    I have my ASP.NET web.config set with impersonation <identity impersonate="true" userName="domainName\userName" password="userPassword" /> I'm running some a method like IO.Directory.GetFiles(somePath) And monitoring the file system access with Process Monitor I keep getting all the access requests from the aspnet_wp.exe process to the folder, as the ASPNET user. Why am I not seeing the access as the impersonated user?

    Hi, I'm looking for some help on deciding a useful folder stucture strategy for reporting service projects in TFS. Does any one have some suggestions on which way I should stucture TFS?     Hello guys, I would like to ask what is the ideal folder structure for a MVC framework that should be able to support multiple installations. For example, I install xyz framework and i run two or more sites based on this single installation of xyz framework rather than installing the framework for each site. This is probably done in Codeigniter too but i don't know much about CodeIgniter, so i need your suggestions. I know some of you might even have better idea than what is done by CodeIgniter, so please share.

    two questions: how do i compile a .java file that isn't on my username (like something in documents or some other sub folder) if i have multiple .java files and i compile one that contains method that are contained in the others does the compiler compile those other files. heres an example of the second question. example1.java: class example1 { main () { example2.method () } } example2.java: class example2 { method () } When i compile example1.java will example2.java also be compiled?

I need to migrate these docs into sharepoint, however a LOT of these folders and files have invalid characters that will not allow me to migrate into sharepoint (i.e. " / \ &, etc.) Is there any way to write something in C# that basically removes these invalid characters from all folders and files? This is what a URL to a public file in Dropbox looks like: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1234567/publikPholder/textytext.txt One would think that jumping up one level to the directory in the URL... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1234567/publikPholder/ ...would show all the public files. Nope. Nothing but a 404.

    Hi everybody, I develop a simple file manager inside an ASP.NET Web site (not web application). I notice that every time I rename or delete a folder, the site gets recompiled - i.e. the very next web request after delete or rename operation takes considerably much time to execute. It's only true for folders, not for files. Why does this occur? P.S. I use WebDev server (Cassini), haven't tested in on IIS yet.
