  • cake's Acl problems...

    I created an application using the method described in the "http:// book.cakephp.org/view/641/Simple-Acl-controlled-Application" but after I try to log in there is an error which says, "DbAcl::allow() - Invalid node [CORE\cake\libs\controller\components\acl.php, line 325]" I did exactly same as mentioned in the website but after loggin in I am given this error msg..     Hi, I'm a newbie to .NET. I have a class called Project, a project can have multiple forecasts.Now If I want to check if the projects has any forecasts or not should I use a readonly boolean property called HasForecast() or should I use a method named HasForecast() which basically returns a boolean value.From framework design guidelines I came to know that methods should be used when the operation is complex,since here I'm retrieving the value of forecasts from DB should I consider method, or since it is a logical data member should I use a property.If I use a property can I call a method in DBLayer from its getter.Please explain Regards, Ravi

  • setting rpmforge repository for Linux (RHEL)

    Hello, I had a Linux centos(5.5) machine, on this i had deployed amavisd (with clamav and spamassassin). Referred these: http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Amavisd http://wiki.centos.org/PackageManagement/Yum/Priorities Now I have a linux RHEL machine, details are as follows: (Linux version 2.6.18-164.6.1.el5 ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-46)) x86_64 GNU/Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.5 (Tikanga)) I want to set up the above mentioned software's on this(RHEL) machine, for that I do (as per the reference link): install yum-priorities but i am unable to install this on my said machine, because the default yum repository provided by RHEL doesn't contain this. How can i deploy the above software's on my RHEL machine, suggest any safe alternate. Please guide since i am a newbie in this matter. thanks in advance Ashish Sharma

This was a full day event with various sessions on J2EE 6, Java Concurrency, NoSQL, MongoDB, Oracle 12c, Oracle ADF etc. It was an overwhelming response from students, auditorium was jam packed with 600+ LPU energetic students of B.Tech and MCA stream. Navein Juneja Sr. Director LPU gave the keynote and introduced the speakers of AIOUG and Delhi & NCR Java User Group (DaNJUG). Mr. Juneja explained about the LPU and its students. He explained how Oracle and Java is most used and accepted technologies in world. Rohit Dhand Additional Dean LPU came on stage and share about how his career started with Oracle databases. He encouraged students to learn these technologies and build their career. Satyendra Kumar vice-president AIOUG thanked LPU and their stuff for organizing such a good technical event and students for their overwhelming response.  He talked about the India Oracle group and its events at various geographical locations all over India. Jitendra Chittoda Co-Leader DaNJUG explained how to make a new Java User Groups (JUG), what are its benefits and how to promote it.   • Problem with kickstart

    Hi, I created a kickstart file ks.cfg and then I have put that in the bootable disk*(Ubuntu 10.04)* and then added the following line to the isolinux.cfg linux ks=ks.cfg and have not removed any other lines from the isoconfig.cfg file and then while installing the installation is not automated,again it is asking for language and all. If i removed include menu.cfg or any other line from isolinux.cfg i am getting a boot error. What should i do now to automate the installation.Where should i add the boot parameters so that installation will start from the ks.cfg . Thanks and Regards Ravi Kumar

  • Email attachment parsing via mime4j

    Hi, I am using a small java smtp library (http://code.google.com/p/subethasmtp/), by this I need to parse the incoming emails in separate components viz body, attachments etc. I am trying to use mime4j , but the documentation suggests that mime4j can only give event notification or token notification and nothing else. For stripping out body and attachments etc I had to use my own custom logic inside the event handlers. Is my observation correct? If yes then how can I use mime4j to use for my requirement. Please suggest. I badly need an approach that takes in the smtp data stream and returns me with an array of attachment references or streams in fully parsed out form in java. Please help.
