• Get Taskbar's Battery and PhoneSignal indicators icons and draw into a picturebox (C#/WindowsMobile)

  Hi, Is there any way to get taskbar's battery and phonesignal indicators icons and then draw into a picturebox or something? Why do I need this? I need all screen space available, so all forms are maximized and they cover up the windowsmobile taskbar. But, I have to display information about battery e phone signal strength in just a couple of forms. I know how to get their values (like systeminformation.phonesignalstrength), but what I want is the "current icon", so I don't need to worry about their values. It's just a visual information for the user. In last case, if this is not possible, how to get those icons from windowsmobile shell, so I'll draw them by my self, treating each differente status/values that they assume. (This is what I don't want to do!) Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english.

• SWIG generated code fails to run on PHP 5.3.2 undefined symbol: zend_error_noreturn

  I have a library that I have been using successfully with PHP 5.1.6 with the help of some wrapper code generated by SWIG (v1.3.40). I have just upgraded to PHP 5.3.2 and I am seeing the following error: PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/modules/myLib_php.so' - /usr/lib/php/modules/myLib_php.so: undefined symbol: zend_error_noreturn in Unknown on line 0 On investigation it appears that the wrapper code produced by SWIG (myLib_wrap.c) includes calls to the PHP function: zend_error_noreturn and that this function isn't available in PHP 5.3.2? Has anyone seen this issue before? Things seem to work if I manually update the generated code so that instead of calling zend_error_noreturn it just calls zend_error. Is this approach safe?

• SQL CE: Limiting rows returned in the query

  In SQL Compact Edition 3.5 , note that it is the Compact Edition I am talking about- Is there a way to limit the amount of rows to only 2? Something like using LIMIT or TOP. I really don't want to use anything with a SqlCEDataReader, or SqlCEResultSet. I want to do all the limiting in the query. Is this possible now? I have looked around and it doesn't seem so. EDIT- In response to Dave Swersky's request for data and using Min()/Max() on some columns as a means to get the top 2 lines, here is some sample (sterilized) data: Line Site Function Status 1010 Las Vegas new 4 1020 DC send 1 1030 Portland copy 1 1040 SF copy 1 1050 Portland copy 1 1060 DC send 1 *There are more columns than this but these are the significant ones. Sorry for the lack of intuitive data (but the actual data is even less intuitive!), but for security i need to change the data. So- i need to determine: what site the record was at in the preceding line to determine where it needs to be picked up. The site on any given line (except the first line with function = 'new') corresponds to where the item is going next. So simply grabbing that site off the same line wont tell me where it came from. The status will always be 1 or 4. The 4 corresponds to a where it has been delivered already and so i dont want to include those records in the result. But it might be useful in getting the pickup site. For this table of data i want the query to return the site corresponding to the line just above the first line with status 1. So- for this it would be Las Vegas.

  I want to include some HTML in the labels of the radio buttons so that the user can click a link within that label. For example <label for="value-12"> <input name="value" id="value-12" value="12" checked="checked" type="radio"> Doo Bee Dooo Bee Doooo <a href="somelink">preview this song</a> </label> The html keeps getting escaped. I want to stop that. I read about: array('escape' => false) Somewhere, but I don't know how to use that with $value->setMultiOptions($songs); or $value->addMultiOptions($songs) Any ideas? As far as I understand, anything annotated with @Repository should default to being a singleton and thus doSomeDatabaseStuff() should only be called once (as is my intention). The problem is that I'm seeing doSomeDatabaseStuff() called multiple times. What's going on here? Have I set something up incorrectly? I'm using spring 3.0.0. Thanks for the help.

  I have a form that is extend from Zend_Form. I am placing the form into a ViewScript decorator like this: $this->setDecorators(array(array('ViewScript', array('viewScript' => 'game/forms/game-management.phtml')))); I'd like to pass in a variable to this ViewScript but am not sure how this could be done. Since the partial renders out as a Zend_View (allowing $this-app_store_icon for rendering), it seems like there should be a way to pass variables to be rendered. I tried the following but to no avail. $this->setDecorators(array(array('ViewScript', array('viewScript' => 'game/forms/game-management.phtml'),array('app_store_picon'=>$current_app_store_picon)))); Any help on how to get this done would be appreciated. thanks

• Parsing an RFC822-Datetime in .NETMF 4.0

  I have an application written in .NETMF that requires that I be able to parse an RFC822-Datetime. Normally, this would be easy, but NETMF does not have a DateTime.parse() method, nor does it have some sort of a pattern matching implementation, so I'm pretty much stuck. Any ideas? EDIT: "Intelligent" solutions are probably needed. Part of the reason this is difficult is that the datetime in question has a tendency to have extra spaces in it (but only sometimes). A simple substring solution might work one day, but fail the next when the datetime has an extra space somewhere between the parts. I do not have control over the datetime, it is from the NOAA.

Does the socket really get closed? Are there side effects? P.S. This is using C# 3.0 on the .NET MicroFramework, but I suppose the c#, the language, should function identically. The reason i am asking is that occasionally, very rarely, I run out of sockets (which is a very precious resource on a .NET MF devices).

However, after the request is processed, i get to see only 2 pages in the pdf file while my 'data' returns more than 2 records.   Hi, I am a newbie for Spring MVC 3.0 and trying to write a sample webapp to get the feels of it. I am able to get url to invoke my associated controller, but not able to foward the request from which to my jsp resource as indicated by the output on the browser: The requested resource (/Spring30HelloWorld/helloworldcontroller) is not available. A word of suggestion on fixing the issue would be appreciated!! Please refer below for my code set up.   I have a Zend_Form with file element like this: ->addElement('file', 'image', array( 'required' => false, 'label' => 'Venue Image', 'validators' => array( array('IsImage', false), array('Size', false, '2097152'), array('Upload', false), ), )) And when I'm using localhost the image is uploaded successfully. But when I move to my hosting the validation error shows for image field. The mimetype of file 'foto.jpg' could not be detected. What can be the reason of this?

  Hi, I'm trying to add a CSS class to a Zend_Form_Element_Select option, but I just can't find a way to do it. The desired output would be something like this: <select name="hey" id="hey"> <option value="value1" style="parent">label1</option> <option value="value2" style="sibling">sublabel1</option> <option value="value3" style="sibling">sublabel2</option> <option value="value4" style="parent">label2</option> <option value="value5" style="sibling">sublabel3</option> <option value="value6" style="sibling">sublabel4</option> </select> But I'm getting this: <select name="hey" id="hey"> <option value="value1">label1</option> <option value="value2">sublabel1</option> <option value="value3">sublabel2</option> <option value="value4">label2</option> <option value="value5">sublabel3</option> <option value="value6">sublabel4</option> </select> I can't seem to pass a CSS class attribute to any of the options in the select element although I can style the select element itselft. My code: $sel = new Zend_Form_Element_Select('hey'); $sel->setRequired(true)->setLabel('Select an Option:'); $sel->addMultiOption('value1', 'label1', array('class' => 'parent')) ->addMultiOption('value2', 'sublabel1', array('class' => 'sibling')) (etc...); After researching a bit I found out that Element_Select doesn't have a method for adding CSS styles to the options in the select box, only for the select itself. So, how can I add them? Should I extend the form_element_select? Or would a custom decorator suffice? Can anyone give me a hint? I'm baffled with this. Thanks in advance!
