    Do you think that if I'll build my own custom analytic tool (Flurry, Pinchmedia) and I'll host that on the same server where I have my data source for the application, will Apple consider this as a thirdparty analytic tool or not? ... Problem is that Flurry and Pinch are being banned from Appstore by the newest T&C ... than I thought that I'll build an open source library that will allow anyone to have their own analytic installed on their server ...   • How to control CSS class applied to ASP.NET 4 Menu with RenderingMode=List

    I am using an ASP.NET 4.0 Menu control with RenderingMode=List and am struggling with creating the appropriate CSS. Each menu item is represented by an <li tag that contains a nested <a tag with what appear to be fixed class names: <a class="level1" for unselected level 1 menu items <a class="level2" for unselected level 2 menu items <a class="level1 selected" for the selected level 1 menu item ... etc... What I want to do is to is to prevent the currently selected menu item from being "clickable". To do so I tried using: if (menuItem.Selected) menuItem.Selectable = false; This has the desired effect of removing the href attribute from the <a tag but also removes the class attribute - and as a result my CSS can not identify what level the menu item belongs to! Looks to me like a possible bug, but in any case I can't find any documentation describing what CSS class names are used, nor whether there is any way to control this (the old Style properties don't appear to have any effect). Ideally I would like to have "level" class attributes on the <li tags, not just the nested <a tags.

    hi- i'm following the instructions on how to build a custom search provider for windows federated search: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd742956(v=VS.85) i'm returning local results of the form: File://C:\Users\user\file.txt however, when i perform a search, i get results that say: "This item was blocked because of your Internet security settings". how can i change my security settings so that federated search will allow my customer search provider to return local filesystem results? thanks.

  • Packaging python software with custom dependencies

    Hi, I'm looking for a good way to package a Python application that is going to be deployed on a Debian server. The application itself depends on some modules which are not included in base Debian repository, although they might be in the future. This creates some problems... I depend on some patches to those modules. If the original module gets installed one day, the application will break. However if I install everything I need in a virtualenv just for that application, I lose the ability to upgrade Python itself (in case of security updates). The third option would be to rename my fork of the upstream module and just treat it as a completely separate one. But that would mean changing the code (not much work, but it wouldn't be that clean / universal anymore). Are there any other options that I missed? Are there any pros / cons I didn't see in the solutions above?

    I back up my code with svn. I have project files in there however i ignore selected things. I also ignore jpg, ogg, etc. Right now i would like to backup everything. However the zip result is 1gb (i have a lot of code). I know i can cut down the filesize by 60%+ Is there an app i can use which will backup everything except the bin and obj folders? perhaps keep ogg, json, jpg files but ignore .svn or .pdb files?

    Hello, I have a multiview that simulates a menu with different kind of options. Each view within the multiview control holds a bunch of controls (listbox, label, etc..) Everything worked just fine, until i wanted to implement Validation control(s). For example when i click on my menu viewA gets displayed with its controls. There i wish to implement a RequiredFieldValidator. But the problem is, if i click on a other menu option (which is in fact a other view in my multiview) then it gives the error message 'Please enter a message" which is the errorMessage of the first RequiredFieldValidator of the first menu option (first view). All my controls are named with a unique name, so there is no mixup amongst the ControlToValidate="" Offcourse this is not suitable, cause those menu choices are indepentant. And its not the intention i have to fill in everything, cause its a menu afterall, and not a form where i have to enter everything at once. How can i have a RequiredFieldValidator on my views that do not take each other in account?     On a lenovo ThinkServer RD240 running firmware 1.20 with the latest BNC software, using the remote console to redirect a CD-ROM fails with the error: "CD-ROM redirection is not supported on this platform". Similar error for forwarding an iso image, foppy and USB drive. I tried executing the management console from Ubuntu, Windows 7 and OS X with the exact same error. The question is: What platform does the jViewer console support any kind of media redirection?

My labels display when I don't over-ride: - (CGFloat)tableView:(UITableView *)tblView heightForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath however my content is squished. I want the height to be 120px so I have the following: - (CGFloat)tableView:(UITableView *)tblView heightForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { CGFloat rowHeight = 120; return rowHeight; } I'm not sure why the content inside of my UITableViewCell all of a sudden disappears?

  • A "region code" restriction for a custom created video dvd file

    I want to create a video dvd ( no menus, just "plug and play" ) from a few video files. I`m doing it like this: ffmpeg -i sample-media/hellboy-2.wmv -y -target ntsc-dvd sample-media-to-mpeg/hellboy-2.vob dvdauthor -o sample-dvd -x dvdauthor-settings.xml mkisofs -dvd-video -o hellboy-2-trailers.iso sample-dvd/ where "dvdauthor-settings.xml" is: link. But when I try to play the iso file in windows it says: Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because the disc prohibits playback in your region of the world. You must obtain a disc that is intended for your geographic region. When I open the *.IFO file with IfoEdit it says that all world regions are unabled. Can someone tell me why is this happening? ( maybe the whole process of creating the *.iso file is wrong? )

    Maybe I am chasing a bug but I am trying to set up a smtp proxy of sorts. I have a postfix server which receives all the email for a collection of servers/clients. It them uses a smarthost (relayhost=...) to forward it's mail to our corporate MTA. I would like to limit the number of messages an individual server can relay to prevent swamping the corporate MTA. Postfix has a program called "anvil" that is capable of tracking stats about mail to be used for such things but it doesn't seem to be executed. I ran "inotifywait -m /usr/lib/postfix/anvil" while I started postfix and sent a number of messages through it from a remote server. inotifywait indicated anvil was never run.     Hi all, I did developed a custom SharePoint Web Service . It is working fine when using http. But when we configure SSL(https) , it is not working and throwing the below error. Request for the permission of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Security.SharePointPermission, Microsoft.SharePoint.Security, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bcee11233hj' failed.
