    - by fceruti
I want to build a REST web service on app engine. Currently i have this: from google.appengine.ext import webapp from google.appengine.ext.webapp import util class UsersHandler(webapp.RequestHandler): def get(self, name): self.response.out.write('Hello '+ name+'!') def main(): util.run_wsgi_app(application) #Map url like /rest/users/johnsmith application = webapp.WSGIApplication([(r'/rest/users/(.*)',UsersHandler)] debug=True) if __name__ == '__main__': main() And i would like to retreive for example all my users when the path /rest/users is accessed. I Imagine I can do this by building another handler, but I want to know if is possible to do it inside of this handler.

  • Help with a pseudo-class, first-child

    - by zac
I am working on a CMS platform with limited access to the template files and want to try and control some of the layout with pseudo class but no luck yet. Can anyone see what is wrong with this structure and why my pseudo class is being ignored? <div id="main"> <div class="someRandomDiv"></div> <div class="block"> stuff </div> <div class="block"> more stuff </div> </div> and i am trying something like this #main .block {border: 1px solid blue} #main .block:first-child {border: 1px solid red} so with this example I would think the stuff block would have a red border and more stuff would have a blue but it is all just blue. Thanks for any help with this.

  • metaclass multiple inheritance inconsistency

    - by Matt Anderson
Why is this: class MyType(type): def __init__(cls, name, bases, attrs): print 'created', cls class MyMixin: __metaclass__ = MyType class MyList(list, MyMixin): pass okay, and works as expected: created <class '__main__.MyMixin'> created <class '__main__.MyList'> But this: class MyType(type): def __init__(cls, name, bases, attrs): print 'created', cls class MyMixin: __metaclass__ = MyType class MyObject(object, MyMixin): pass Is not okay, and blows up thusly?: created <class '__main__.MyMixin'> Traceback (most recent call last): File "/tmp/junk.py", line 11, in <module> class MyObject(object, MyMixin): pass TypeError: Error when calling the metaclass bases Cannot create a consistent method resolution order (MRO) for bases object, MyMixin

  • My Android 2.1 Nexus One, rooted and unlocked and unplugged and unchained! Unfreakinbelievable!

    - by misbell
So anyway. i fastbooted and superrooted, and all's fine in the merry old land of Oz. So yeah, now I can see /data/data.. in DDMS, both the plugin and the tool, which is great. but when I attach my phone, I still can't see the main drive. All I can see is the SD card. Using OSX, so when I use Disk Utility, I can see the machine then see the SD Card. is the problem that none of the tools I am using, except DDMS and ADB shell, know how to read that main Android drive? It's the same format as the qemu img, right? Someone HAS to come up with a tool that can do this, let me hack my phone and access the main drive via my USB connector, and mount that drive on my native file system. It just can NOT be that hard. Err, can it? All smiles! Michael

  • How do I set a default page in Pylons?

    - by Evgeny
I've created a new Pylons application and added a controller ("main.py") with a template ("index.mako"). Now the URL http://myserver/main/index works. How do I make this the default page, ie. the one returned when I browse to http://myserver/ ? I've already added a default route in routing.py: def make_map(): """Create, configure and return the routes Mapper""" map = Mapper(directory=config['pylons.paths']['controllers'], always_scan=config['debug']) map.minimization = False # The ErrorController route (handles 404/500 error pages); it should # likely stay at the top, ensuring it can always be resolved map.connect('/error/{action}', controller='error') map.connect('/error/{action}/{id}', controller='error') # CUSTOM ROUTES HERE map.connect('', controller='main', action='index') map.connect('/{controller}/{action}') map.connect('/{controller}/{action}/{id}') return map I've also deleted the contents of the public directory (except for favicon.ico), following the answer to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1279403/default-route-doesnt-work Now I just get error 404. What else do I need to do to get such a basic thing to work?

