• SecurityException when accessing (ejb2-) session bean via local interface in JBoss 5

  I have the following problem with an EJB 2 SessionBean when deploying in JBoss 5: The SessionBean (called LVSKeepAliveDispatcher) requires a specific user role (called "LVSUser"), specified by <method-permission > <description></description> <role-name>LVSUser</role-name> <method > <description></description> <ejb-name>LVSKeepAliveDispatcher</ejb-name> <method-name>*</method-name> </method> </method-permission> in ejb-jar.xml. I now want to access this SessionBean from a Service (i.e. a class implementing the org.jboss.varia.scheduler.Schedulable interface that is then registered as a service) running inside the same JBoss instance. This worked fine in JBoss 3.2.7. Edit: My current workaround for this problem: create a new container configuration in jboss.xml and remove the security interceptor stuff from this configuration use this newly created container configuration for all my session beans that I only use locally (i.e. via local interface).

  I am trying to make a blackjack game where before each new round, the program checks to make sure that the deck has 7 cards per player. And if it doesn't, the deck clears, repopulates, and reshuffles. I have most of the problem down, but for some reason at the start of every deal it reshuffles the deck more than once, and I can't figure out why. Help, please. I need to configure to it have multiple columns mapped to my list view. Do I need to change any javascript function or use sharepoint designer. I have spent a week trying to accomplish this.   Hi all, I recently installed TFS 2010 with the included sharepoint services on a single server. I am getting the following error multiple times on the project dashboard web page on the TFS2010 project protal after creating a brand new project in the default project collection. I am not an expert with WSS, so any guidance will be greatly appreciated. After reading a few articles I understand there are some DLL that are probably not declared as safe in a web config file. But I am not sure which DLL they are and where the web config file is. I looked at IIS to determine the directory structure in IIS is quiet different to the URL path ...Thanks very much. • How to edit item in a listbox shown from reading a .csv file?

  I am working in a project where my application can open a .csv file and read data from it. The .csv file contains the latitude, longitude of places. The application reads data from the file shows it in a static map and display icon on the right places. The application can open multiple file at a time and it opens with a new tab every time. But I am having trouble in couple of cases When I am trying to add a new point to the .csv file opened. I am able to write new point on the same file instead adding a new point data to the existing its replacing others and writing the new point only. I cannot use selectedIndexChange event to perform edit option on the listbox and then save the file.   Hi, guys I am new to Android development, just reading docs and trying the APIs. I am quit confused how ImageView managed to draw just a part of its content after an invalidate(Rect) invocation. I've checked ImageView.java, found no other drawing method except onDraw(Canvas), but onDraw(Canvas) only cut the drawable only if it is beyound the view's visible boundary. I also read the implementation of View.invalidate(Rect), I think the key of this function is calling to mParent.invalidateChild(this, r); However, I think the parent view doesn't know how to draw the child in the given Rect, it finally has to call some method of it child to paint out. Has anybody investigated this part of codes? Would you please give me some guide?

  For all pages in my codeigniter app except my default controller, when I refresh the browser the url isn't affected as one would expect. However for my default controller, main.php, when when I refresh the browser at "http://localhost/main" or "http://mysite.com/main", the main part is stripped off the url. So the browser bar shows just "http://localhost" or "http://mysite.com". Totally lost on where to start with this but was just wondering if anyone has come across this before...? I can get the information by: a web part programmed to interact generically, and display the data it receives putting the web parts on a page, and look at the available connections inspecting the DLL's (haven't tried this, because I can't find the DLL's, but I guess it's possible) It seems strange to me that there is no documentation of these interfaces.   I use MD5 hash for identifying files with unknown origin. No attacker here, so I don't care that MD5 has been broken and one can intendedly generate collisions. My problem is I need to provide logging so that different problems are diagnosed easier. If I log every hash as a hex string that's too long, inconvenient and looks ugly, so I'd like to shorten the hash string. Now I know that just taking a small part of a GUID is a very bad idea - GUIDs are designed to be unique, but part of them are not. Is the same true for MD5 - can I take say first 4 bytes of MD5 and assume that I only get collision probability higher due to the reduced number of bytes compared to the original hash?

  Based on a previous question and with a lot of help from Damir Sudarevic (thanks) I have the following sql code which works great but is very slow. Can anyone suggest how I can speed this up and optimise for speed. I am now using SQL Server Express 2008 (not 2005 as per my original question). What this code does is retrieves parameters and their associated values from several tables and rotates the table in a form that can be easily compared. • How can I use Performance Counters in C# to monitor 4 processes with the same name?

  I'm trying to create a performance counter that can monitor the performance time of applications, one of which is Google Chrome. However, I notice that the performance time I get for chrome is unnaturally low - I look under the task-manager to realize my problem that chrome has more than one process running under the exact same name, but each process has a different working set size and thus(what I would believe) different processor times. I tried doing this: // get all processes running under the same name, and make a performance counter // for each one. Process[] toImport = Process.GetProcessesByName("chrome"); instances = new PerformanceCounter[toImport.Length]; for (int i = 0; i < instances.Length; i++) { PerformanceCounter toPopulate = new PerformanceCounter ("Process", "% Processor Time", toImport[i].ProcessName, true); //Console.WriteLine(toImport[i].ProcessName + "#" + i); instances[i] = toPopulate; } But that doesn't seem to work at all - I just monitor the same process several times over. Can anyone tell me of a way to monitor separate processes with the same name?
