  • treeview binding wpf cannot bind nested property in a class

    Hi all New to wpf and therefore struggling a bit. I am putting together a quick demo before we go for the full implementation I have a treeview on the left with Continent Country City structure when a user select the city it should populate some textboxes in a tabcontrol on the right hand side I made it sort of work but cannot make it work with composite objects. In a nutshell can you spot what is wrong with my zaml or code. Why is not binding to a my CityDetails.ClubsCount or CityDetails.PubsCount?   • C++: Declaration of template class member specialization (+ Doxygen bonus question!)

    When I specialize a (static) member function/constant in a template class, I'm confused as to where the declaration is meant to go. Here's an example of what I what to do - yoinked directly from IBM's reference on template specialization: template<class T> class X { public: static T v; static void f(T); }; template<class T> T X<T>::v = 0; template<class T> void X<T>::f(T arg) { v = arg; } template<> char* X<char*>::v = "Hello"; template<> void X<float>::f(float arg) { v = arg * 2; } int main() { X<char*> a, b; X<float> c; c.f(10); // X<float>::v now set to 20 } The question is, how do I divide this into header/cpp files? The generic implementation is obviously in the header, but what about the specialization? It can't go in the header file, because it's concrete, leading to multiple definition. But if it goes into the .cpp file, is code which calls X::f() aware of the specialization, or might it rely on the generic X::f()? So far I've got the specialization in the .cpp only, with no declaration in the header. I'm not having trouble compiling or even running my code (on gcc, don't remember the version at the moment), and it behaves as expected - recognizing the specialization. But A) I'm not sure this is correct, and I'd like to know what is, and B) my Doxygen documentation comes out wonky and very misleading (more on that in a moment). It will always present only the first definition it finds of a function/constant, and I really need to be able to present the specializations as well.     So I've got an assignment I think I'm more or less done with, but there is something which is messing up the output badly somewhere down the line, or even the calculation, and I don't see where the problem is. The assignment is to make a game in which a certain ammount of players run up through a tunnel towards a spot,where they will stop and spin around it,and then their dizziness is supposed to make them randomly either progress towards goal or regress back towards start.And each time they get another spot closer to goal,they get another "marking",and it goes on like this until one of them reaches goal.     I've implemented some of the changes suggested in this question, and (thanks very much) it works quite well, however... in the process I've seemed to break the post-declaration assignment operator.     Is anyone aware of an org-sort function / modification that can refile / organize a group of TODO so that it sorts them by three (3) criteria: first sort by due date, second sort by priority, and third sort by by title of the task? EDIT: I believe that org-sort by deadline (?d) has a bug that cannot properly handle undated tasks. I am working on a workaround (i.e., moving the undated todo to a different heading before the deadline (?d) sort occurs), but perhaps the best thing to do would be to try and fix the original sorting function.   • Silverlight: After adding table no datacontext classes are available for the new DomainService class

    I'm using a Silverlight 4 WCF RIA Services demo application that uses LinqToSql, that works well. I add a new database table, move the new table to the LinqToSql designer and build the project I add a new DomainService class I get a dialog with the only option to create an empty DomainService and no DataContext classes are available.     With the SoapClient class on PHP5.x and working against a SOAP web service that has optional parameters in its methods, you won't have any problem if you use the non-wsdl mode. But, at least by default, with the wsdl mode, if you don't fill all the parameters you will get an error like: SOAP-ERROR: Encoding: object hasn't 'xxx' property Is there any way to avoid that error without working with the non-wsdl mode and without filling all the parameters?

    Upon compiling, I am getting the following error: C:\UDK\UDK-2010-03\Development\Src\FixIt\Classes\ZInteraction.uc(41) : Error, Unrecognized member 'OpenMenu' in class 'GameUISceneClient' Line 41 is the following: GetSceneClient().OpenMenu("ZInterface.ZNLGWindow"); But when I search for OpenMenu, I find that it is indeed defined in GameUISceneClient.uc of the UDK: Line 1507: exec function OpenMenu( string MenuPath, optional int PlayerIndex=INDEX_NONE ) It looks like I have everything correct. So what's wrong? Why can't it find the OpenMenu function?
