    Google analytics stats: 04 june 2012 Visits: 4.423 Unique visitors: 3.558 Pageviews: 77.352 Pageviews / visit: 17,49 Visit length: 00:06:26 Bounce rate: 1,09% 05 june 2012 Visits: 4.652 Unique visitors: 3.825 Pageviews: 45.087 Pageviews / visit: 9,69 Visit length: 00:06:45 Bounce rate: 19,60% From one day to another the bounce rate went from 1% to 19%, the pageviews dropped by half so did the pageviews/visit. The only thing I changed (If I remember correctly) on the site, was an advertisment that used a javascript. Could this be the reason? and, if it is, how can I know which one is the real stats?

  • Why does my FPS drop gradually over time?

    I'm working on this game: yt alpha preview I came into a huge game-breaking problem - after 10-15 min of gameplay the FPS drops from 60 to 30 and is very unstable. I'm using tons of physics and particles, I'm deleting and nulling everything I can after it's supposed to be removed, I remove objects from vectors etc. The memory usage is stable at around 150mb so a leak is unlikely (or invisible?)- after a round ends and I delete everything, play a new round and performance is still terrible. I spent two days trying to figure this out and I just can't fix it. Maybe I'm missing something? I know it's hard to help with no code but I would just have to post my whole source.

I had target keywords which were ranking very well for about 1 month, within the top five and even appearing in first place. In an attempt to maintain good positioning, I followed guidelines by adding robots.txt, an xml sitemap redirecting non-www to www redirecting index.php to root domain adding htaccess 301 redirect for old pages I added rich snippets created a google+ account, verified my picture to appear, I went through each of the webmaster issues with duplicate titles and meta descriptions and improved header tag document outlines i even created a few more blog posts to keep the content freshing and moving. So now my website appears on page 2 with my target keywords - and all because I followed the guidelines. What is happening? I see competitors with stagnant content superglued to position 1.

  • how to filter text of the selected value in drop down

    I have a drop down menu. Has product types. Product types have associated value (from drop down) values correspond to machine groups. So each option should have three variables--Machine name, values, machine group. I can get the Machine name and I can get the machine value (and display them in a different field)...what I have not been able to figure out is how to change the value into the Machine group. jQuery('#MachineName').bind('change', function() { //get selected value from drop down; var selectedValue = jQuery("#MachineName").val(); //populate a text field with the selected drop down value jQuery("#MachineValue").val(selectedValue); What I would like to do is keep that MachineValue but then populate another text field with the sorted MachineGroup I have been trying to run it through something like switch(jQuery(this).val()){ case "236" : newVal = "8"; break; But I don't want to "change" the value I just want to do an "if then" type filter, so maybe something like: '236' => "8", '237' => "5", I just don't know how to properly say "assign the MachineGroup based on the MachineValue" (and then have it populate a different text field) In the end I would have three fields. The drop down, the MachineValue and the MachineGroup. Drop down and value are done, I just need to do Group. (And I can sort Group based on MachineName...just not sure which would be easier)

  • USB ports causing Wireless and Mobile Phone tethering drop out

    I have a problem with my USB ports and I can't seem to pinpoint the problem. I'm hoping that I can get some idea as to how to troubleshoot my problem. Problem description: I recently bought a USB Wireless Adapter in order to connect my Desktop PC to the WLAN. The dongle keeps dropping off connection regularly on average once a minute. And the connection is slow. What I've tried: I installed a network scanner to determine signal strength. The PC/adapter combo is getting about 70% signal strength. I have a laptop that has an internal Wireless adapter. I moved the laptop near the location of the PC. The signal strength was above 90%. I installed the USB adapter on the laptop. I placed the laptop near the location of the PC. The signal strength was above 80%. And there is no drop out issue. I've isolated the problem to be on the PC. I used internet tethering on my mobile phone in order to test the USB ports. I get the same problem, themobile phone keeps dropping in and out. I plugged the adapter and phone on all USB ports, and it is still dropping out on all ports. I've isolated the problem to be the Motherboard, USB hub. I updated the BIOS, and USB driver. Still dropping out. I noticed that when I used the mobile phone tethering method, the phone (iphone 5) is guarenteed to drop out and does not appear to charge if I jiggle the the 8-pin connector on the base of the phone. If I push the pin tightly on the phone, the phone starts charging, as soon as I let go, it stops and drops out from the PC. This is strange because this doesn't happen when it is plugged to the powerboard. Which means that the 8 pin connector is fine. I'm not sure what the problem is. I assume that it is to do with the USB ports not supplying enough power which in turn causes the devices to intermittently drop out. The reason I say this is because the USB cable works fine when plugged into a powerboard with enough power supplied to the phone. Only when it is plugged into the USB port on the PC, does it drop out. My motherboard is Asus P8z68-v le. My Wireless adapter is the D-link DWA131. I can't seem to find any settings in the BIOS to increase the south bridge voltage so as to supply more power to the USB ports. Although this problem only occurs when I'm trying to hook up to a device supplying internet connection. My USB HDD, Flash drives, and Mouse and Key are working fine! Any suggestions please?

By procedurally we mean to drop a percentage of packets incoming on the XP machine from a specific IP. Asked here because these seem like server related questions. And none of us have really any idea how to execute this. Another option is to introduce intermittent latency for an incoming IP. Thank you for your help.