  • IE6 not rendering the page

    - by JX
I have a web page which consists of a few component pages. When a user requests the page, the server assembles its component pages into the main page and sends it back to the browser. When there is an update on the component page, IE6 browser cannot see the updated content. However, IE7 and Firefox are fine. Checking with Fiddler, the http response returns 200, If-Modified-Since header is the same as the last modified date of the main page, the response raw html also has the updated content. It seems that IE6 browser abandons the rendering of the page because If-Modified-Since is the same as the last modified date of the main page. Does anyone know how to overcome this issue in IE6?

  • Relying on AppDomain.IsDefaultAppDomain()

    - by lysergic-acid
I have a component which should be initialized in a certain way ONLY on the main AppDomain. On other AppDomains, it is initialized as a proxy to the object that lives in the main appdomain. The component uses AppDomain.Current.IsDefaultAppDomain() to determine whether it is on the main appdomain or not. My problem is that when running unit tests (NUnit), this method returns false, as the test runner initializes my test classes in a different app domain, causing the tests to not behave right. How can this be resolved?

  • Delphi debug a wrong unit

    - by Averroes
This is an odd behaviour by my D2006 as it happens sometimes only. I have a project I want to debug. The file I want to debug is named 'Main.pas'. I have another unrelated project with the same Unit name and sometimes the Debug prompt me the wrong Main file instead of the Main unit from the current project. This have happened to me with other files with the same name. I can't debug then as the debug keys don't work (they just don't do anything). Do you have experienced the same problem? How can I fix it? Thanks.

  • how to set breakpoint on function in a shared library which has not been loaded in gdb

    - by pierr
Hi, I have a shared library libtest.so which will be loaded into the the main program using dlopen. Function test() reside in libtest.so and will be called in the main program through dlsym. Is there any way I could set up a break point on test? Please note that the main programm has not been linked to libtest.so during linking time. Otherwise , I should be able to set the break point although it is a pending action. In my case, when I do b test, gdb will tell me Function "test" not defined.

  • Why does this program crash: passing of std::string between DLLs

    - by msiemeri
Hello together. I have some trouble figuring out why the following crashes (MSVC9): //// the following compiles to A.dll with release runtime linked dynamically //A.h class A { __declspec(dllexport) std::string getString(); }; //A.cpp #include "A.h" std::string A::getString() { return "I am a string."; } //// the following compiles to main.exe with debug runtime linked dynamically #include "A.h" int main() { A a; std::string s = A.getString(); return 0; } // crash on exit Obviously (?) this is due to the different memory models for the executable and DLL. Could it be that the string A::getString() returns is being allocated in A.dll and freed in main.exe? If so, why - and what would be a safe way to pass strings between DLLs (or executables, for that matter)? Without using wrappers like shared_ptr with a custom deleter.

  • Hibernate Lazy init exception in spring scheduled job

    - by Noam Nevo
I have a spring scheduled job (@Scheduled) that sends emails from my system according to a list of recipients in the DB. This method is annotated with the @Scheduled annotation and it invokes a method from another interface, the method in the interface is annotated with the @Transactional annotation. Now, when i invoke the scheduled method manually, it works perfectly. But when the method is invoked by spring scheduler i get the LazyInitFailed exception in the method implementing the said interface. What am I doing wrong? code: The scheduled method: @Component public class ScheduledReportsSender { public static final int MAX_RETIRES = 3; public static final long HALF_HOUR = 1000 * 60 * 30; @Autowired IScheduledReportDAO scheduledReportDAO; @Autowired IDataService dataService; @Autowired IErrorService errorService; @Scheduled(cron = "0 0 3 ? * *") // every day at 2:10AM public void runDailyReports() { // get all daily reports List<ScheduledReport> scheduledReports = scheduledReportDAO.getDaily(); sendScheduledReports(scheduledReports); } private void sendScheduledReports(List<ScheduledReport> scheduledReports) { if(scheduledReports.size()<1) { return; } //check if data flow ended its process by checking the report_last_updated table in dwh int reportTimeId = scheduledReportDAO.getReportTimeId(); String todayTimeId = DateUtils.getTimeid(DateUtils.getTodayDate()); int yesterdayTimeId = Integer.parseInt(DateUtils.addDaysSafe(todayTimeId, -1)); int counter = 0; //wait for time id to update from the daily flow while (reportTimeId != yesterdayTimeId && counter < MAX_RETIRES) { errorService.logException("Daily report sender, data not ready. • Routing configuration in cakephp

