    I have been trying to get this array function to output (non-zero) minimum values in the 'FINAL DATA' AE column.   • Retrieve web user's Identity outside of request scope

    I have an ASP.NET app that logs Audit reports using nHibernate's IPreUpdateListener. In order to set the current user in the Listener events, I was using System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent(). This works fine when debugging on my machine, but when I move it to the staging server, I'm getting the ASP.NET process credentials, not the requesting user. In the ASP.NET page, I can use Request.LogonUserIdentity (which works fine since I'm using integrated authentication), but how do I reference this user directly without having to pass it directly to my event? I don't want to have to pass this info through the pipeline because it really doesn't belong in the intermediate events/calls.

    I have a Range variable that contains an address - $2:$2,$4:$205,$214:$214 - (3 groups of rows). I would like to get the count of all the rows in that range. However, range.Count gives me the count of all the cells (50,000~) and range.Rows.Count only return 1 - the count of all the rows in the first group. How do I get the count of all the rows Thanks

  • How to perform a Depth First Search iteratively using async/parallel processing?

    Here is a method that does a DFS search and returns a list of all items given a top level item id. How could I modify this to take advantage of parallel processing? Currently, the call to get the sub items is made one by one for each item in the stack. It would be nice if I could get the sub items for multiple items in the stack at the same time, and populate my return list faster.   • Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer large data output is damaged

    I use Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer to generate .xls file and it works fine until I have to deal with a large amount of data. On certain stage it just writes some nonsense chars and quits filling certain columns. However some columns are field up to the end (generally numeric data) I'm not quite sure how the xls document is formed: row by row, or col by col... Also it is obviously not an error in a string, because when i cut out some data, the error appears a little bit further.     Hi, I'm using MS log application block for logging my application event into a file called app-trace.log which located on the c:\temp folder. I'm trying to find the best way to read this file at runtime and display it when the user asks for it. now i have 2 issues: it seems that this kind of feature is not supported by the framework, hence i have to write this reader myself. am i missing something here? is there any better way of getting this data (w/o buffering it in the memory or saving it into another file). if i'm taking the only alternative that left for me, and implementing the reader myself, when i'm tring to do: System.IO.FileStream fs = new System.IO.FileStream(@"c:\temp\app-trace.log", FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read); i'm getting "File being used by another process c#", probably the file is locked by the application block. is there any way to access and read it anyhow?   • Can't add libraries to Eclipse Android project

    I'm trying to get the Hackbook for Android project to work in Eclipse. One of the things I need to do is remove that invalid reference and include that project I made. I did this before, but then I started over and now it doesn't work. Here is where I add the project. If I click "Apply" and then "OK" everything seems to be fine, but it isn't, because when I go back to this screen, none of the changes I made are there. Why isn't it saving my changes? How am I supposed to do this?

  • Unresolved External Symbol

    I am working on wrapping a large number of .h and .lib files from native C++ to Managed C++ for eventual use as a referenced .dll in C#. I have the .lib files linked in and everything has been going smoothly so far. Upon wrapping the latest .h file, I hit a snag when 2 functions came back with the link error: error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol __imp__htonl@4 referenced in function "public: void __thiscall Field::setCharacter(unsigned char,int)" (?setCharacter@Field@@QAEXEH@Z) myutils.lib I have referenced "myutils.lib" in the linker options, so that shouldn't be the issue. What's strange is that I have about 20 functions in this particular .h file and all of the rest are linking just fine except for 3 functions. Any ideas?

With Python it's fairly easy to use modulefinder, compileall, and zipfile to make a nice tidy zip containing all the external libraries used. Does Lua have the ability to bundle up its libraries like that, or is there some better best practice for distributing programs that embed Lua?

  • C++: Platform indepentend game lib?

    Hi, I want to write a serious 2D game, and it would be nice if I have a version for Linux and one for Windows (and eventually OSX). Java is fantastic because of its platform independent. But Java is to slow to write a serious game. So, I thought to write it in C++. But C++ isn't very cross-platform friendly. I can find game libraries for Windows and libraries for Linux, but I'm searching one that I can use for both, by recompiling the source on a Windows platform and on a Linux platform. Are there engines for this or is this idea irrelevant? Isn't it that easy (recompiling)? Any advice and information about C++ libraries would be very very very appreciated!

    I have a ocnnection to SQL Server set up in my vba code. The format is: strConn = "ODBC;Driver=SQL;Server=SQL1;Database=DB1;Uid=1;Pwd=1" I have this in 4 sheets, but there will be times when I will want to change it to call from SQL2 or SQL3, and instead of changing the code on each sheet 4 times, I want to change it only once. Is there a way to set up that line to run by calling it from somewhere else or by passing in a string into the ""?

    Below I am trying to write a script the goal of which is to calculate some summary statistics for a few different columns of numbers. I have gotten some help on it up to the "Need help below" mark. But beyond that I am flabergasted as to how to calculate the simple stats (sum, mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation).
