I'm looking for a C library that provides generic collection data structures such as lists, associative arrays, sets, etc. The library should be stable and well tested. I'm basically looking for something better than the crappy C standard library.
What C libraries fit this description?
EDIT: I'd prefer that the library was cross-platform, but failing that, anything that works on Mac/Linux.
I have this code:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <wchar.h>
int main()
{
wchar_t *foo = L"ðh";
wprintf(L"[%ls]\n", foo); return 0;
}
And when I compile it, it gives me the implicit declaration of function ‘wprintf’ warning. I know that I should link the wchar library during compilation, but how do I do that?
When i try and compile I come up with a warning that reads initialization makes pointer from integer without a cast. No clue why. I am just trying to get the size of a website.
#import "Lockerz_RedemptionViewController.h"
@implementation Lockerz_RedemptionViewController
-(IBAction)startLoop:(id) sender {
NSData *dataNew = [NSData dataWithData:[NSData dataWithContentsOfURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.google.com/"]]];
NSUInteger *len = [dataNew length]; //error is here
NSLog(@"%@", len);
}
I'm debating between Phonegap and RhoMobile for cross platform mobile application development. I'm a web developer with experience in Ruby as well as the traditional web technologies (HTML, CSS, and Javascript). The backend of this application will be accessed via a web browser and built with Rails. What are my chief concerns when choosing between these platforms? Which would you recommend I go with and WHY?
Thank you
I want to get the fine name without the file extension in VIM.
I wrote the following functions in my .vimrc file for compile and run the Java program.
:function! JAVA_RUN()
:!javac %^M
:endfunction
map <F3> :execute JAVA_RUN()<CR> :source $HOME/.vimrc<CR>
In side the function how can I get the file name with out the extension.
Is there a way to suppress warnings in Xcode?
For example I am calling an undocumented method and since the method is not in the header I get a warning on compile. I know I can add it to my header to stop the warning, but I am wondering if there is a way other then adding it to the header (so I can keep the headers clean and standard) to suppress the warning? A pragma or something?
I'm interested in the history of distributed, collaborative, cross-organisational programming paradigms - web services and SOA are de-facto now, but what came before? What models have been superceded by SOA?
Thanks
The animate property is very loosely documented. And unfortunately for me, the way the W3 documents SVG is VERY difficult understand and cross reference.
Does anybody know if it is possible to animate a line from point A (x1,y1) to point B (x2,y2), and if so, how would this be done? (example code would put a really bright smile on my face)
Is there an easy way (like a free program) that can covert c/c++ code to x86 assembly?
I know that any c compiler does something very similar and that I can just compile the c code and then disassemble the complied executable, but that's kind of an overkill, all I want is to convert a few lines of code.
Does anyone know of some program that can do that?
I have a large cross-cutting commit that I would like to split up according to the authors whose code was affected, both to increase the reviewers' familiarity with the code they're reviewing, and to divide the review burden equitably.
I realize that the blame may be mixed within a given hunk, in which case it would be nice to either collect multiple reviewers or just choose the most "blameworthy" one (breaking ties arbitrarily is fine).
I'm trying to follow the TableView programming guide, and I'm copying the code directly from the guide, but I get "SimpleEditableListAppDelegate undeclared" when I try to compile. Google returns nothing but the programming guide. What's SimpleEditableListAppDelegate, and how do I use it?
My HTML looks like this:
<td class="main"><b>Product Weight (2.83 lbs in 1 container)</b></td>
I need to get the value 2.83 from the HTML.
Need help with the regex.
I have this:
Pattern p = Pattern.compile(
"<td\\sclass=\"main\"><b>Product\\sWeight\\s\\s((?:\\d+\\.)?\\d+ \\w{3})");
But doesn't seem to be working.
Am I missing an escape or something?
Hi,
I just created a new project configuration.
I named it 'Blah' So no 'debug' in it.
Now how does Visual Studio know when to compile a debug file or a release file.
is this merely defined by the DEBUG constant?
Or am I wrong? :)
Thanks
I'm trying to use the angularjs tooltip directive on my d3 visualisation, so I have something like
var node = svg.selectAll(".node")
.data(nodes)
.enter().append("circle")
.attr("tooltip-append-to-body", true)
.attr("tooltip", function(d) {
return d.name;
})
// ... attributes
However, the tooltips are not showing. Do I need to $compile or something? I've tried wrapping it around $timeout too, but that didn't work.
In C# VS2008 how to replace
new SqlParameter("@Description", SqlDbType.NChar, 1500)
or
new SqlParameter("@IsRequired", SqlDbType.Bit)
to
"@Description", SqlDbType.NChar, 1500
or
"@IsRequired", SqlDbType.B
the idea is to remove new SqlParameter() and leave the parameters inside it.
I have thounds of lines code have this pattern. I just want to pass compile by using some regular expression.
How do I determine if a point is inside or outside a polygon that lies on the the surface of the earth?
The inside of the polygon can be determined via the right hand rule, ie. the inside of the polygon is on your right hand side when you walk around the polygon.
The polygon may
Circle either pole
Cross the 180 longitude
Cover more than 50% of the globe
As the globe is a sphere the normal ray crossing algorithms do not work correctly.
I want to create a very simple experimental programming language. What are some resources can i check out to get an overview of the process of creating an interpreted language. I will be using c++ to build and compile the interpreter.
hi,
when i try to convert form utf-8 string to NSString like so:
NSString *s = [NSString stringWithUTF8String:"\U0627\U0644\U0641\U0631\U0646"];
NSLog(@"%@", s);
i get the compile error:
incomplete universal character name
note that it sometime just works fine:
NSString *UAE = [NSString stringWithUTF8String:"\U0627\U0644\U0641\U0631\U0646"];
NSLog(@"%@", UAE);
and the output:
????????
so why is that happening? please help.
Often, in C# documentation, you come across a member where the description says something along the lines of "be sure to call the base method if you override this."
Is there a way to ensure at compile time that one has actually called the base function?
I just discovered the "box-sizing: border-box" css property which solves a bunch of cross browser layout problems for me. The only issue I now have is that ie7 doesn't seem to support it. Is there a hack to get ie7 to support it?
This may be a bit of an easy, headesk sort of question, but my first attempt surprisingly completely failed to work. I wanted to take an array of primitive longs and turn it into a list, which I attempted to do like this:
long[] input = someAPI.getSomeLongs();
List<Long> = Arrays.asList(input); //Total failure to even compile!
What's the right way to do this?