    - by ShiVik
Hello all I am trying to implement routing in cakephp. I want the urls to mapped like this... www.example.com/nodes/main - www.example.com/main www.example.com/nodes/about - www.example.com/about So for this I wrote in my config/routes.php file.. Router::connect('/:action', array('controller' => 'nodes')); Now, I got the thing going but when I click on the links, the url in browser appears like www.example.com/nodes/main www.example.com/nodes/about Is there some way where I can get the urls to appear the way they are routed? Setting in .htaccess or httpd.conf would be easy - but I don't have access to that. Regards Vikram

  • I have a filter for jquery masonry - but I want to filter moomasonry

Hi, I'm using jquery masonry for layout. But I am considering moving to mootools. I have found a masonry port to mootools, called moomasonry - http://www.crionics.com/products/opensource/mooMasonry/Demos/basic.html With help here, I have a filter on the masonry divs by class: $('a.filter').click(function(){ filterBoxes(this.id); }) function filterBoxes(klass){ if (klass == "all") { klass = "box" } $('#holder').find('.' + klass) .hide() .appendTo('#main') .fadeIn('200') $('#main').find('.box:not(.' + klass + ')') .fadeOut( '200', function(){ $(this).appendTo('#holder') ; }); setTimeout(function(){ $('#main').masonry() },500); } But, how would I filter divs by class in mootools? and have it reload masonry after each filter. EDIT: By changing DataLoggingSystemStateReceiver dlss(); to DataLoggingSystemStateReceiver dlss; in main(), the line executes. Can someone explain why?

  • Importing/Exporting Relationships in MS Access

I have a couple of mdb files with the exact table structure. I have to change the primary key of the main table from autonumber to number in all of them, which means I have to: Drop the all the relationships the main table has Change the main table Create the relationships again,... for all the tables. Is there any way to export the relationships from one file and importing them to all the rest? I am sure this can be done with some macro/vb code. Does anyone has an example I could use? Thanks.

  • IIS 6.0 - ASP Error 0126 Include file not found

    - by André
Hello, I have a Win Sever 2003 running IIS 6.0 which has only my main website on it and now I am trying to setup a test website which currently is an exact duplicate of the main site. When accessing my main site everything works fine, and has done for a long time. If I access the test site (through 'test.' subdomain) I get this error: Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0126' Include file not found /html/shop/asp/admin/inc/incWeeklySpecialswide3.asp, line 71 The include file '/html/asp/quickfindwithSuburbs31.asp' was not found. The file actually exists, and the paths are correct. I have enabled Parent Paths, replaced the include file path to the full path (http://foo.com/html/asp -etc.), removing the ' / ' at the start of the path and changing the code from ' include ' to ' virtual '. Thanks in advance.

  • Linker library for OpenMP for Snow Leopard?

Currently, I am trying out OpenMP on XCode 3.2.2 on Snow Leopard: #include <omp.h> #include <iostream> #include <stdio.h> int main (int argc, char * const argv[]) { #pragma omp parallel printf("Hello from thread %d, nthreads %d\n", omp_get_thread_num(), omp_get_num_threads()); return 0; } I didn't include any linking libraries yet, so the linker complains: "_omp_get_thread_num", referenced from: _main in main.o "_omp_get_num_threads", referenced from: _main in main.o OK, fine, no problem, I take a look in the existing framework, looking for keywords such as openmp or omp... here comes the problem, where is the linking library? Or should I say, what is the name of the linking library for openMP? Is it dylib, framework or what? Or do I need to get it from somewhere first?
