  I have an .htaccess file: In this file it redirects to index.php in case a file or directory is not found. My code is as below: <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?/$1 [L] </IfModule> Everything is working fine with this code. Now when I get Forbidden error(403), I would like it to be redirect to index.php. Do you have an idea how to write an .htaccess file for this purpose?

  I shall start with an example. I want to restrict to POST requests only for http://path/to/logical/abc.xml and restrict to GET only for http://path/to/logical/def.xml. How do I put constraints like this as the paths are logical and location directive is not supported in .htaccess? The actual problem is to set different authentication type(basic, digest) on diff logical file.for eg. for abc.xml I want to authenticate for Basic type of authentication and def.xml with digest.

• Hide .desktop files from shares in VirtualBox

  I share my desktop with VirtualBox. It allows me to work on current files in a nice easy way. I have quite a few utility launchers on my desktop. It's only a dozen or so at peak time but it makes navigating the list of real files a little harder when I'm working from Windows. I was wondering if there was a way of excluding the files from the share. Either at VirtualBox (I've no idea where it keeps its samba configuration -- or if it actually uses samba at all for that matter) or in Windows.

• What's the best way to handle numerous recurring log entries in game loop?

  I have a custom logging system, use of which is scattered all over the engine and game. The system is linked to a "LogStore" that has an std::vector<string> logs[NUM_LOG_TYPES] - each vector corresponds with it's log type (info, error, debug, etc.). There's one extra std::vector that has "coordinates" to all log entries in the order they were received. Now, all the logging output is also displayed inside my development console in the game. The game console is handled by HTML-type GUI and therefore requires a new <p> element being added for each log output. My problem is that the log entries that are generated in the main loop each frame freeze the engine, because they continue to add elements to the in-game console, and if the console or guy generates a warning - that creates an infinite logging loop. I want to solve it by handling the recurring log entries in an elegant way that lets you know that something is critically wrong, but won't freeze the engine - like displaying the count of errors in the last 60 frames instead of displaying errors themselves. But how do you guys handle this? Does anyone know any nifty tricks to do this? I understand the question may sound vague, but if someone came across this type of issue I'm sure they would know exactly what's happening. Example problematic log entries: OpenGL warnings (I actually do check for errors every frame in many places) Really any prints anywhere in the main loop (may be debugging, may be warnings)

• System.getProperty("user.dir") cannot get my project root path ,but the path which my eclipse is located

  As the title goes , I have class named GetException.java,inside it ,I read a xml file in a static code block like(Because this document is shared): static{ ... document = db.parse(new File(System.getProperty("user.dir")+"/src/exception/ExceptionCode.xml")); ... } To test if the file path is correct, I write a main function just inside GetException.java, it proves that the path is correct ,xml file can be read successfully. My project root dir is "/home/wuchang/workspace/MongodbI". But When this Class is loaded from other class,such as I called one of its static functions , it reports the error message: /home/mrs/??/eclipse/src/exception/ExceptionCode.xml (No such file or directory) /home/mrs/??/eclipse/ is actually my eclipse installation directory.So , I wander how System.getProperty("user.dir") returned the eclipse installation directory to me ,instead of my project root directory?

• Files Not Uploading

  So I'm running wordpress. I will make changes to theme files and upload them successfully but none of the changes show up on the actual website. At first I thought it was the wrong theme but I have specific theme files I created that are in there so I'm using the right theme. Then I thought it was a server problem and maybe the companies server are down so I checked a few other websites and updated information just fine. All on linux servers. Then I jumped to Wordpress to make sure it wasn't a wordpress problem but I can update the files fine from their Admin Panel. I checked to make sure it wasn't Filezilla Caches or Browser Caches so I cleared them both. What could be the problem? If it had to deal with the Filezilla client permissions I imagine I would get an error upon uploading but it uploads just fine. Suggestions would be extremely helpful I have no clue.

  I am thinking of subscribing to Dropbox which is slightly more costly than Ubuntu one but I need access to my files on the go, and I prefer to use my smartphone to my netbook most of the time as I like to travel light. I do not want to stream music, I want access to my files only. Whereas there is a free app for Dropbox to access said files, there isn't one for Ubuntu. I would be prepared to wait a while if you have got this in hand, have you actually given this any thought? Please tell me whether I should ignore Ubuntu One and link up with Dropbox?

• Duplicate DNS Zones (Error 4515 in Event Log )

  I am getting these two error in the DNS Event log (errors at end of question). I have confirmed I do have duplicate zones. I am wondering which ones to delete. The DomainDNSZone contains all of our DNS records but it does not have the _msdcs zone.... that is in the ForestDNSZone with the duplicates that are not in use. here is a picture of that 3 Questions. I understand the advantages of having DNS in the ForestDNSZone. so... Why is DNS using the DomainDNSZone and is that acceptable considering _msdcs... is in the ForestDNSZone? If so, should I just delete the DC=1.168.192.in-addr.arpa and DC=supernova.local from the ForestDNSZone? Or should I try to get those to be the ones in use? What are those steps? I understand how to delete. That is simple but if i must move zones some info would be appreaciated there. Just to confirm. from my understanding. I can delete the two duplicates in the ForestDNSZone and leave the _msdcs.supernova.local as thats required there. This will resolve the erros I see. Just fyi when I look in those folders from the ForestDNSZone they have just 2 and 1 entries respectively. So obviously not in use compared to the others. I am pretty sure I understand the steps to complete this. But if you would like to provide that info, bonus points!   I am setting up a spring mvc web application + hibernate jpa + maven from scratch using Eclipse Indigo. I am stuck in this error when doing a Maven build.
