  • visual studio qt5 plugins not working on release

    I'm got this project where i'm showing images with a qt5 interface, i'm simply setting the Pixmap of a label with the qimage pixmap The thing is, it's working on a debug build, but not on a release build and i dont understand why. I already got a folder in my .Exe folder named "plugins" and a subfolder in it named "imageformats", and in this folder the file named "qjpeg.dll" So i coming here to see if someone has an idea on why it doesn't work ?     I have a complex XSD schema and hundreds of XML files conforming to the schema. How do I automate the creation of related SQL Server tables to store the XML data? I've considered creating C# classes from the XSD schema using the xsd.exe tool and letting something like Subsonic figure out how to make a shiny database out of it, but not sure if it's the best way to approach it. Has anyone managed to elegantly import XSD files into SQL Server?

    I' m using Visual Studio to create windows installer package, i can't add the folders and data files needed for the application. I create the folders needed for the application in the 'application folder'(under 'File System on Target Machine'), then add files into the appropriate folders, and when i install the application and go to the installation folder there are no folders...there is only the application exe file, hm...

    I'm trying to use the lame_enc.dll file from LAME in a C# project, but adding the thing seems impossible. I keep getting an error that says that a reference could not be added and to please check if the is accessible, a valid assembly or COM component. I have no C++ experience, though I would like to use the functionality. Right now I'm using Process from the .NET framework to call lame.exe and do stuff, but I'd like to know if there's another way.

    I am using Eazfuscator.NET 3.0.41 to obfuscate a (VS 2010) WPF 4 application. After obfuscating, when I double click the exe file it's throwing an error message like this. "Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException" Is there a way I could enable some sort of a logging to check where it's going wrong ? How can I solve this problem? please advice

    I am working on a flash game, that will be distributed as and EXE file. I would very much like the game to run full screen, which is not a problem, but I am struggling with replacing flash default behavior when escape is pressed. When escape is pressed I would like to display a custom menu asking the user if they want to exit the game or continue playing, not just exit full screen more. Is this possible in Flash?

    I can't run Content Shell on my system (Windows 7 x64): When i run --dump-render-tree with the stable release content_shell.exe crashes with message: [XXXX:XXXX:0522/XXXXXX:XXXXXXXXX:FATAL:content_main_runner.cc(735)] Check failed: base::i18n::InitializeICU() were X - some number. And i can't run dev build because it misses mojo_system.dll. Is there any way to fix it? Does it work on Linux or MacOS? If so i probably can run it in VM For the time being.

But when I specifies the path as fp = fopen("C:\\Windows\\Pkts.csv", "w+"); the file gets created in the path specified. How to create the file in the current directory?

I seem to remember a nice tool where I could drag its pointer over the GUI of my running application and get lots of info about what was pointed at - handle, size, text, parent, children, etc IIRC, if the exe include debug info I could also get the actual variable name as used in the source.
