  I need to take an HTML page in Arabic and convert it to a PDF. itextsharp doesn't work. • ASP.net Literal or Page altering HTML string, causing formatting issues

  We have a service that generates a report (using word templates and a 3rd party library), and then returns a string in HTML. While this HTML isn't great - its formatted correctly in this string. We want this HTML to show up on a page - format intact. What we currently have done is set an ASP.net Literal's text element to this string. While this works, I have noticed that it has reformatted the HTML string slightly. For the most part, it looks like it generated a bunch of new CSS classes, and a new style element in the HTML. This HTML does not exist in the string thats being returned. I could filter all of this back out, but wonder if there is a better way. I assume that the Page itself is altering something. What is the best way to display this raw HTML back to the user? I can't directly use a Response.Write(string), because this page does have a few other controls on it.

If I should need for what ever reason to have a physical file such as file_abc.html how do I exclude it from the redirect rule? I am thinking I should just use ISAPI_Rewrite http://www.isapirewrite.com/ there seems to be a ton of resources out there for rewriting with htaccess and very little online help for using IIS 7 URL rewrite.   Hello, I'm doing the following: First, inject HTML into the page (a lot) which then increases the window scrollbar: $("#XXXX").html("LOTS OF HTML").show(); Then i want to scroll down to the end of the page: window.scrollTo(0,$(document).height()); Problem is the page never scrolls down. I did some console.logging and the scrollTo is running before the HTML from the inject html() is run. I tried this in the JS which injects the HTML, I then tried doing the scroll inside the HTML inject but that made no difference. Any ideas?

  I am displaying some HTML text in an Adobe AIR Application that I do not want the user to be able to cut and paste. How do I make the HTML control disallow highlighting of the HTML without disabling the ScrollBars. mouseChildren=false works but disables the scrollbars which is unacceptable. Right now I have: <mx:HTML location="http://dexter/preview.html" width="100%" height="100%" id="PreviewArea" x="0" y="0" tabEnabled="false" tabChildren="false" focusEnabled="false" focusRect="null"/> But it's not working properly either. I have also tried overlaying a disabled transparent text control over the top of the HTML component, but the user is still able to tab to the HTML and use the keyboard controls to copy the text to the clipboard. Any hints?

  First off, i am a noob to JavaScript but am willing to learn. :) I found a simple JavaScript moment engine created by another member on this site. Using that i made it so my character can walk around within a rectangle/square shaped room. I want to make it so the character can walk through a "doorway" within a wall to the next room. Either that or make it so if the character moves over a certain image within the room it will take the player to another webpage in which the character "spawns" into the room and so on and so fourth. I would like to "merge" the 2 sets (but I cannot change the html code) because I want the thumbnails of the second set floating right after the last thumbnail of the first set. • Star rating not showing in rich snippets

  We've recently been doing a lot of work on our site's SEO (www.betterthanreviews.com). We recently did a push to update the rich snippets breadcrumb, meta description, and star rating. After giving Google some time to index the site, it has updated the breadcrumbs and meta descriptions for our review pages, but the stars are still not showing. This is currently how it appears on a Google search (link to the actual page: http://www.betterthanreviews.com/home-security/livewatch): This is what the Rich Snippets is supposed to look like, and how it appears in Google's testing tool: More context: As seen in our html, we are using schema.org language. We initially were using schema.org/Corporation for the site, but we now have the page labeled as schema.org/HomeAndConstructionBusiness because Google will not show star ratings for the Corporation language. However, in our Webmaster Tools, the Structured Data is still showing the Corporation language, which could be a potential issue. Here is a look at some of the coding that we used. • need advice for small css issue [migrated]

  I have a small design problem in my css, and I'd like to know if someone could check it out for me. The design problem is in the rollover effect of my horizontal navigation. There seems to be some sort of added margin or padding, but I'm having trouble finding the problem in the css. I will paste the code I'm using below, so you can see for yourself. • Google Apps for Domains, Multiple Domains

  I have a primary google apps for domains account which I use for my personal email, calender, docs etc and is great. I also receive my pop3 company email via settings-Get mail from other accounts in my account. Due to spam I want to make use of gmail servers for my company email and have two options: [1] Add my second domain as a domain alias [2] Create a new apps for domains account If I do [1] above do I access (send and receive) my company email as if it was a separate account or is it merged into my primary domain. I want the two seperated. If I perform [2] can I share my contacts / calender between the two? I also have Act! contact manager which syncs to my primary domain and it is getting messy now with personal and work contacts being changed / sync'd to my Act CM software. I want to try and separate my personal and work contacts (but make the work them avaiable in my primary domain). Hope this makes sense! Your suggestions are gratefully accepted. Thank you

• Why do (Russian) characters in some received emails change when reading in David InfoCenter?

