i need to remove content after using dreamweaver find & replace in multiple files (different content). how can i do that?. will regularexpression solve this issue?
hi.
Can you recommend efficient/clean way to manipulate arbitrary length bit array?
right now I am using regular int/char bitmask, but those are not very clean when array length is greater than datatype length.
std vector<bool> is not available for me.
thanks

When load in Firebugs, it gives me this error:
TypeError: $(".open_gene").on is not a function
[Break On This Error]
$(".open_gene").on('change', function(event) {
However, if I type in this expression in Firebug's console, it can be evaluated as a function without any problems:
>>> $(".open_gene").on
function()
I was wondering what might be the reason to cause this issue.
Does anyone have ideas about this? Thanks!
I'm writing a program which needs to traverse a set of directories. Tried to use the following code:
file.eachDirMatch(/.*[^.svn]/){
//some code here
}
But that ended up match none of my directories. I realize this boils down figuring out the right regex hang head in shame but even after revisiting some Java RegularExpression documentation I thought this should work.
After finishing my C++ class it seemed to me the structs/classes are virtually identical except with a few minor differences.
I've never programmed in C before; but I do know that it has structs. In C is it possible to inherit other structs and set a modifier of public/private?
If you can do this in regular C why in the world do we need C++? What makes classes different from a struct?
Hi all!
I can use getFunctionNameExpression() to get the function name as a expression. But i don't know how to get the name string from it. Any help ? thank you very much.
Hello,
I am trying to get the Treemap plugin (http://www.jquery.info/spip.php?article40) working with jQuery v1.3.x. The plugin works with jQuery v1.1 and v1.2 but for some reason it fails with the v1.3 base.
This is the browser error "Error: uncaught exception: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: "
Does anyone know changes occurred between JQuery v1.2 and v1.3 that could cause this?
Cheers,
D
Given a situation where there are three branches, A, B and C, where A is merged to both B and C on a regular basis. From time to time B is merged to C. With Subversion, B apparently must be removed and recreated after every merge to C. This raises groans from colleagues, but would any alternative do any better? It would seem to me that Mercurial would not. Perhaps Git?
Does anyone else run into this problem?
Hi,
I do the validation through configuration files.
But, RegexValidator does not work properly.
This Validator not disciplined even to unknown regular expression!!
Do you know about this problem?
Many thanks!!!
I believe the expression T() creates an rvalue (by the Standard)
However the following code compiles (at least on gcc4.0)
class T {... };
int main()
{
T() = T();
}
I know technically this is possible because member functions can be invoked on temporaries and the above is just invoking the operator= on the r-value temporary created from T().
But conceptually this is like assigning a new value to an r-value.
Is there a good reason why this is allowed?
I'm making a new php page and I get the error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function phpinclude_once() in /home8/nuventio/public_html/marketing/pb2/dashboard.php on line 1
I'm not sure why I'm getting this error, I've done previous pages the same way as this with no problems. This is the line in question:
<?php
include_once("../utils.php");
?>
After that it just goes into regular HTML code. It works fine without that line.
I am performing actions on the page during WatiN tests. What is the neatest method for asserting certain elements are where they should be by evaluating the HTML source? I am scraping the source but looking for a clean way to navigate the tags pulled back.
UPDATE: Right now I am thinking about grabbing certain elements within HTML source using regular expressions and then analysing that to see if other elements exist within. Other thoughts appreciated.
Given the following text:
This is!!xa simple string!xpattern
I would like to get a regexp that matches the !x that's between "string" and "pattern" but not !!xa that's between "is" and "a".
This regexp is to be used inside a string split().
I have tried several combinations but I cannot get a regexp that meets my needs. Perhaps my expression is not so regular after all =)
Thanks in advance!
As I know, C inline function body should be defined in .h file
because it causes an error 'function-name used but never defined" if body defined in .c file.
Is this the regular way? Or how to define inline function body in .c file?
Vim is my editor of choice, and I feel I am above average in my use of it. I do recognize, though, that the feature list of vim is huge. With this in mind, I was wondering what features you vim users out there use on a regular basis.
Hello,
I write simple application in C++/Qt. And i have a text and some octal number in it. My app splits this text by spaces. And i need to check octal numbers from text. How can i select octal numbers from this text with regular expressions?
Thank you.
I'm looking for a remote desktop client that works as a webapp, similar to Citrix or WebEx. Are there any open-source projects that do this? Need to mainly to be able to access Windows machines using a regular browser.
Thanks!
I'm making an AJAX call in my symfony project, so it has an sf_format of 'js'. In the actionSuccess.js.php view, I call get_partial to update the content on the page. By default it looks for the partial in 'js' format since the sf_format is still set as 'js'. Is it possible to override the sf_format so that it uses the regular 'html' partial that I already have (so that I don't have to have two identical partials)?
I simply want to include a row number against the returned results of my query.
I found the following post that describes what I am trying to achieve but gives me an exception
http://vaultofthoughts.net/LINQRowNumberColumn.aspx
"An expression tree may not contain an assignment operator"
In MS SQL I would just use the ROWNUMBER() function, I'm simply looking for the equivalent in LINQ.
In the context of functional programming, a typical example of a side effect is "launch the missiles". I was just wondering where that expression comes from historically.
Hi everyone,
Is_numeric() as well as is_int() returns false if the value is 0. What can i do instead to verify that a specific value is numbers only in PHP?
Are we heading straight for the Regular Expressions camp, or are there some nice, handy feature for this out there already?
Thanks!
putStrLn "Enter the Artist Name"

putStrLn "Enter the Number of CD's"

buyItem currentStockBase "Akon" 20
but i want to send "Akon" to art and for 20 i want to send num
it gives me this error

I would like to have a regular textbox on my form, where the selected text is still highlighted even if you use another control, e.g. push a button.
Does anyone know a way to achieve this (without using a RichTextBox which is not suitable for what I am doing).
Thanks in Advance
I'm trying to use python to copy a tree of files/directories.
is it possible to use copytree to copy everything that ends in foo?
There is an ignore_patterns patterns function, can I give it a negated regular expression? Are they supported in python?
eg.
copytree(src, dest, False, ignore_pattern('!*.foo'))
Where ! means NOT anything that ends in foo.
thanks.
Does mod_rewrite work for windows servers too? If not, how does windows use regular expressions the same way you can using the .htaccess file in Apache?
