    According to the way to add indexOf method to Array class in IE6, how do I now reject this method from iterating through any random array? For example: Array.prototype.indexOf = function(needle) { ... }; var array = [1, 2, 3]; for (var i in array) { document.write(i + ': ' + array[i]); } gives output 0: 1 1: 2 2: 3 indexOf: function ... How can I skip indexOf property and stop iterating on it without adding any code to where for(...) is called?

    I have solved this problem, I just need to know what to do. I get the above error because I just realised that the class is being run as class::function($values) instead of class-function($values).     Hello, I use Visual studio 2008 I have 5 listbox's on form,I created a new class file -called him "scaner.cs" scaner.cs -he cannot see "listbox".     So, what I'm trying to do is access my Form's width and/or height to use in a storyboard. Essentially, I have a Translate Transform animation to slide what are essentially two pages. I am trying to check the arrayList of Appointments and see if the field (resolved) is set to true, however I am receiving an ConcurrentModification exception during the searchOwner method when trying to set resolved = to true. I've tried using an Iterator in checkRemoval instead of an enhanced for-loop however that didn't help either. I really only need to get the part where the appointment is set to true to work, the checkRemoval seemed to be working early before implementing the changing of the boolean resolved. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    Is there a way to pass a wrap and unwrap a TObject descendent in an OleVariant? I am trying to pass a TObject across automation objects. I know it's not a good idea but I don't have a good alternative. Something like this: function GetMyObjAsVariant; var MyObj: TMyObj; begin MyObj := TMyObj.Create; result := OleVariant(MyObj); end; Which would be used by a client as var MyObj: TMyObj; begin MyObj := GetMyObjAsVariant as TMyObj; end; This fails to compile, returning E2015 Operator not applicable to this operand type.

    I'd like to be able to write a PHP class that behaves like an array and uses normal array syntax for getting & setting. For example (where Foo is a PHP class of my making): $foo = new Foo(); $foo['fooKey'] = 'foo value'; echo $foo['fooKey']; I know that PHP has the _get and _set magic methods but those don't let you use array notation to access items. Python handles it by overloading __getitem__ and __setitem__. Is there a way to do this in PHP? If it makes a difference, I'm running PHP 5.2.

    I have an xml file that I'm parsing with php's simplexml, but I'm having an issue with an iteration through nodes. the xml: <channel> <item> <title>Title1</title> <category>Cat1</category> </item> <item> <title>Title2</title> <category>Cat1</category> </item> <item> <title>Title3</title> <category>Cat2</category> </item> </channel> my counting function: public function cat_count($cat){ $count = 0; $items = $this->xml->channel->item; $size = count($size); for($i=0;$i<$size;$i++){ if($items[$i]->category == $cat){ $count++; } } return $count; } Am I overlooking an error in my code, or is there another preferred method for iterating through the nodes? I've also used a foreach and while statement with no luck, so I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?

  • Declaring an object of a conditional type with a System.Type

    I am attempting to launch a specific form depending on the selected node of a treeview on the doubleclick event. The code I need to use to launch the form is a little bulky becuase I have to ensure that the form is not disposed, and that the form is not already open, before launching a new instance. I'd like to have all of this checking happen in one place at the end of the function, which means that I have to be able to pass the right form type to the code at the end. I'm trying to do this with a System.Type, but that doesn't seem to be working. Could someone point me in the right direction, please?     I'm trying to build a voip application on a new android device, i use AudioRecorder to read the microphone but I'm getting no valid results, just white noise. This happen only on this new device(other work well) and this is probably because this device has PTT ability.
