  How to make tags for multiple projects within one revision? For example, if it needs to tag with the same name: svn copy svn://localhost/BigProject/Project1/trunk svn://localhost/BigProject/Project1/tags/1.0.0 --message "1.0.0" svn copy svn://localhost/BigProject/Project2/trunk svn://localhost/BigProject/Project2/tags/1.0.0 --message "1.0.0" ... svn copy svn://localhost/BigProject/ProjectX/trunk svn://localhost/BigProject/ProjectX/tags/1.0.0 --message "1.0.0" But that snippet makes X revisions. So, how to make just one revision or how to integrate all in one? Another question is, how to commit similar modifications within one revision? TIA

• How do I make a multiple file upload?

  I am trying to make a multiple image uploader. The file upload fields are being added in the form dynamically using jquery. I tried making an array of the fields since I don't want to have a hidden field. so my generated upload fields look like <input type="file" id="img0" name="img[]"/> <input type="file" id="img1" name="img[]"/> <input type="file" id="img2" name="img[]"/> ..... .. And on the php side I did something like if(isset($_FILES['img'])) { foreach($_FILES['img'] as $k=>$v) { if($v!="") { uploadImage($k,0,0,0,"content/gallery/"); } } } Now I know I am way too wrong, since in that code I am looping through the 'img' file's properties instead of all images....but I have no idea how to fix this. PS: uploadImage is a function I wrote which expects the file input field's name as the first parameter.

• UI to allow 700+ multiple choices

  In my desktop .NET application I have written(for internal use) where I need to allow my users to apply diagnosis's to a Member Plan. There are currently 700 in the system and growing. I need to allow them to add multiple diapnosis's at once. I currently am allowing this through a combo check list box. This works but is INSANELY unweildly for both myself and the users. What I am looking for is a how I could go about displaying these to the users. Ideally I would need to show two criteria for each each as well. Diagnosis Name and Diagnosis Code Ideas? How would you tackle this? I am using .Net 3.5sp1 and SQL 2005 for the backend. I don't care if the solution is WPF or Winforms.

• C/C++ enums: Detect when multiple items map to same value

  Is there a compile-time way to detect / prevent duplicate values within a C/C++ enumeration? The catch is that there are multiple items which are initialized to explicit values. Background: I've inherited some C code such as the following: #define BASE1_VAL (5) #define BASE2_VAL (7) typedef enum { MsgFoo1A = BASE1_VAL, // 5 MsgFoo1B, // 6 MsgFoo1C, // 7 MsgFoo1D, // 8 MsgFoo1E, // 9 MsgFoo2A = BASE2_VAL, // Uh oh! 7 again... MsgFoo2B // Uh oh! 8 again... } FOO; The problem is that as the code grows & as developers add more messages to the MsgFoo1x group, eventually it overruns BASE2_VAL. This code will eventually be migrated to C++, so if there is a C++-only solution (template magic?), that's OK -- but a solution that works with C and C++ is better.

• Multiple selection in a TreeView

  I am using a Windows Forms TreeView control in my program. I would like to allow the user to select multiple nodes at the same level by dragging their mouse pointer around (also called a "lasso" selection). I don't think a standard TreeView allows that. My question is what would be the best way to achieve this? Do I have to write custom selection behaviour of my own in perhaps a custom or derived control? Where do I start? I don't need a detailed explanation. Just a small nudge in the right direction.

I am building a web application using Pyhton and Django which is question and multiple answers type. Once the users are login to website,they will be provided with random questions from datastore. What my requirement is if certain users want to form group so that they all can get the same set of random questions to answer,is this possible ?   I have a database that contains data for many "clients". Currently, we insert tens of thousands of rows into multiple tables every so often using .Net SqlBulkCopy which causes the entire tables to be locked and inaccessible for the duration of the transaction. As most of our business processes rely upon accessing data for only one client at a time, we would like to be able to load data for one client, while updating data for another client. To make things more fun, all PKs, FKs and clustered indexes are on GUID columns (I am looking at changing this). I'm looking at adding the ClientID into all tables, then partitioning on this. Would this give me the functionality I require?

  I want to send data to server by enclosing it in a form. However, in asp.net I can't use more than one form with runat=server attribute. Then what is the use of using multiple forms on asp.net page. I can't access the data on the server? Like facebook enclose each post feedback data in a form and then submits this to server. How to do this in asp.net. I have to send data to server when some action occurs on a post but will have to store hiddenfield and read it with javascript is it not seems messy?

