• Pinging switch results in alternating high/low response times

  We have two switches that are behaving strangely. • jquery live event gets executed twice

  I am loading content into a page with ajax that will have live click events attached to them. It seems like the first time I load this content everything works as expected. If I load this again, the events fire twice (when put breakpoints in the code). What am I doing wrong? Is there a way I can clear the dom of these elements before they get loaded again?

  Hi, I'm developing an application on GlassFish v3 which uses Suns-RI of JavaEE6 and JSF2.0, etc. And the bad thing is, that no changes/switches away from Suns RI can be made (to use MyFaces or something like that). Now, the problem is, that I want to build HtmlDatatable by hand ( in Java code). The datatable should represent a java.util.Map where the first column should display the key and the second the values of the map. I've build successfully a PanelGrid from a java.util.List and used every time the "setExpressionValue" methods of UIComponent to bind the UI to the underlying List. But now, this doesn't work with the Map. Here is a snippet of my code: public HtmlDataTable getEntityDetailsDataTable() { ... • How to stop IE7 clearing floats because of width property

  I have a containing element with a number of floated elements in it. That containing element also has a percentage width value applied to it. In IE7, content following the element containing the floats is cleared because of the width value which gives it hasLayout (I think!). I don't want the containing element to haveLayout, but I do need it to have an explicit width. Is there a way of working around this problem in IE7, effectively forcing hasLayout=false.

  Hello, I have a malformed page to scrape, and have had a hard time getting the correct XPath for YQL. I can scrape individual fields that I need using, for example: //*[@id="cell_12345"] But what I really need to do is return all elements who's ID begins with cell_. Something like: //*[@id="cell_"*] How do I do this? Also, if anybody can point me to a good XPath reference it would be very helpful. Thanks!

  I'm trying to set up a JCarousel instance witht the wrap set to circular, however, I noticed an issue where I "inspect element" in Chrome, duplicate elements are added to the html when the slides repeat (it can be viewed on the official example page). http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarousel/examples/static_circular.html I know this is an open bug on GitHub.
