All my HTML page elements behind of my second div(which id is 'window_to_my_html_page') must be active, all mouse events must work on them, this div must be like a window to my HTML page I want to make all elements from my HTML page active(to work as normal) inside this area (left: 50px; top: 50px; width: 200px; height: 200px).... and other content, outside of this area make inactive The question: how can I do it?

  • index.html redirecting to cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

    This problem has been persisting over the last couple of days. I thought I fixed it Friday only to get in on Monday morning and see that cPanel is still giving me issues. On Friday, all incoming traffic to my index.html page were being redirected to cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi. Upon further investigation, I found that my entire index.html code had been overwritten and contained only a single meta tag, which was causing the aforementioned redirect. I re-uploaded the original index page and overwrote the one that was causing the redirects and it seemed to have fixed the problem. Fast forward to Monday. The problem began happening again and I took the same steps as before to fix it, but now I'm wondering how to permanently stop this from happening. From what I've found, it's related to cPanel. I personally did not make any changes to the server, but there are a few people with access who might have. I'm on a VPS with my own dedicated IP address. I've been hosting fine for a few months without this problem. The server is runs a traditional LAMP stack.

  • How to port email from evolution to thunderbird?

    I updated ubuntu to 11.10 using the update notification. I am also switching from Xubuntu to ubuntu - gnome interface. I have been using evolution for years and would like to port the emails to thunderbird. I have looked at the similar questions with no luck and the thunderbird help on manually importing. Most of these assume that the evolution file structure is similar to the evolution file structure. When I set up thunderbird it seems to have imported the contacts from evolution (and actually removed them from evolution. However no mail got transferred. I found the evolution mail in ~/.local/share/evolution/mail/local . this has folders.db and 3 directories - cur ,tmp, and new. then there are the hidden files and directories. Each directory has three related files with extensions .cmeta, .ibex.index, and .ibex.index.data. Then all the directories had files that seem to contain the individual messages. I have not looked at rhyme or reason to the file numbering/naming scheme. is there a nice way to import these files?

  • Sending text messages from Raspberry Pi via email fails

    I'm using mailx on my raspberry pi to try to send text messages updates for event monitoring. My phone number: 9876543210 My phone's email-to-text gateway address: [email protected] I can 1) Send emails from my raspberry pi to various email addresses. mail -r [email protected] -s "My Subject" [email protected] < body.txt and off it goes and is successfully delivered. 2) Send emails from various email address (not on RPi) using mailx to the above phone-email address and have them delivered as text messages. However, when sending emails to [email protected] from the Raspberry Pi using mailx the emails seem to spiral into the void and are never heard of again (no errors, no undeliverable messages, nothing). Does anyone know what could be causing this to go awry? Something about the basic deployment of the mail server on the pi? EDIT Based on @kobaltz's suggestion, I used sendmail instead. This led to a hang, then an error that stated that I lacked a fully qualified domain name (FQDN). I then used this website's instructions to add a domain name to the RPi. To paraphrase: I have set the FQDN in /etc/hostname: my-host-name.my-domain.com and /etc/hosts: 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost 192.168.0.5 my-host-name.my-domain.com my-host-name Then add to /etc/mail/sendmail.cf: MASQUERADE_AS(`my-domain.com') MASQUERADE_DOMAIN(`my-host-name.my-domain.com') FEATURE(`masquerade_entire_domain') FEATURE(`masquerade_envelope') I put this in /etc/mail/sendmail.cf, BEFORE the MAILER() lines, ran sendmailconfig, answered Yes to the questions about using the existing files, and restarted sendmail.   • Why does display:table-cell not center content without display:table?

    I'm looking for the most efficient (or elegant) way to vertically and horizontally center content of variable height. I've come up with this: http://cssdeck.com/t/2veysdkg/16, which uses css tables to vertically center the main content. My demands for writing this particular piece of code were: Must be able to center variable and fixed width content vertically and horizontally Centered content must be inside the normal document flow (so no overlapping) Sticky footer and normal header of 100% width As few hacks, ugly code or non-semantic html as possible I didn't care about support for IE6, IE7 (I'll use a different stylesheet for them) The weird thing is that the demands above are only met when the header and footer are set to table-row, and the body-tag to display:table. Which is weird because as I understand it the css will generate anonymous table elements when parent table elements are missing. So table-cell should work without all the surrounding elements, but yet I've not been able to make it work. If it were up to me I would prefer to not mess with the display mode for the body tag, and leave the header and footer on display:block. But I've not been able to make it work. Does anyone understand why this doesn't work?

    Is there a way for Outlook 2010 to close the currently opened-email (if it's in its own window) after I select "Done" from the Quick Steps item in the ribbon? I have investigated the Quick Step actions but I can't see anything applicable. I understand that the "Done" option is available even in the full Outlook window, so closing the current window wouldn't be appropriate here, but it'd be good if it could close it if the email was opened in a new window.

  • Types of quotes for an HTML templating language

    I'm developing a templating language, and now I'm trying to decide on what I should do with quotes. I'm thinking about having 3 different types of quotes which are all handled differently: backtick ` double quote " single quote ' expand variables ? yes no escape sequences no yes ? escape html no yes yes Backticks Backticks are meant to be used for outputting JavaScript or unescaped HTML. It's often handy to be able to pass variables into JS, but it could also cause issues with things being treated as variables that shouldn't. My variables are PHP-style ($var) so I'm thinking that might mess with jQuery pretty bad... but if I disable variable expansion w/ backticks then, I'm not sure how would insert a variable into a JS code block? Single Quotes Not sure if escape sequences like \n should be treated as literals or converted. I find it pretty rare that I want to disable escape sequences, but if you do, you could use backticks. So I'm leaning towards "yes" for this one, but that would be contrary to how PHP does it. Double Quotes Pretty certain I want everything enabled for this one. Modifiers I'm also thinking about adding modifiers like @ or r in front of the string that would change some of these options to enable a few more combinations. I would need 9 different quotes or 3 quotes and 2 modifiers to get every combination wouldn't I? My language also supports "filters" which can be applied against any "term" (number, variable, string) so you could always write something like "blah blah $var blah"|expandvars Or "my string"|escapehtml Thoughts? What would you prefer? What would be least confusing/most intuitive?

    Hello, I'm using outlook 2007. Two days ago, we've enabled auto-archiving, maybe that't the source of our problems, but I still have to investigate. At any rate, auto completion of email addresses in the to/cc/bcc fields has become a stopper, taking up to a minute to do something. How can I configure my Exchange 2010 server to work with SharePoint Server 2010 for outgoing email notifications?

  • Save static version of a webpage to be available offline

    Is there a way to save a webpage as static HTML, available for offline viewing, editing etc.? I want to remove all javascript files. Leave only HTML, CSS and images. For example, if this web page has a Facebook Like button, I want the image of the button to be part of the HTML as a regular image (and not be loaded as some Javascript code runs after I load the page). I'm trying to prepare a webpage for an offline demo. When I use the standard "save as HTML complete" like tools, all the Javascript is saved as well, and when viewed offline, all the dynamic content is blanks.
