or ArrayAdapter

    Hi all, I juststarted programming in android a few weeks ago, so I am not entirely sure how to deal with listing values. Please help me out! I have some questions regarding displaying data sets from db in a list. Currently I have a cursor returned by my db points to a list of rows and I want display 2 columns values in a single row of the list. The row xml looks like this: <TextView android:id="@+id/text1" android:textSize="16sp" android:textStyle="bold" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content"/> <TextView android:id="@+id/text2" android:textSize="14sp" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content"/> so I was thinking using simplecursoradapter which supposedly makes my life easier by displaying the data in a list. However that is only true if I want to display the raw data. For the purpose of my program I need to do some computations on the raw data sets, then display them. I am not sure how to do that using SimpleCursorAdapter. Here's how I display the raw data: String[] from = new String[]{BtDbAdapter.KEY_EX_TYPE,BtDbAdapter.KEY_EX_TIMESTAMP}; int[] to = new int[]{R.id.text1, R.id.text2}; // Now create a simple cursor adapter and set it to display SimpleCursorAdapter records = new SimpleCursorAdapter(this, R.layout.exset_row, mExsetCursor, from, to); setListAdapter(records); Is there a way to do computation on the data in those rows before I bind it with the SimpleCursorAdapter? I was trying to use an alternative way of doing this by using arraylist and arrayadapter, but that way I dont know to how achieve displaying 2 items in a single row. I was trying to use R.id.text1 and R.id.text2 for them, but it gave me some errors saying 04-23 01:40:58.658: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3309): android.content.res.Resources$NotFoundException: Resource ID #0x7f070008 type #0x12 is not valid I believe the second method can achieve this, but I'm not sure how do deal with the layout problems, so if you any suggestions, please post them out.   • Internet Explorer ajax request not returning anything

    At the end of my registration process you get to a payment screen where you can enter a coupon code, and there is an AJAX call which fetches the coupon from the database and returns it to the page so it can be applied to your total before it is submitted to paypal. It works great in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, but in Internet Explorer, nothing happens.   • Annotation Title/Subtitle under Pins

    Hi, I use the Map to display some pin location from my database, everything is working fine. After that I use a pickerView to let the user display some specific pins. So I remove all the Pins first with [mapView removeAnnotations:mapView.anotations]; and display new Pins. There is like 100 of news pins, my problem is when I click on a Pin, the Title and subtitle are display under the others pins. Someone got the same problem? Thanks, P.S: Don't know if its relevant but I add a custom image for the pins.

    Hi, I have been working on a Java project in which the reports will be generated in HTML, so I am implementing methods for creating these reports. One important functionality is to be able to have as much info as possible in the tables, but still not clutter too much. In other words the details should be available if the user wishes to take a look at them but not necessarily visible by default. I have done some searching and testing and found an interesting template for hiding/showing content with the use of CSS and javascript, the problem is that when I try the resultant html page the scripts dont work. I am not sure if it's due a problem in Java or in the javascript itself. I have compared the html code that java produces to the source where I found the template, they seem to match pretty well.     Hello All, I am working on Image Viewer application and planning to build in WPF. My Image size are usually larger than 3000x3500. After searching for week, I got sample code from MSDN. But it is written in ATL COM. So I am planning to work and build the Image viewer as follows: After reading the Image I will scale down to my viewer size, viwer is around 1000x1000. Lets call this Image Data as Display Data. Once displaying this data, I will work only this Display data. For all Image processing operation, I will use this display data and when user choose to save the image, I will apply all the operation to original Image data. My question is, Is is ok to use Display data for showing and initial image processing operations.

    I am inserting the following characters into my DB: ?? / ?? This is the meta tag on the page that is inserting the characters: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> I have altered all the columns in my table that is holding the characters to be utf8_unicode_ci The foreign characters show up like so in the DB: 汉字 / 漢字 When I use a sql statement to display those foreign characters on a page, they display correctly again as: ?? / ?? I am guessing I have some setting that is not correct in my DB, since it stores it correctly, but does not display it correctly. What can i do to make the foreign language characters to display correctly in my DB?

  • asp.net ajax toolkit combobox doesn't work in hidden div

    I have a combobox inside a hidden div which I use css display = none to make it invisible, but when I make the div visible by setting display = block, the combobox just show the input and its button and ul list all have css as display = 'none', visibility ='hidden'. I can tell it is done by combobox inbuild javascript because I tried to use javascript to set the css manually with no luck. It is a bug of combobox. Urgent help needed.     I would like your comments and suggestion on this. I am doing the pagination for a page in jsf. The datatable is bound to a Backing Bean property through the "binding" attribute. I have 2 boolean variables to determine whether to render 'Prev' and 'Next' Button - which is displayed below the datatable. When either the 'Prev' or 'Next' button is clicked, In the backing bean I get the bound dataTable property and through which i get the "first" and "rows" attribute of the datatable and change accordingly. I display 5 rows in the page.   • Simulating a button press without performClick: (cocoa osx/cocotron)

    I need to be able to display popup menu when I press an openGL object. I was able to accomplish this by triggering the performClick: of an inviible NSPopupButton and also by triggering the performClickWithFrame:inView: of an NSPopupButtonCell. Both of these methods were successful on OSX but I also need to target the PC and unfortunately performClickWithFrame:inView: is unimplemented in cocotron and performClick does not cause the menu to be displayed when executed on an NSPopupButton (on cocotron). Now there must be someway for this to work because the NSPopupButton does sucesfully display the NSPopupButtonCell when it is clicked but I know it does not accomplish by calling performClick:. Can I access these lower levels methods used by the NSPopupButton to display my menu or force the invisible NSPopupButton to display its menu? If so can anyone link me to some info about this?

The external style sheet has the following code: td.EvenRow a{ display: none !important; } I have tried using: element.style.display = "inline"; and element.style.display = "inline !important"; but neither works.
