  • phpmyadmin displays blank page after installing apc and memcached

    ii am running a lamp stack on centos 5.6 with php 5.3. i had installed phpmyadmin and it work. i was able to log in and do anything. Then i installed memcached and its php extension as well as apc and its php extension. i have restarted httpd and php info says that memcache and apc are installed and configured. My question is, why does php my admin now display a blank page after installing memcache and apc.

  • VMware Server 2.0 in Linux loads a blank screen at the login page

    I'm using VMware Server 2.0.1-156745.i386 for Linux on Ubuntu 8.10. When I run "vmware", it brings up what is supposed to be the login page in a browser, but it just loads a blank page. This is the address: https://127.0.0.1:8333/ui/ Sometimes the login page comes back if you reload it a bunch of times, but this time it won't. Doing this also doesn't help: /etc/init.d/vmware restart Does anyone know why this happens, and how to fix it?

  • WAMP - phpMyAdmin is loading a blank browser (Firefox)

    I recently uninstalled an older version of WAMP then installed the latest version. The link to the localhost displays the WAMPSERVER home page successfully. However, the http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ returns only a blank browser - it displays nothing. localhost/sqlitemanager/ returns a Forbidden You don't have permission to access /sqlitemanager/ on this server. This seems to be a 403 forbidden error I've looked everywhere for an answer to this. Help please

    This fresh video from NASA provides the clearest view of the Earth at night ever seen, thanks to the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership Satellite. Check out the video and accompanying pics to see the stunning views. In daylight our big blue marble is all land, oceans and clouds. But the night – is electric. This view of Earth at night is a cloud-free view from space as acquired by the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership Satellite (Suomi NPP). A joint program by NASA and NOAA, Suomi NPP captured this nighttime image by the satellite’s Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS). The day-night band on VIIRS detects light in a range of wavelengths from green to near infrared and uses filtering techniques to observe signals such as city lights, gas flares, and wildfires. This new image is a composite of data acquired over nine days in April and thirteen days in October 2012. It took 312 satellite orbits and 2.5 terabytes of data to get a clear shot of every parcel of land surface. This video uses the Earth at night view created by NASA’s Earth Observatory with data processed by NOAA’s National Geophysical Data Center and combined with a version of the Earth Observatory’s Blue Marble: Next Generation.   • Mission 26 Captures Endeavour’s Last Trip in Stop Motion

    On September 21, 2012 the Space Shuttle Endeavour was delivered to the Los Angeles International Airport and spent the next three days being slowly transported 12 miles to the California Science Center. One dedicated team of photographers captured the whole thing. Lead by Matthew Givot, the group followed the shuttle for three straight days, photographing it around the clock. The Endeavor started on Thursday night and went on until Sunday night, with very little sleep to no sleep. The only thing that kept us going was pure love of the art and adrenaline. One thing that stood out the most for me, while I was shooting, was the people of Los Angeles. It was so powerful to see the excitement on peoples faces and the pride of their home town. No matter how many times I would see the Shuttle it would never get old. This has been an amazing experience that I will never forget. My hope is that this film will show you the amount of dedicated people and teamwork that it took to get the Endeavour to its new home. Enjoy.   • Show blank UITableViewCells in custom UITableView

    I am trying to customize a UITableView. So far, it looks good. But when I use a custom UITableViewCell sub-class, I do not get the blank table cells when there's only 3 cells: Using the default TableView style I can get the repeating blank rows to fill the view (for example, the mail application has this). I tried to set a backgroundColor pattern on the UITableView to the same tile background: UIColor *color = [UIColor colorWithPatternImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"score-cell-bg.png"]]; moneyTableView.backgroundColor = color; ...but the tile starts a bit before the TableView's top, so the tile is off once the actual cell's are done displaying: How can I customize my tableview but still keep the blank rows if there's less rows than fill a page?

  • msysGit: Why does git log output blank lines?

    It appears to insert less blank lines the closer I type the command to the bottom of the terminal window. If I type it at the top of the terminal window, it inserts nearly a full window height of blank lines; if I type it at the very bottom, no blank lines are inserted. It seems like the pager program is pushing output to the bottom of the terminal window, but I want the output to be right below my command or at the top, like in Linux git. I can get expected behavior by using git --no-pager log, but what if I want to use a pager?

