• Treeview - Link Button Post Back Problem

  Hi there I' m working on a web application. That has a master page and two pages. These pages under the that master page. I am trying navigate that pages with a TreeView which on the master page. When i click to treeview node i can go to page which i want but there is no postback. But if i use linkbutton postback event happen. I use a break point on master page's pageload event. When i use treeview, v.s doesnt stop on break point line but if i use link button v.s stop on that line. How can i do postback with using treeview? Thanks for your helps

• [C#] A problem of downloading webpage's HTML source.

  I use System.Net.WebClient.DownloadString(url) to get the HTML source of http://kqxs.vn but what I recieved is a caution text from the web server which says in Vietnamese as: "Xin loi. Chung toi khong the dap ung yeu cau truy cap cua ban... Vui long lien he : [email protected]. Chao ban" which is translated in English as "Sorry. We cannot response to your request... Please contact... Good bye." This is strange because when I use a WebControl to get the HTML ( by calling .Navigate(url) and then .DocumentText), I receive the different HTML codes - which in turn is exactly what I see when open the website by Firefox & view the source code from Firefox. I read DownloadData() is downloading source that is completely wrong. Source view in Firefox different than that downloaded. - Stack Overflow and found the answer to my symptom. But I don't know how to set the User-Agent. Please help.

• SharePoint 2010 HttpModule problem

  I'm trying to write an HttpModule to run on our SharePoint farm - essentially it will check whether the user is authenticated and if they are it will validate some info against another database and potentially redirect the user to sign a variety of usage agreements. Whenever I enable the module in the web.config I'm finding that SharePoint has issues rendering the page - it's almost like the CSS is not getting loaded as the page is devoid of any styling. As a test I've even tried an empty module - i.e. an empty init block so it's not even hooking up any code to any events and the same issue arises. At this point it's an empty class that just implements IHttpModule so it's not even my dodgy coding causing the issue! The module is in a class library that I've dropped in to the bin folder of the application it needs to run against. In the web.config of the app I've simply added an entry as below: <modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true"> ... (default stuff ommitted) <add name="SharePointAUP" type="SPModules.SharePointAUP" /> </modules> I must be missing something really obvious here as I've done exactly the same as every sample I've found and yet I'm getting this strange behaviour. Is there something extra I need to do to get SharePoint to play nice with a custom module?

  I have just moved a site from a Windows 2003, IIS6 SQL 2005 server to a new one with Windows 2008, IIS7 and SQL 2008. I am having problems with the Report Viewer. I have installed the Report Viewer Re-distributable (I've tried 2005, 2005sp, 2008 and 2008sp) I've Mapped a handler in IIS for Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd to type Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler, Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a However whenever I run a report on the website I get the following error message: Could not load type 'Microsoft.Reporting.Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler' from assembly 'Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'. • Telerik RadAlert back button cache problem

  Hi, I'm sure you have had this one before so if you could point me to something similar.... I have a server side creation of a RadAlert window using the usual Sys.Application.remove_load and add_load procedure however the alert keeps popping up as it seems to be caching when the user hits the back button after it has been activated. I have tried to put a onclick event on a button to clear the function using remove_load before it moves to the next page however it still doesn't seem to clear it. Its used in validation so if a user inputs failed validation it pops up. If they then go and enter correct validation it then moves onto the next page. If they then use back button this is where it pops up again. Any ideas? • problem installing VS 2010 after uninstalling the RC

  Hi I uninstalled my VS 2010 RC to install VS 2010. However, it fails to install with the following error in the log files: d:\vs_setup.msi could not be opened. I've tried running the windows clean install and deleting any VS2010 files; also renamed the Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0 folder in the registry, but I keep getting the same error. I can see the vs_setup.msi on the dvd, it just won't allow me to run it directly. I have to run setup.exe. Any ideas?

  Hi, i have a GridView (selectable) in which I want to generate a dynamic GridView in a new row BELOW the selected row. I can add the row and gridview dynamically in the Gridview1 PreRender event. I need to use this event because: _OnDataBound is not called on every postback (same for _OnRowDataBound) _OnInit is not possible because the 'Inner table' for the Gridview is added after Init _OnLoad is not possible because the 'selected' row is not selected yet. I can add the columns to the dynamic GridView based on my ITemplate class. But now the button events won't fire.... Any suggestions?   I'm having a lot of difficulty getting strophe's 'attach()' function working. I am working on a social network where users will be surfing pages and at the same time keep their chat connection on.   I have form which has many tabs. Every tab has many controls textboxes, comboboxes, datagrids and e .t.c. I bind form to one data source in such way this.DataContext=MyClassInstance But with this way my form opening very slow. about one minute. When I comment above code, form opens very quickly. All My controls I bound to the class properties in XAML.   Hello All, I'm new to DynamicJasper, I think it's a great project but for a few days I cannot run simple example which will display polish fonts properly. Details sections is generated without any problems automatically displaying polish letters like 'c z z a' etc. where title and column headers contain strange letters instead.   Hi, I'm having a couple of problems with the JQuery tablesorter plugin. If you click on a column header, it should sort the data by this column, but there are a couple of problems: The rows are not properly sorted (1, 1, 2183, 236) The total row is included in the sort Regarding (2), I can't easily move the total row to a table footer, because the HTML is generated by the displaytag tag library over which I have limited control. Regarding (1), I don't understand why the sort doesn't work as I've used exactly the same JavaScript shown in the simplest example in the tablesorter tutorials. I'm using gcc version 4.6.0 20110530 (Red Hat 4.6.0-9) (GCC) Later edit: I'm really sorry, but I wrote the code by hand directly here. I have defined the return types in the code. I apologize to the 2 people that answered below. I have to mention that I am a beginner at using more complex project layouts in C++.By this I mean more complex makefiles, shared libraries, stuff like that.

  Why does Time.now yield the server local time when I have set the another time zone in my environment.rb config.time_zone = 'Copenhagen' I've put this in a view <p> Time.zone <%= Time.zone %> </p> <p> Time.now <%= Time.now %> </p> <p> Time.now.utc <%= Time.now.utc %> </p> <p> Time.zone.now <%= Time.zone.now %> </p> <p> Time.zone.today <%= Time.zone.today %> </p> rendering this result on my app at heroku Time.zone (GMT+01:00) Copenhagen Time.now Mon Apr 26 08:28:21 -0700 2010 Time.now.utc Mon Apr 26 15:28:21 UTC 2010 Time.zone.now 2010-04-26 17:28:21 +0200 Time.zone.today 2010-04-26 Time.zone.now yields the correct result. Do I have to switch from Time.now to Time.zone.now, everywhere? Seems cumbersome. I truly don't care what the local time of the server is, it's giving me loads of trouble due to extensive use of Time.now. Am I misunderstanding anything fundamental here?
