• HTML5: Can an SQlite database be specified in a manifest's Cache section?

  I'd like to be able to specify an SQLite database as a resource in the CACHE section of a manifest file. This would allow the script on the page to use the database in offline mode. I cannot find anything in the HTML5 spec that says this cannot be done, but I haven't had any success in getting it working either. Is it possible?

• Is "campaign_$" a bad name for a SQL column?

  PostgreSQL has allowed me to name a column "campaign_$". I like the name because it's short and to the point, and other potential names like "campaign_receipts" seem longer and less clear. BUT, I wonder if I'll eventually regret putting a $ symbol in a column name, either in PHP or in some other distant part of the architecture. Should I just stick to letters and underscores? Thanks!

• Prevent monitor from powering on

  I'm turning off the monitor using SendMessage(HWND_BROUADCART, WM_SYSCOMMAND, SC_MONITORRPOWER, 2). That works, but the monitor turns back on when someone touches the keyboard or mouse. I tried to get rid of this using the DevicePowerSetDeviceState function with DEVICEPOWER_CLEAR_WAKEENABLED for the keyboard and mouse: it returns no error, but has no effect either. How can I prevent the monitor from powering back on in Vista and Windows7?

• Win32 C++ Import path based on OS?

  I'm working with some legacy code that has an import like so: #import "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ado\msado15.dll" rename("EOF", "EndOfFile") The problem is, on a x64 machine the path for this import is in the 'Program Files (x86)' directory. Is there a preprocessor macro I can wrap around this to make it work on either? Edit: I think I found it. _M_X64, but im not 100% sure if this is correct.

• SharePoint 2010 - Change table row /cell hover effect

  In SharePoint 2010 when you hover over a column heading (i.e. to sort) in a list table, you get a hover effect, how can you supress / change this? I can see it uses OnChildColumn(this), so is there a way to modify this - either preventing the effect (e.g. when sorting can't be done on a column), or using a different background image? Also want to do the same when you hover over a cell in any of the list table's contents.

  I know php scripts don't actually compile until they are run. However say I want to create a small simple program and compile it to a binary without requiring the php binary. How could I do this? I'v seen a few IDE's out there that would do this, but either they are all for windows or the linux versions don't actually build properly.   If I'm looking to sell my app in other markets other than the U.S. on both Android and iOS, do I need to do anything inside the app coding-wise? I don't imagine that I need to but I just want to make sure. Also, while I'm at it, how do I collect on international app purchases considering they are in another currency? Looks like GraphKit isn't an option, so it's up to the programmer to either write his own library (using OpenGL, I guess), or an existing library.   I have installed Windows7 on my computer, and I had to change all permissions/take ownership - which apparently "touched" all my files, and now everything appears to be "modified" (when I do "hg status").
