  • Convert Json date string to JavaScript date object

    Hi, I have the following JSON object which has a date field in the following format: { "AlertDate": "\/Date(1277334000000+0100)\/", "Progress": 1, "ReviewPeriod": 12 } I want to write a regular expression or a function to convert it to a javascript object so that it is in the form: { "AlertDate": "AlertDate":new Date(1277334000000), "Progress": 1, "ReviewPeriod": 12 } The above date format fails validation in the JQuery parseJSON method. I would like to convert the 1277334000000+0100 into the correct number of milliseconds to create the correct date when eval is called after validation. Can anyone help me out with a good approach to solving this? Cheers Paul

    I have a rspec mocked object, a value is assign to is property. I am struggleing to have that expectation met in my rspec test. Just wondering what the sytax is?     Hi, I am getting string value in object let say "28/05/2010". While i am converting it in to DateTime it is throwing exception as : String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.     Base on the documentation and sample code that I have gone through, I got an impression that when a class defined in xcode is read into and configured in Interface Builder, an object based on the class is effectively created and stored in an xib or nib file. So the object is ready to be used when the corresponding application is launched. Alternatively, for classes that have not been handled by Interface Builder, code such as the "new" statements have to be written in xcode explicitly in order for the associated objects to be created and used. It will be very nice to have people who are more knowledgable than me to confirm or to correct my very naive understanding of Interface Builder ...

    I've written a custom plugin for CKEditor--successful on all fronts, save one currently: I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to customize the image on the button in the toolbar of the editor. As I'm a new user, you'll have to click through to see attached image; the highlighted square in the top left should have a pretty picture (like most of the other toolbar items).   • Getting hold of a reference to the object created by JOptionPane static methods

    Hi, I wonder if it is possible to get hold of a reference to the (JDialog?) object created by one of those static methods of JOptionPane (e.g. showMessageDialog)? I intend to modify the position where the dialog appears on the screen. More specifically, I want the dialog to appear at the top-left corner of the main app window, instead of the centre of the window by default. So having a reference to the object would enable me to use setLocation to achieve the desired effect... Any suggestion would be appreciated! Thanks!

  • Symfony: Pass an object from another module to a form

    I have a symfony project and I have one model, which for this example I will name Boat. From the Boat's showSuccess page, I would like to make a link to another model's form page. For this example we will call it Ticket. When they click on the link, I would like for the Boat object to be passed to the Ticket form because I have to display some of that specific Boat's fields (title, price, etc) on the Ticket form page (newSuccess.php). I guess my question is, how do I pass an object (as a variable) to another model's "new" form page. I have looked everywhere and I can't seem to find an answer that works for me. Thank you!

  • Xcode automatically converts the object to NSArray

    I have been working on an app and during the development, I am facing a very strange problem. I have a NSMutableArray tempSortedArray, which is full of objects of Store types. All the objects are valid as I can see them in my GUI, the problem arises when I iterate through the array, at index 90, which can be generally anyone, the XCode converts the Store object to NSMutableArray object. Any idea, why this is happening.     Anyone know of any controls that you can add to your application to allow the user to check out the content of an object? I'm thinking of something like QuickWatch in Visual Studio, just list all properties of an object and its values and allow the user to drill down. I started writing one using reflection but it turned out be a lot of work to handle different kind of collections. This functionality would be used for debugging purposes mostly and not by regular users. I prefer WPF but Winforms would work as well.

    Hi, I have followed some advices I got here today and would need a bit more help now: I have an user control with login logic. In mainForm I am using this: private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { LoginScreen login = new MainMenu(); login.Parent = this; login.Dock = DockStyle.Fill; login.Show(); } But I guess it is not modal and thus does not stop the original Form application. Sure I would need the main Form to do not continue until the login form is closed (and login sucessfull). Would using an event correct? Let login object to raise an event that login was successfull and let the MainForm handle it - run the app?

As we can see from the picture with the suggestion of all the different return data the user can get confused and choose wrong return data for some of the methods. So my question is how can i improve this. so Visual studio suggest just the belonging return data type for each method.
