  I am just starting to learn about the code contracts library that comes standard with VS2010. One thing I am running into right away is what some of the contract clauses really mean. For example, how are these two statements different? Contract.Requires(!mycollection.Any(a => a.ID == newID)); Contract.Requires(!Contract.Exists(mycollection, a => a.ID == newID)); In other words, what does Contract.Exists do in practical purposes, either for a developer using my function, or for the static code analysis system?

  I have a textarea which users can enter some tags. I need to limit this tags to 20 tags.   I have an array that is many levels deep and I am wondering what is the best way to get one of the child element values that is deep in my array. I assume I need to use a recursive method, but what is the best way to do this? Or is there a faster way to do this? The array comes from an XML Parser that I am using which builds everything into an array like this (using NSLog to show the structure): { children = ( { children = ( { children = ( { children = ( ); data = 12; element = AssetID; } ); data = ""; element = "ns1:GetUserIdByUsernameResponse"; } ); data = ""; element = "SOAP-ENV:Body"; } ); data = ""; element = "SOAP-ENV:Envelope"; } What I would like to get at is the AssetID data, which in this case is 12.

I have 3 tables : Product (with product's price) Invoice (with invoice id) Products on invoice (with invoice id, product id and number of particular products) So in my query I take invoice_id (from invoice), price (from product),number of products sold and invoice_id (from products on invoice) and calculate their product in fourth column.   I'm having great difficulty trying to find how to simply get the text of one specific item in a ComboBox. I have cmbSelectedHinge as a dropdownlist style. All I need is to know what the text is in position 0. I would have thought simply: MsgBox(cmbSelectHinge.Items.IndexOf(0)) but no. It returns "-1" even though there is a line of text in it.   Hello, I need to write a PHP script that will print out results from a MySQL database. For example, say I have 9 fields. Field 1 is an auto increasing number, field two is a three digit number. I need to be able to have a script read, find the matching number (it'll be from a POST), and then display all matching three digit results, and the 7 other fields as well.   I'm in a situation where I must output a quite large list of objects by a CharField used to store street addresses. My problem is, that obviously the data is ordered by ASCII codes since it's a Charfield, with the predictable results .. it sort the numbers like this; 1, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 2, 20, 21.... Now the obvious step would be to change the Charfield the proper field type (IntegerField let's say), however it cannot work since some address might have apartments .. like "128A". I really don't know how I can order this properly ..