  Hi, Is it possible to paqckage multiple rpms into one file. I have got two bundles one of which requires that the other be installed. I would like to create a single installable out of them in such a way that this installer will first invoke pkg 1 and then install pkg 2. Is this possible? What about deb packages? Sorry if it a basic question. I have not worked with installers on Linux before. I have created Windows installers. There you can create two merge modules (.msm) and package them into a standalone installer (.msi) and specify the order of execution. I am looking for similar functionality on Linux.

Since I may have 100 divs, I don't want to create a click handler for each (they'll all practically do the same thing).   Hi All, I am going through a weird problem while using lightbox . Where ever the new light box is used user is able to open the same light box on same page number of time. For e.g Using tab button go to `Lightbox link`. Press enter --> Light box will open. Press enter --> second light box open below the previous one. and so on....... The problem is occurred when I use tab and entered on the link my focus is not getting changed from the link and so user is able to open multiple lightbox on clicking enter.   I've seen various Grails plugins which allow easier handling of file uploads, however these tend only to support a single file per form-submit. I'd like a multi-attach form where as soon as you pick one file, an extra field and button is added using JS (various sites do it like this). Do you know of any good plugins which provide elegant uploading of multiple files without excessive coding? A progress bar either per-file of for the whole process would also be very nice. I don't know to what extent I can allow GORM to handle a java.io.File field (or in this case a Collection<File>).

  Hi-- I have a simple mySQL problem-- I have two tables, one is a user's table, and one is a photos table (each user can upload multiple photos). I'd like to write a query to join these tables, so I can pull all photos associated with a user (up to a certain limit). However, when I do something obvious like this: SELECT *.a, *.b FROM user_table a JOIN photos_table b ON a.id = b.userid it returns a.id, a.name, a.email, a.address, b.id, b.userid, b.photo_title, b.location but it only returns a single photo. Is there a way to return something like: a.id, a.name, a.email, a.address, b.id, b.userid, b.photo_title, b.location, b.id2, b.photo_title2, b.location2 etc. . . for a given LIMIT of photos?   Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to make an array which would have multiple types of data fields. So far I was using aMyArray: array of array [0..1] of TPoint; But now, it is not enough for me. I need to add 3 more elements to the existing 2 "Point" elements making it an array like aMyArray: array of (TPoint,TPoint,real,real,real) So each element of aMyArray would have 5 'children', 2 of which are of a TPoint type and 3 of them are 'real' type. Is this possible to implement somehow?

  Hello, I currently have the following js code function clearMulti(option) { var i; var select = document.getElementById(option.parentNode.id); for(i=1;i<select.options.length;i++) { select.options[i].selected=false; } } and function clearAllOpt(select) { select.options[0].selected = false; } The first one deselects all options in the multiple select when called and the second clears the first option whenever anything else is selected. The need for this is that the first option is for All. This all works fine and dandy in FF, but in IE8 nothing happens... any suggestions on how to get this to work in both? Thanks in advance.

The problem I'm facing is that from some reason the cookie file does not get read and I'm redirecting to the main login page. For each value in p_ids, I am looking to list the quantile.   I'm trying to write a Union Query with multiple columns from two different talbes (duh), but for some reason the second column of the second Select statement isn't showing up in the output. I don't know if that painted the picture properly but here is my code: Select empno, job From EMP Where job = 'MANAGER' Union Select empno, empstate From EMPADDRESS Where empstate = 'NY' Order By empno The output looks like: EMPNO JOB 4600 NY 5300 MANAGER 5300 NY 7566 MANAGER 7698 MANAGER 7782 MANAGER 7782 NY 7934 NY 9873 NY Instead of 5300 and 7782 appearing twice, I thought empstate would appear next to job in the output. For all other empno's I thought the values in the fields would be (null). Am I not understanding Unions correctly, or is this how they are supposed to work? Thanks for any help in advance.

To illustrate this better; the user provides three (3) pieces of information, username, password and data source name. This data source name is then looked-up in a central database telling that application which main database this user should connect to. My question is, in the DataAccess layer, should we only pass down enough information to uniquely identify that user, and query the central database each time in the DAL; or, should we provide another way to pass the datasource connection down to the DAL?

• Counting multiple rows in MySQL in one query

  I currently have a table which stores a load of statistics such as views, downloads, purchases etc. for a multiple number of items. To get a single operation count on each item I can use the following query: SELECT , COUNT() FROM stats WHERE operation = 'view' GROUP BY item_id This gives me all the items and a count of their views. I can then change 'view' to 'purchase' or 'download' for the other variables. However this means three separate calls to the database. Is it possible to get all three in one go?