It uses a lot of drop-down boxes, and so I'm looking for any ideas on how one might go about showing the options for each response (from the drop-down boxes), without having to manually print screen a bunch of times and pasting the results into Visio.     I have one worksheet for setting up the data sources of multiple data validation lists. in other words, I'm using this worksheet to provide drop down lists to multiple other worksheets. I need to dynamically update all worksheets upon any of a single or several changes on the data source worksheet. I may understand this should come with event macro over the entire workbook. My question is how to achieve this keeping the "OFFSET" formula across the whole workbook ? When the user clicks on the smaller image in the post, it opens up a new tab with the fullsize view of the image (I'm sure you're already familiar with this if you use Wordpress). For some reason, I can't get his code to work, and I'm wondering if I'm targeting this wrong within my CSS. Can you help? In place of the .drop-shadow class that he uses, I'm target all images wrapped with an a tag within the #main-i div. So, like this... #main-i a img Does anyone know how to target it better than I have so that I can get the drop shadows to be applied for all images within the specified div? Thanks for your help!   • WPF DataGrid - Can't Use Mouse To Scroll Because Of Drag Drop

    Hello, I am using a datagrid that is allowing to drag its rows. My problem is that when i try to scroll down on my grid using the mouse on the side scroller, i get the 'no enterance' sign that means that "drag and drop is not allowed here, dude...". When I try to drag the circle, the app just creates another circle over the original one, regardless of where I release the drag. qDebug() in DragScene's dropEvent() shows QPointF(0,0) everytime the drag ends. I'm having a hard time trying to understand exactly what I have to do, which classes I should subclass, which methods needs to be overriden, to make this work. The documentation on this isn't very detailed. I'd like to know how to make this work, and if there's some other, more comprehensive resource to learn about the graphics view framework, besides the official documentation (which is excellent btw, but it would be great if there was a more detailed treatise on the subject). EDIT: Following badgerr's advice, I replaced item-pos() in DragScene::dropEvent() with item-scenePos(), now the drop event creates a new circle in the drop site, which is more or less what I wanted. But the original circle is still in place, and while the drag is in progress, the item doesn't follow the mouse cursor. The QGraphicsSceneDragDropEvent documentation says that pos() should return the cursor position in relation to the view that sent the event, which, unless I got it wrong, shouldn't be (0,0) all the time. Weird. I've read in a forum post that you can use QDrag::setPixMap() to show something during the drag, and in examples I've seen pictures being set as pixmaps, but how do I make the pixmap just like the graphics item I'm supposed to be dragging?

I plan to make something like the one shown below: The program is Alice, where you can drag some elements on the left and nest them to the right. It's open source, but they did not use any libraries I think. I'm wondering if we anyone know of open source frameworks that work this way, or assist in doing complex drag and drops.

    Dear all, I am in the middle of the road whether to use jQuery UI or Scriptaculous for drag and drop. I am using Ruby on Rails, and Scriptaculous support in Ruby on Rails is superb with the existence of scriptaculous_helper.rb. But I have already use jQuery for the ajax and DOM manipulation. I do not mind to use scriptaculous since we can use jQuery.noConflict() in the code. I also kind of get the impression that scriptaculous drag and drop is better than jQuery UI drag and drop based on the online demos. So back to the original question, which one would you recommend as a drag and drop library and which one do you think is better than the other? Scriptaculous or jQuery UI?

  • Object drag delay issue

    I have this code that drags stuff around perfectly in IE - however in firefox the onmousedown-drag of the object does not immediately drag but shows the no-entry cursor and then after onmouseup the object drags around freely. The object does stop draging on the next onmouseup. The object should only drag in the onmousdown state, while the onmousup call should cancel the drag by making j_OK=0.   • How to find source of 301/302 redirect loop? Heroku GoDaddy Zerigo

    this should be a relatively simple problem but I'm having trouble.I hope this is the right forum to post on as I've seen people get booted off stack-overflow for this sort of thing. I've setup a web app on heroku (cedar stack) at my-web-app.herokuapp.com and I'm trying to direct my-domain.com and www.my-domain.com to it. As per instructions on the heroku documentation, I've set my-domain.com to redirect (forwarding) to www.my-domain.com and then set a C-Name from www.my-domain.com to my-web-app.herokuapp.com. But the C-Name doesn't seem to be working right and is sending back to my-domain.com, causing a loop and I can't work out why. I first configured these setting at GoDaddy.com where I registered the domain but then tried to avoid the problem by using Heroku's Zerigo DNS add-on, setting the nameservers on GoDaddy to the ones given for Zerigo. However the problem remains. If it is not at all obvious from these readouts what it might be could someone at least tell me which company GoDaddy, Zerigo or Heroku should I go to for support since I don't really know enough to be able to say where the problem lies.   • IE issues with drag/drop (script.aculo.us)

    I have a page with a left and a right div. Inside each of these there are several divs. I can drag&drop them inside the left/right divs or move from one to the other So the page is something like ........ ........ ........ ........ I am using scriptaculous and prototype for the drag&drop If I drag in Firefox things work fine. In IE6-IE8 however I have 2 problems: 1) When I drag from left to right or the other way around, the inner divs do not keep their relative distances: the div I moved now overlaps with the div on the opposite side (if I do a reload of the page the divs are set correctly again) 2) If I shrink the window width below a certain width the divs either on the left or the right droppable disappear. Any ideas? deb

  • MKPinAnnotationView - hard to drag

    I have a MKPinAnnotationView that the user can drag around the map. It is very difficult for a user to drag the pin. I've tried increasing the frame size and also using a giant custom image. But nothing seems to actually change the hit area for the drag to be larger than default. Consequently, I have to attempt to tap/drag about ten times before anything happens. Afterwards, the connection is as responsive as could be. If I change the default policy for my FORWARD chain to "ACCEPT", then the password promt is there imediatly. I have tried analysing the logs, but I can not spot a difference in the logs for ACCEPT/DROP in my FORWARD chain. Also I have tried allowing all the unprivileged ports, as box1 uses thoses for doing ssh to box2. Any hints? (If the whole setup seems strange to you - the point of the exercise is to understand iptables ;))
