  hello, I want to write 2 programs with C# one work on PC, the other work on a windows mobile phone. So I want the PC program to send a signal via Bluetooth ( 1 byte maybe) to the windows mobile phone. and the mobile program (which work on background) handles and accepts this byte without the need of pairing. how to code this? please I need any kind of help.

  Hello How can I use the update() method on a single model which I retrieved via Queryset.get() ? It seems like model. Model doesn't have an update() method yet I cannot invoke .save() as I have a pre-save signals which messes things up. EDIT: An idea would be passing some parameter to the save method and catching it at the pre_save signal, so that I can understand the purpose, how can this be done ? Thanks

• GNU Emacs is crashing with -nw

  When I run emacs with -nw option, the emacs really open, but I can't do more nothing. As if the user input is blocked and no keyboard signal is received and/or interpreted. I've tried run without load .emacs file and some other behaviors: emacs -nw -Q --no-desktop --debug-ini foo.c But makes no difference and strangely the GUI-version(using Gtk) is working fine. My gnu-emacs version is GNU Emacs 23.3.1 Any help to help to fix it is very appreciated.

• Why do toast notifications die if delayed?

  I'm not sure this is the exact cause of my problem but I'll explain the 2 symptoms I noticed: If I put a break point on a Toast.makeText(..).show(), step over, then wait a few seconds before running, the toast will never appear. I have a location callback that tries to show a toast, but it never appears.   I'm trying to create a popup menu, where I can detect the mouse button that was pressed for a given item. I've created a custom QAction already to build my QMenu, but the triggered signal when the menu item is pressed doesn't provide a QMouseEvent for me to query the button pressed. Also, I'm setting the a status tip for each QAction, which appears in the status bar when I mouse over it, but it stays even after I close the QMenu. Is this normal behavior?

  Hello I have some code that is cross-platform by unsing #ifdef OS, I have a Queue protected by a CriticalSection on Windows, and by a pthread_mutex_t on Linux. I would like to implement a Wait(timeout) call that would block a thread until something has been enqueued. I though about using WaitForSingleObject on windows but it don't seem to support CriticalSection. Which Win32 and which Linux functions should I use to Wait and Signal for a condition to happen.
