  • Convert tax like IRS function to SQL

    Trying to convert this tax-like IRS function http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1817920/calculating-revenue-share-at-different-tiers to SQL. The assumption is the table would be one column (price) and the tiers will be added dynamically. My first attempt has some case statements that didn't work out well.   • Sharepoint Web Part validation set off by Publishing Controls

    I have a web part which uses validation on a textbox field to prevent submission of an empty field. When clicking on Check In to Share Draft or Publish, this validation is done, and since I am not actually trying to submit the form, but rather check it in, I'd rather this didn't happen. How can I achieve this? See also: Sharepoint web part form validation blocks updating web part settings - this has the validation code, and how I solved the problem of the EditorPart setting off the validation.

Right now the tweetmeme settings show: float: right; margin-left: 10px; What's the best Facebook plugin for this and what settings do I need? I think the Simple Facebook Share Button should be good but I'm not sure the bit of code I should put to move it below the tweetmeme button.

For example, I install xyz framework and i run two or more sites based on this single installation of xyz framework rather than installing the framework for each site.     Hi As i know, all the threads share memory location. For example a global variable changes in one thread will reflect in another thread. Since each thread has its own stack, the local variables that are created inside the thread is unique. In this case, why do we need to go for thread specific data mechanism?. Can't it be achieved by auto storage varibles inside the thread function ? Kindly clarify!!!. BR Rj

    I'm creating a Windows Phone 7 app and learning Silverlight in the process. I have a youtube video url and I'd like the user to be able to click a video thumbnail in my list and go to a youtube app to view the video (similar to iPhone). Is this possible? If so, can you share some code to send the user to the video? I already have a MouseLeftButtonUp event handler.

  • Are there any data-binding solution that works in C++ and GWT and supports structures polymorphism?

    I expect it should share a common description, like XmlSchema or IDL and should generate classes for target language. I found Thrift and it's really nice solution, but it doesn't support structures polymorphism. I would like to have collections of base class objects, where I could place instances of subclasses, serialize this and deserialize at the opposite side. Some mechanism of polymorphic behavior support, like Visitor, would be a perfect. Does anybody know something suitable for these requirements?
