• Determine the relative complement of two IEnumerable<T> sets in .NET

  Is there an easy way to get the relative complement of two sets? Perhaps using LINQ? I have to find the relative compliment of a set A relative to B. Both A and B are of type HashSet<T> but I think the algorithm could be made more general (IEnumerable<T> or even ISet<T>)? I could use a solution in either VB.NET or C#.

  I use a lot of UINavigationControllers in my app. I am using a UIColor to set the tintcolor of the navigationBar. This works as expected, but I am trying to find an easy way to set a default tintcolor for all UINavigationControllers. What is the best way to do this? Is it subclassing the UINavigationController, or is there something better? Thanks for the help.

  I'd like to have my PHP script upload a file with a certain filename in a directory of my choosing. However, the catch is that I need it to exist there immediately upon upload so I can moniter it on my server. I don't want to use a PHP extension or something - this should be very easy to transfer to any PHP setup. I want to send in an user id, and return all the id's from the other user when the sent user is either user1 or user2. • Cleaning an XML file in Python before parsing

  I'm using minidom to parse an xml file and it threw an error indicating that the data is not well formed. I figured out that some of the pages have characters like ไอเฟล &, causing the parser to hiccup. Is there an easy way to clean the file before I start parsing it? Right now I'm using a regular expressing to throw away anything that isn't an alpha numeric character and the </> characters, but it isn't quite working.
