How to manage orientation in iPad app

The frame remains same in both modes. Please give me idea how it will be solved in the case of navigation controller image.

I have been lead to believe that it is possible to pass a class as a method parameter, but I'm having trouble implementing the concept. Instantaneous frequency not plotting correctly in Matlab

I'm trying to convert square wave data to instantaneous frequency and plot against time. It works correctly for one data set, but three others are plotting as shown in the image: http://i.imgur.com/iuL648o.png Time is linear, so it shouldn't be plotting like that. Anyone have any ideas as to what's going on? Hello I have a Rewrite rule I am trying to implement on my local host but I cannot get it to do the action no matter how I setup the regex the files are in this naming scheme /docroot/css/stylesheet.min.css and I have them printed in the code like /docroot/css/stylesheet.min.123438348.css (the number is example it comes from a get modified function). Remove class when move to next menu item

I have a simple nav made up of the following HTML; <div class="inner"> <div class="button"><img class="portal" src="images/portalbutton.png" /></div> <a href="#"><div class="prod_description"> </div></a> </div> There are a number of items (All set to float left along side each other) to make up a nav bar. When I hover over .button and/or .prod_description I want the .inner <div> to have the class .hover added to it. This is so I can set a background image around the whole thing (Kind of like highlighting the nav item). I only then want to remove .hover when another .button or .prod_description is hovered over, in which case this nav item takes the .hover class.

How to "flick" a UIImageView?

I've got some UIViews that I'd like the user to be able to "flick" across the screen. They're not scroll views. They simply contain a raster image (png). Can anyone point me to some sample code, etc to help get me started? Something a little more heavyweight than "MoveMe" out there that helps detect a "flick" (vs a "nudge" or a drag and drop) and then carries the view off in the direction of the "flick"? OpenGL probably overkill. If possible I'd like to stay w/in the realm of Core Graphics/Animation.

My goal is to upload a image(.jpg or .png)from client's folder to tomcat6 server through hessian protocol. And do image processing using opencv on server, then return the image back to client. Question1. Is the following transfering steps correct? put a test.jpg image on client's folder -- convert the test.jpg in client.java(main.java) class to BufferedImage -- convert the BufferedImage to mat or Iplimage in server for using openCV.I have set a hello world sample from Simple Messaging Example using Hessian , and searched from Hessian with large binary data and other websites, but still dont know how to use it! How can I get an image too big from a server?

I'm currenty developing for blackberry and just bumped into this problem as i was trying to download an image from a server. The servlet which the device communicates with is working correctly, as I have made a number of tests for it. But it gives me the 413 HTTP error ("Request entity too large"). I figure i will just get the bytes, uhm, portion by portion. How can i accomplish this? C# GDI - How to check if a Pixel is opaque or not?

I am using a method to get a pixel of the image to check if this point is transparent or not. I am using GetPixel that returns a System.Drawing.Color with a 32bit color info. This struct have the "A" property where I can get the alpha value of pixel, according to this MSDN topic. Code: using (Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap(path)) { Color pixel = bmp.GetPixel(0, 0); if (pixel.A == 0) // This is a fully transparent pixel else // This is not a fully transparent pixel } When I use this method with a fully transparent PNG images it returns 0. When I run with a white semi-transparent images, it will give me other values starting on 1 and up to 86, where 86 are given for images with a 100% alfa (full opaque). But with opaque JPEG images, the "A" property are giving me all sort of values like 56, 71, 86, 129, and others, depending on image. But these pixels are fully opaques! How are the correct way to check if a pixel is opaque or not?

Making dynamic images have static filenames

My website currently has various links to a php script that generates the images dynamically. For example, the link may say "img source="/dynamic_images.php?type=pie-chart&color=red" Obviously, this is not great for SEO. I'd like to somehow make the filenames of these links appear to be static, and use a solution (like Mod-Rewrite) to ensure that the images can still be dynamically created. I suppose I could have something like "img src="average-profits-in-scuba-diving-industry.png?type=pie-chart&color=red" (and use Mod-Rewrite to take care of changing the filename prefix to dynamic_images.php), but I'm afraid that the search engines would shy away from the querystring on the end of the image filename. Any solutions? Thanks in advance.

What are all the special iPhone / iPod Touch HTML tags?

After peeking at the SO source, I noticed this tag: <link rel="apple-itouch-icon" href="/apple-touch-icon.png" /> Which after a quick Google revealed an Apple "favicon" type thing for display on your homepage ("WebClip Bookmark" to be exact). The only other one that jumps to mind is the: <input type="search" results="5"/> This type="search" causes the field to "inherit" the Apple search icon, and the optional results="x" enables a history of "x" keywords to be maintained. I'm therefore wondering, what other Apple/Safari (iPhone/iPod Touch) specific HTML tags and attributes are out there that I'm not aware of! Curious minds need to know!

Hi, I creating a program which send newsletter with a background image. It works fine on Office 2000-2003, thunderbird, but the background image does not show on Outlook 2007. I read that Microsoft changed the rendering engine and did not support the background css property (it is possible but only applied to the Body). Is it achievable to create an email which will render like that : http://www.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?a7905f7d16.png on Outlook 2007 ? What is the solution ? Thank you for your help.

Hi I am working on a locally served copy of a remote site and I don't want to have to download all the images rtelated to the site so I thought i could come up with a mod_rewrite rule for to grab images from the remote server if the are not found this is the code that i have <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [NC] RewriteRule ^/(.*\.(png|gif|jpg|jpeg)) https://www.exmple.com/$1 [NC,P,L] </IfModule> The page is still giving me 404's for images that are on the remote server, so this rule is not working. I do know that the htaccess is being processed because rules later in the IfModule mod_rewrite.c block are being used. (i simplified my code sample but this is the first rule in the IfModule mod_rewrite.c block)

Hi folks, If i have a request for a resource in my ASP.NET MVC1 (or 2) web app for a static resource, say ... an image or a javascript file or a css file ... does the .NET framework try and see if the request matches the route list ... and eventually can't find a controller for it? eg. Resource: /Content/Images/Foo.png Does this request go through my route list .. fails to match any controllers / actions to this request and then .. i donno ... attempt that path directly?

My client deals with government contracting so their website needs to be compatible with IE 8 and IE 7. I am using Modernizr with html5shiv built in. Windows Mobile 6.5 Running Program List Icon

I've got an windows mobile 6.5 application I'm developing and am having trouble with one icon. At the top right hand of the screen there is an icon that, when clicked, will display a list of programs running the background with the option to close them. When my program is in this list, it's icon does not show up as the others do. I'm my exe I've got an .ico for 16x16, 22x22, 32x32, 36x36, 44x44, 45x45, 60x60, and 64x64, with the optional 90x90 png and registry setting in my cab. What am I missing?