    Hi I have seen a few posts regarding Session and using target blank to open a new page. But I still don´t get it. Im working with an application which opens from a link on an Intranet site. I guess it uses target blank to get it in a new window. (I don´t have the source). If both windows are closed (My application and the Intranet site) it seems like the Session is destroyed. I need that to happen when my application is closed. (ie, still leaving the Intranet site open). If I use the site in my testenvironment without opening it from a page with target blank, it seems like I get the expected behaviour. Web.config has: pages enableSessionState="true" Thanks

    Hi, I want to generate a pdf report, where a column(or cell/field) is left blank(empty) on purpose. This column actually does have a value but, I'm choosing not to display it. The column title still needs to be displayed. Example of where this could be useful: Blank(empty) column: A comments or notes column down one side of a report.     I am trying to typeset a large document using ReportLab and Python 2.7. It has a number of sections (about 6 in a 1,000 page document) and I would like each to start on odd-numbered/right-hand page. I have no idea though whether the preceding page will be odd or even and so need the ability to optionally throw an additional blank page before a particular paragraph style (like you sometimes get in manuals where some pages are "intentionally left blank"). Can anyone suggest how this could be done, as the only conditional page break I can find works on the basis of the amount of text on the page not a page number. I also need to make sure that the blank page is included in the PDF so that double-sided printing works.

Lets say I have this line in the XML <country>Dominican Republic</country> I would like to get my table to look like this <td class="country DominicanRepublic">Dominican Republic</td> I've tried this: <td class="country {country}"><xsl:value-of select="country"/></td> then this: <xsl:element name="td"> <xsl:attribute name="class"> <xsl:text>country </xsl:text> <xsl:value-of select="normalize-space(country)"/> </xsl:attribute> <xsl:value-of select="country"/> </xsl:element> The normalize-space() doesn't remove the space between the two parts of the name and I can't use <xsl:strip-space elements="country"/> because I need the space when I display the name inside the table cell. How can I strip the space from the value inside the class, but not the text in the cell?

    Microsoft Vista came with a free collaboration tool called Windows Meeting Space, which is not included in Windows 7 Enterprise nor can I find a stand alone link to download. Is there a similar tool included in Windows 7 that I'm missing or a replacement Microsoft product (perhaps Microsoft SharedView) that you would recommend? Ideally a tool that is compatabile with our existing Vista Windows Meeting Space users.

    When I tried to do a Windows Vista Complete PC Backup, I received an error message that blathered about bad sectors. Then, when I ran chkdsk /r on the destination drive, this is what I got: C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /R E: The type of the file system is NTFS. Volume label is Desktop Backup. CHKDSK is verifying files (stage 1 of 5)... 822016 file records processed. An unspecified error occurred.f 822000 files processed) Yet, when I ran the SeaTools short & long generic tests on the Seagate disk, I didn't receive any errors. I know that I could reformat the disk and try running chkdsk /r again but I'd prefer to avoid waiting 4 hours in the hope that the problem was magically fixed. On the other hand, if I RmA the drive to Seagate, I have no SeaTools error number to use and they may claim that the drive is just fine. What should I try to do next? Side frustration: There is plenty of free hard drive space. The E: partition has 182 GB free.

Can you point out an app or script (i don't wanna install powershell, is this doable???) that copies some larger files from one folder to another to get the free space out of the multiple of 4Gb range.   • Merging free space of hard drive to primary partition

    I have purchased a new HDD, I tried to format making 1 primary partition, I converted the rest unallocated space to extended partition then to logical drive now I have 3 logical drives. I feel that the size allocated to the primary partition is less so I used shrink option to the 3 logical partitions in diskmgmt but each partition is resulting in one memory block of Free space. Now I want to merge these free spaces to my primary partition.

    Is there any way to create a 2-dimensional virtual desktop space in Ubuntu? The only control I'm seeing is the number of virtual desktops, but they seem to only go in a line. I'm used to having a 2-dimensional space (so I can go up/down/left/right instead of just left/right), and I'd really like to have that in ubuntu as well.

    I am running Windows 7 Ultimate (w/ SP1), and have multiple UI languages installed - mainly for screenshots etc. Among them are Chinese (traditional) and Chinese (Simplified), which insist on hooking the CTRL+Space key even though I have disabled / overridden these hotkey assignments under Language Bar settings / Advanced key settings. (It conflicts with CTRL+Space in the Visual Studio IDE, and is pretty annoying beyond that.) Any ideas?

  • Suppress "running out of disk space" Message (per drive) on Windows Server 2003

    We have a database server with separate drives for OS, various data files and the transaction log. Our transaction log spills over onto other volumes as well- this is expected behavior. The problem is that we are constantly getting popups that our transaction log drive is out of space (and that I can free space by deleting old or unnecessary files). Is there some way to prevent this message from popping up for this particular drive?

  • Oracle 10 g - Unable to free up space in tablespace

    The tablespace in Oracle 10g is almost 100% used. Size (MB) = 571,768.0 Used (MB) = 571,534.0 I just deleted (and committed) thousands of records in a table that belongs to a schema associated with that tablespace. Surprisingly, no space was freed up according to the Tablespaces page on Enterprise Manager. Question: is there anything that I need to do to force Oracle to release the space corresponding to the deleted records?