  I'm using David InfoCenter as email Software, and I have troubles with some of my emails in Russian. It's only a few letters, in some emails (sent from different people), like for example the "R" ("P" in russian) will be shown as a "T". In other emails in Russian, the problem doesn't appear. Isn't it strange? Does anyone had the same problem already and found where it came from? When I transmit that email to an external mailbox (internet email account), it's even worse, and gives me symbols instead of all Russian letters... The default encoding was "Russian (ISO)", I changed it to "Russian (Windows)", but same problem. Another weird reaction is when I write an intern email and name it TEST in Russian (????), with ???? in the text window, it changes the title to "Oano"? But the content stays in Russian... With Mailinator I got the following, for message and subject "????": Subject: ???? • Turning Google Apps mail inbox into Support Ticket System

  I have an account at Google apps and most of my email is done trough Gmail. Now I just manually respond to support email. I was wondering if there is an easy way using filters and auto responders to create a support ticket system. I think something like this would be great, but is it possible: Gmail has to make a unique ID for every email that comes in. After that all the other incoming mails should be grouped using that unique ID and not grouped by email. Something like that, or are there things I am not taking into account. I really don't want to use separate software for this, because I think with some small configurations this can do the trick quite well. Or are there some free apps on the marketplace that do this already. I have searched for this but cannot find any. Sorry if this is not an SF question. I really didn't know which is the best fit for this question. This can be migrated to anywhere if someone things it would be answered better there.

• Trying to use a SmartHost with my Exchange 2010 server

  Hi folks, I'm trying to use a SmartHost with my Exchange 2010 Server. SmartHost details: Secure SMTPS: securemail.internode.on.net 465 <-- Note: that's port 465 Configure your existing SMTP settings (in your email program) to: use authentication (enter your Internode username and password, enter your username as [email protected]). enable SSL for sending email (SMTPS). So I've added the smart host details to my Org Config -> Hub Transport. I then used PowerShell to add the port:- Set-SendConnector "securemail.internode.on.net" -port 465 I've then added my username/password (as suggested above) to the SmartHost as Basic Authentication (with no TLS). Then I try sending an email and I get the following error message :- 451 4.4.0 Primary target IP address responded with: "421 4.4.2 Connection dropped due to ConnectionReset." So i'm not sure how to continue. I also tried ticking the TLS box but stll I get the same error. If i don't use SMTPS (secure SMTP, on port 465) and use basic SMTP on port 25 with no Authentication, email gets sent. Any ideas? EDIT: Btw, I can telnet to that server on port 465 from my mail server .. just to make sure i'm not getting firewall'd, etc.

• Bluehost Emails Getting Blocked

  A site for my client has the run-of-the-mill "website with users" email pattern. Create an account, get an activation email. Get an email when a subscription is expiring, etc. The site is hosted on Bluehost and currently it uses php's mail() function. There isn't much configuration that is allowed (as far as I know). The trouble is, about a third of these emails disappear into the void. They aren't in spam or junk folders, there's no bounce message, they just cease to exist. I've read about Bluehost email troubles but I can't figure out what my options are for fixing it. These aren't marketing emails, ie they have user-specific information contained within them. I suppose if a solution offers a good templating system that would be fine. What are my options? I can send email from google apps mail but I can not recieve any email. It gives me the following error: Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected [email protected] Now I already tried following the slicehost MX article instructions straight as well and they did not work out for me. The domain has already been verified by google and it says the email is activated from their end. Any help would be appreciated : )

  I have set up postfix and used the mail command to test and an email was successfully sent and delivered. The email arrived in my yahoo inbox BUT the sender also recieved an email in the Maildir directory saying "I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients", even though the message was delivered. I tried replying from yahoo to the email but it never arrived. I have 1 MX record added to godaddy which i did last week. • Gmail won't forward mail sent to myself.

  I own a dedicated server with a domain, we'll say foobar.com. I use google apps to manage my email SMTP servers. Now I don't check two gmail inboxes. I have my own personal one, and then I have foobar.com's inbox from google apps. Naturally the easiest thing to do is just have all foobar's emails forwarded to my personal one. So then I am only checking 1 inbox. This is all fine and dandy. I use MSMTP that with a wrapper that uses /etc/aliases. I have it set so any mail attempting to go to root (Things from cron, etc) will go to [email protected]. So when google app's (foobar.com) gets an email from the email I have setup with it ([email protected]), it automatically doesn't forward the message. This is a "feature" to gmail/google apps I suppose. How do I get around it? workarounds? etc. I could just have my alias set to my personal email but I wanted a place to have all foobar related emails archived in one place (googleapps).

  I recently added a new domain to my mail server. I have 1 main server mail.example.com and several others that have the mx record pointing to mail.example.com. My two new domains have the mx record set correctly. The issue I am experiencing is the 550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable error but only when I send emails to accounts on the new urls from an external email account such as gmail. If i send an email to one of the newly made email addresses with the new url from an email account within the same server it delivers normally. For example.... sending [email protected] to [email protected] receives 550 error sending [email protected] to [email protected] works normal here is a report from wormly.com with server and account names changed for obvious reasons Resolving hostname...
