• NHibernate.MappingException (no persister for) weirdness

  The weird part being that I have other tests that validate the mapping and even the method being called (Nhib session.SaveOrUpdate) that run just fine. The entire exception is below. Here is some debug output from a test that does work: Item type: Domain.Model.Projects.Project item: 007-00-056 ATM Machine Replacement Is transient: True Id: 0 NHibernate: INSERT INTO Projects (Code, Description) VALUES (@p0, @p1); select insert_rowid();@p0 = '007-00-056', @p1 = 'ATM Machine Replacement' Here is the same debug output before the exception: Item type: Smack.ConstructionAdmin.Domain.Model.Projects.Project item: 006-00-023 Refinish Casino Chairs Is transient: True Id: 0 The two tests are different in that the one that works is just testing the repository, and saving in memory test data. The failing one is saving data that has been converted from a legacy db (which has it's own session). The repository is also a replacement design for a different IProjectRepsitory that worked fine doing this, so the new repository is also a likely suspect here. Does anyone see what I'm missing or have some questions to narrow it down? • how do I access XHR responseBody from Javascript?

  I've got a web page that uses XMLHttpRequest to download a binary resource. Because it's binary I'm trying to use xhr.responseBody to access the bytes. I've seen a few posts suggesting that it's impossible to access the bytes directly from Javascript. This sounds crazy to me. Weirdly, xhr.responseBody is accessible from VBScript, so the suggestion is that I must define a method in VBScript in the webpage, and then call that method from Javascript. The best way? copying every byte? For a large binary stream that's not gonna be very efficient. There is also a possible technique using ADODB.Stream, which is a COM equivalent of a MemoryStream. See here for an example. • How to pass touch from a UITextView to a UITableViewCell

  I have a UITextView in a custom UITableViewCell. The textview works properly (scrolls, shows text, etc.) but I need the users to be able to tap the table cell and go to another screen. Right now, if you tap the edges of the table cell (i.e. outside the UItextView) the next view is properly called. But clearly inside the uitextview the touches are being captured and not forwarded to the table cell. I found a post that talked about subclassing UITextView to forward the touches. I tried that without luck. The implementation is below. I'm wondering if maybe a) the super of my textview isn't the uitableviewcell and thus I need to pass the touch some other way or b) If the super is the uitableviewcell if I need to pass something else? • DTS to AC3 conversion for LG TV using mediatomb DLNA server

  I want to convert a MKV video file containing DTS audio to a stream with AC3 audio. I want to pass this resulting stream to mediatomb's transcoding feature. Mediatomb will transfer the stream via DLNA to a LG TV, which does not support DTS audio. I have tried the VLC command below but the TV does not recognize the stream, and playing the destination stream on PC does not produce sound. vlc -vvv -I dummy INPUT.file --sout \ '#transcode{acodec=ac3,ab=256k,channels=2,threads=4} \ :std{mux=ts,access=file,dst=DEST.file}' The following ffmpeg command give a stream that plays on the TV with sound, but the ffmpeg process gets killed (with signal 15) within 10-15 seconds, and then the TV restarts the playback from the beginning. This goes on in loops. ffmpeg -i INPUT.file -acodec ac3 -ab 384k -vcodec copy \ -vbsf h264_mp4toannexb -f mpegts -y DEST.file I want to have a working DLNA server which transcodes DTS to AC3, any help is appreciated.

• Can't upgrade my Ubuntu server, it gets stuck on openjdk-6-jre-headless

  I am using Ubuntu Server. When I do: apt-get upgrade it gets stuck on: Setting up openjdk-6-jre-headless (6b20-1.9.7-0ubuntu1) ... Why? And what can I do to stop it? • Navigation view system with webview problem with touches!

I have a tab bar controller with 5 navigation controlls, in one of the navigation control, i have a view, with a table view inside, and when i click that item i push a new view, that view have view -webview -view i create that second view(is transperant) because i need to handle a single tap to hide my toolbar and navigation bar, and the webview was eating all the touches! So any other way to implements this to get the touches in the links, or i should change this workaround to hide the toolbars so i can have the full functionability of the webview? • Fullcalendar doesn't render color when using eventRender

  When I set-up fullCalendar and set eventRender function callback, I want to set the color of the event depending if LeadId is null or not. So the question is why isn't it applying on the 1st render, but on subsequent renders (i.e. after move) the colour gets applied?

Does it scale ? I would like to get statistics (Amount of clients, Bandwidth, etc), is it possible with red5 ? Do you know any other good solution to do that ? This class needs to observe an event to perform a drag operation (the current drag-drop controls aren't right for this situation), but I'm having problems making it stop observing the events. • How do I determine which HD is involved in the Event Viewer?

  My PC apparently crashed before I came home from work (so my daugthers tell me; they rebooted it). The first thing I did, after it came up, was got into the Event Viewer to see what it said. Several hours before they rebooted it, there's a message in the event viewer that says: The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk5\DR5 I've no idea what that means. I got into Computer Manager, to take a look at the disks on my machine. There's only 1 hard drive, and a few slots for microSD, etc, but none of them are labeled "Harddisk5", nor is there anything there labeled "DR5". How do I determine what, if anything, those are? Could they be USB drives that my daughters used?

  We have Reporting Services running, and twice in the past 6 months it has been down for 1-3 days, and suddenly it will start working again. The errors range from not being able to view the tree root in a browser, down to being able to insert parameters on a report, but crashing before the report can generate. Looking at the logs, there is 1 error and 1 warning which seem to correspond somewhat. After it's saved, I insert it to the tree. So I can't change the slug until then. I think a Transaction listener could work, but I'm use there is a better way I'm not seeing right now. thanks!

  I have noticed a rather strange behaviour in IE. I have a HTML form with a single input text field and a submit button On Submit click I need to execute a client side JavaScript function that does the necessary. • Events + Adapter Pattern

  I have an adapter pattern on a generic class that essentially adapts between types: class A<T> { event EventHandler e; } class Aadapter<T1, T2> : A<T1> { A<T2> a; Aadapter(A<T2> _a) { a = _a; } } The problem is that A contains an event. I effectively want all event handlers assigned to Adapter to fall through to a. It would be awesome if I could assign the a's event handler to adapter's event handler but this is impossible? The idea here is that A is almost really just A but we need a way to adapt the them. Because of the way event's work I can't how to efficiently do it except manually add two event handlers and when they are called they "relay" the to the other event. This isn't pretty though and it would seem much nicer if I could have something like class A<T> { event EventHandler e; } class Aadapter<T1, T2> : A<T1> { event *e; A<T2> a; Aadapter(A<T2> _a) { a = _a; e = a.e; } } in a sense we have a pointer to the event that we can assign a2's event to. I doubt there is any simple way but maybe someone has some idea to make it work. (BTW, I realize this is possible with virtual events but I'd like to avoid this if at all possible)
