  • Finding data file location while using Microsoft Test Framework

    I have been using NUnit and now I am switching to the Microsoft Unit Test frame work. In my test project I have a folder called TestData and I kept all my test input data files there. I want to use that files for my unit testing. In my test code, I am using Application name space and assembly name space but I can not get to the data folder directly until unless I write a code to find and replace some string to point to the data folder. I am sure someone might have run into the same problem, is the solution to change the path through program or is there a API call which will let us get to executing assembly folders? Thanks,

    I have the following function which takes a list and returns two sublists split at a given element n. However, I only need to split it in half, with odd length lists having a larger first sublist splitlist :: [a] -> Int -> ([a],[a]) splitlist [] = ([],[]) splitlist l@(x : xs) n | n > 0 = (x : ys, zs) | otherwise = (l, []) where (ys,zs) = splitlist xs (n - 1) I know I need to change the signature to [a] - ([a],[a]), but where in the code should I put something like length(xs) so that I don't break recursion?   • Skeleton framework - css list spacing

    I'm trying to float my navigation at the top much more to left around 200px atleast more towards the end of the line that can been seen below.     I have a table MRU, that has 3 columns. (VALUE varchar(255); TYPE varchar(20); DT_ADD datetime) This is a table simply storing an entry and recording the date time it was recorded. What I wanted to do is: delete the oldest entry whenever I add a new entry that exceeds a certain number. here is my query: delete from MRU where type = 'FILENAME' ORDER BY DT_ADD limit 1; The query returns an error.     What do I need to do something like this? User builds a diagram and tags certain boxes and circles with text. User imports diagram into my program. My program processes the tagged boxes and circles and fills them with different colors. My program exports color-filled diagram. So the questions are... What graphics format supports tag-able boxes and circles? What existing application should I recommend users to use to produce diagrams in the above format? Would this graphics format be very easily readable in code to do things like reading tags and coloring in the associated boxes and circles? Free / open source libraries and apps are desired as this would be for academic use. Thank you!

    I tried to ask this question late lastnight but I was so sleepy i typed the question completely wrong. I'm looking to float my navigation to the right of its current position around 200px more, there is room but it wont move over. You can view the live code here - www.xronn.co.uk/hosting and here is an image to explain my issue a little more http://i.stack.imgur.com/JtL0C.png purple lines the 960px width of the site blue line shows the space free for the navigation to go and the red arrows of course shows which direction i want the navigation to go in (the right) Anyone got any clue why when I push to more to the right, the list starts to sit under each other

  • Possibly simple PHP/MYSQL issue with retrieving and showing data

    I have been racking my brains over this for a while now. Here is the data i have in the sql data base as an example: ID | TYPE | DATA 1 | TXT | TEST 2 | PHP | php 3 | JS | JAVASCRIPT That is just an example, there are multiple listing for TXT, PHP and JS throughout the table. What I want to do is retrive all the data and display it all into separate drop down/select boxes. Meaning, select box one would list all data with type TXT, select box two would list all data with type PHP and select box 3 would list all data with type JS. The only way I have came about doing this is doing individual sql queries for each different type. I know there is a way to do it all in 1 query and then display it the way I want to but I just can't seem to figure out how and I know its going to drive me nuts when someone helps and I see just how they did it.   • Java or C# + XNA for some simple animations?

    I want to make a program that will involve some faces with various facial expressions. They will change from one facial expression to another based on their "mood" as influenced by user input. I know some java but I have done pretty much nothing with graphics. A friend tells me that it will be easier to do this in C# with XNA than to do it in java. I have about a month to do this, so I was hoping you folks would help me make a decision. Would I be better off figuring out how to do this in java, or learning C# and XNA and doing it in C#? Is it so much easier to do this in C# that it would be quicker to learn C# than to struggle with doing it in java? Will it probably come out looking much better if it is in C#?

One way of doing this is to use a regex like this: .*\y(good|better|best)\y.* Another way of accomplishing this is using a pseudo code like this: if ( (readLine.find("good") != string::npos) || (readLine.find("better") != string::npos) || (readLine.find("best") != string::npos) ) { // line contains a word from a finite set of words. } Which way will have better performance?     Hi guys, I have an issue with a query I'm trying to run on some data, I guess the place to start is to describe the data. Ok so I have a list of email addresses, each email address has a unique ID and an account ID Also in my tables I have a set number which auto incrememnts, this will allow me to target duplicate email addresses What I need to do is something like this. Insert into duplicates (EMAIL,ACCOUNTID,ID) SELECT Email,AccountID,ID FROM EmailAddresses Group by Email,AccountID Having Count(email)>1 Order by AccountID, Email So essentially I want to select all duplicate email addresses and insert them (and their relative fields) into a new table broken down by accountID so I can run some further querys on it. I have been battling with this for way too long and could just use a fresh perspective. Cheers in advance

    Ok, I'm trying to come to grips with this nextSibling function in JS. Here's my issue within the following code... var fromRow = document.getElementById("row_1"); while(fromRow.nodeType == 1 && fromRow.nextSibling != null) { var fRowId = fromRow.id; if (!fRowId) continue; // THIS ONLY gets done once and alerts "row_1" ONLY :( alert(fRowId); fromRow = fromRow.nextSibling; } Ok can someone please tell me what is wrong with this code? There are siblings next to this document.getElementById("row_1"); element for sure as I can see them, and they all have id attributes, so why is it not getting the id attributes of the siblings?? I don't get it. row_1 is a TR element, and I need to get the TR elements next to it within this table, but for some reason, it only gets the 1 element that I can already get using document.getElementById, arggg. Thanks guys :)
